We went for dinner wasn't too bad! The Cheeseburger was surprisingly decent! The schnitzel was also pretty good.
I had the Hazy IPA. It was good! If it isn't a regular brew then it should be!!
The staff were great and it is well presented and set out.
My only complaint is the food is a little pricey $20 for a cheeseburger and chips is a little steep.
Always a great meal at the Australian Hotel and Brewery. Good location for family gatherings with a relaxed friendly atmosphere. The staff are always nice and helpful. Lots of free parking. Book in advance for special occasions such as Mother s or Father s Day.
Had a wonderful lunch with friends. The kids got to enjoy the holiday program and do plaster painting.
Really yummy Easter dessert which was a Hot Cross Bun Pudding.

I have been there multiple times. The food is always great and great atmosphere. Love music on Saturday. Their steak is juicy and tender.
The menu seems like it has a lot on it but there really isn't a lot to choose from. There isn't a standard el-cheapo steak on the menu which I believe is a pub staple. Great playground area for the kids. Plenty of TVs so you can watch the game in the corner of your eye while pretending to talk to the wife. All in all a great place to hang out at.
Out of all the pubs in the area, they serve the best steak and chips! The mac and cheese we had today was delicious too! The staff are always so friendly. I also love the high ceilings inside!
Now, this is a nice hotel... well was a nice hotel. We have been long time customers of the brewery for at least 5 years. It had a great vibe. Great food. Still has great customer service and excellent staff.
Tonight, was very disappointing. We ordered steaks x3, barramundi and a pizza. All were sub standard. The chef needs to pick up their game. It's no excuse to be dishing out food like that. I think next time, we will spend our money somewhere else and just come for drinks.

Large pub with different zones. There is an excellent play area and zone for families with a playground for both younger and older kids. This area can get very loud when busy. Pub food is available but you can also get a coffee in the morning when they open at 10am. Every time I have gone there the place has been very clean.
Nice laid back atmosphere, food is also quite good.....the ambience is also quite good....the staff here are very friendly as well...the ambience looks amazing as well and there are plenty of space for parking as well...definately one of the best pub around Box hill
I kind of don't want to leave such a positive review for a place, because I don't want others to discover what a total gem this place it. But it's so well deserved. Amazing kids area, such yummy food so well priced, the whole venue is just beautiful as were all the staff. Cannot wait to come back!
