Today was our first time to come to the cottage, we were very much looking forward to having breakfast there and unfortunately was a very bad experience. First off there was only one server and too many customers. We ordered the crab cake Benedict and the shrimp and grits, both were pretty bad. Crab cake was full of corn and carrots which tasted frozen to me, this was probably the worst crab cake I had so far, the sauce on top tasted weird as well, the potatoes that came to the side were burnt to the point there was black pieces in them. The shrimp and grits didn t taste right at all and it had clumps. And we ended up paying almost $60 for breakfast with a coffee and a Bloody Mary.
This place was highly recommended from a lot of people but based on my experience today, I don t think I ll be coming back
