Food was fabulous! We ordered the Jambalaya and the crab And seafood pie ( called something else). Both dishes were delicious. The Cottage is famous for their deserts so we split a piece of the Coconut Cottage cake. Worth the calories but too big - must share. One disappointment was that the beverages were served in styrofoam. I really prefer a mug for my coffee. Service was prompt, prices a bit high but experience was good.
My wife and I went here while on our honeymoon. I got the blue crab, corn, and bacon pot pie and she got the Mufoletta sandwich. Both of them were out of this world. She loved her sandwich and my pot pie was the best thing I ve eaten in weeks!! Loaded with fresh sweet crab meat, it was absolutely out of this world! The setting/view was excellent. She got one of the chai teas and it was delicious as was my medium roast coffee. We would highly recommend and definitely hope to come back one day!
It was my mother s 85th birthday last weekend. Because of Covid-19, we could not come down to celebrate with her. I wanted to send her a special birthday cake. I called The Cottage and spoke to Dave. He couldn t have been nicer and very helpful. He had Leslie, the baker and maybe the owner....not sure, call me to make sure, my mother had the perfect cake. Dave delivered it to her home....her words dressed beautifully and had a nice car . She said the cake was perfect and delicious. She invited all her friends over and was happy because they were so impressed. :)
I can t thank them enough for bringing some joy to my mom. It was so special.

Today was our first time to come to the cottage, we were very much looking forward to having breakfast there and unfortunately was a very bad experience. First off there was only one server and too many customers. We ordered the crab cake Benedict and the shrimp and grits, both were pretty bad. Crab cake was full of corn and carrots which tasted frozen to me, this was probably the worst crab cake I had so far, the sauce on top tasted weird as well, the potatoes that came to the side were burnt to the point there was black pieces in them. The shrimp and grits didn t taste right at all and it had clumps. And we ended up paying almost $60 for breakfast with a coffee and a Bloody Mary.
This place was highly recommended from a lot of people but based on my experience today, I don t think I ll be coming back
Their cake is really good and the flavor combinations are so unique. Loved a recent mint lavender cake i had recently. We also got a strawberry amaretto slice of cake that was also delicious. Been here many times and I'm never disappointed.

We had stopped by last minute before we went back home from our honeymoon, these lovely ladies let us in even after they were closing up just so we could try this place out before we left. They were absolute dolls for that, it was so thoughtful of them to do that for us.
I had a lemon bar, I swear y all I could have had like 6 of those things if I could. It was that good! I even tried my husband s chocolate, caramel, pecan brownie. Goodness gracious!! It was rich, gooey, and down right delicious!!

After 3 visits and a long hair in my daughters eggs at breakfast. Hands down the dirtiest resturant around. It seems quaint at first but when you visit the bathroom and other porch area's, it is filthy. The staff is very nice and the service is great! The food lacks, nothing special and is expensive. Which would be fine if the quality was there. I gave them 3 chances....

Best breakfast in town! Their omelette is amazing! Prices are reasonable and the place is cozy and cute and very clean. Service was great. Can t wait to come back!
