A very fancy and cozy place to eat. Great place to go for special occasions. The food is absolutely divine and the service is excellent. The cooks do an excellent job and the waiters/waitresses are incredible as well. Everyone there cares about what they do and I could not ask for a better experience when I go.

I love this place. I only make it there once or twice a year, and the wait staff remember my wife and me. The atmosphere is cozy, the staff is polite, courteous helpful and professional. The food is delicious. I am not a fan of mushrooms, but when I go there, I order the mushrooms. I've never ordered anything from here I didn't like.

This place is amazing! From the moment we stepped in the door, through the last bite of dessert we were treated as friends and served some of the best food ever. I honestly will never forget the experience we had. We were looking at all the pictures inside when Jim (who is the owner) took the time to tell us about them. Every single thing we ate or drank was noticeably fresh and was carefully prepared.

What they have at the Artichoke Restaurant and Bar is rare these days! If you are anywhere near Langley Oklahoma, you need to treat yourself to an amazing experience.

Are you searching for the best restaurant at Grand Lake? Hands-down, it is The Artichoke! You will be delighted by the owners Jim and Dianne Sellars warm hospitality and their consistent high standard of dining excellence.

6 years passed since I had last visited the Artichoke. A business meeting at Grand Lake landed me near the restaurant last night. I wondered if the food was just as good as I had remembered. The verdict? SUPERB! It has simply improved with time.

Happy 14th birthday, Artichoke!

Good food, eclectic atmosphere (this is a restaurant in an old house). Staff is nice but somewhere 'invasive'. Beware: food is more pricey than you might expect. Anticipate $25-$35 per plate if you're buying a daily special or something that isn't explicitly cheap, like soup. Overall we had a good experience, but my wallet is crying a little.

Very nice atmosphere, meal and great service. Must try the appetizer stuffed mushrooms (dip the bread in the oil, trust me!) Sea Bass special was delicious. Good recommendations from the wait staff. Fresh, original and good!

Great place for a date! Showed up here hoping to have a nice dinner date on a Friday evening, didn't realize it was the type of place you make reservations for considering it's in Langley, OK and in a house, but after being seated in a homey yet classy atmosphere I completely understood why. The food and drinks were amazing! The owners were sweet and very involved in the service and making sure to check on everyone and crack a few jokes with their customers. I was so happy they were able to squeeze us in to enjoy this lovely little place!

The "special " was king crab legs for $43 but you only get one leg!! The bread was hard and tough to eat. The butter for the bread was crumbly. All of it was extremely salty (including the people running the place) and way overpriced. If you decide to eat here , do yourself a favor and ask for prices before you order any of the "specials". Lessoned learn and we will not be back

It was my first time there since I m from Florida. I d gotten the blackened salmon, and let me tell you being a Floridian the fish out here was amazing. Everyone was so kind as to take the orders and to explain the menus. Definitely will be back if I m in town.

To crowded and loud. Definitely not social distancing. Very disappointed. Made reservations and still had to wait a long time for our table. Was not impressed with the food it was bland and not worth what we paid for. Won t be coming back.

Went here on a special occasion and it did not disappoint.

Service: Amazing. The hospitality was something else. Even if the food was bad (which it wasn't), I'd still go back.

Food: Great, from start to finish. To start, we got a crab cake appetizer. It was paid with a sauce, onions and cherry tomatoes. Went extremely well together. The sea bass species was absolutely delicious. I could eat nothing but that for days. The cobbler was divine.

Price: Moderately, worth every penny. Every item was well-prepared and delicious.

Located in an old home, the dining room is capable of small or large groups but make your weekend reservations early because this is popular with our local community. Come a little early and enjoy the cozy bar just inside the front door. Plenty of parking.

Disappointing.

Disappointing.

Liked :
waitress, butter w/ green stuff, salads, roasted red pepper soup and bread.

Didn't like :
place smelled musty like the 100 year old place it is
both ribeyes we had was solid gristle with about a half dollar sized glob of fat in the center of both ribeyes(if they were ribeyes)
the third meat dish was smoked prime rib huge piece of meat that looked boiled and had about as much fat as meat...as far as flavor all meat was subpar

3 meals no appetizers came to $125.00 not including tip.
all three of us said we wouldnt go back.

NOT FINE DINING ..old decrepit place and food taste the same

One of our most favorite places! We have different entrees but, regardless of our choice, they always come out perfectly done. The restaurant is housed in an old home which, to our view, makes it all the more eclectic. Seating is available in the bar or dining room and we've done both. The bar is made up of a couple of high-tops and a handful of chairs at the bar itself. It's very cozy; the owner also functions as bartender and is always hospitable (and ready with a joke since we go there quite often). We've eaten the small filet many times, the steak soup, crab legs (the Tuesday night special), the pasta special, many salads and a couple of desserts. We look forward to going to The Artichoke and, without fail, are never disappointed.

We were in town for a girls weekend at an area resort. We have heard great things about this place so after looking at the menu online we decided to give it a try. Their website stated that they have COVID inspired seating . When we arrived, none of the staff were wearing masks and we were less than a foot from two other tables. The wait staff seemed to judge us because we arrived and wore masks until we sat at our table. Prior to starting a woman came up to us and took a photo without asking. Then processed to ask all of our first AND last names then spelled them into her recording on her phone. Really strange and unnecessary. We ordered The Artichoke as an appetizer. It was undercooked. The stuffed shrimp were blank and tad a mound of paprika on each one. Overall did not live up to my expectations for a nice dinner experience.
