Clean and tidy. The first thing I noticed was a good atmosphere. Food was good and the service was great too. Presentation of food was appealing. I would still go there for something a little different. We stopped there for a quick dinner on the way to my friend's house nearby.

Went before a concert with the boss, my wife, and had a long wait. However, the staff was very friendly and seated us at the chef's bar (highly recommended) as soon as possible.

The food is outstanding, fresh, and artistically infused with flavor. Outstanding experience. This is now the go to place when in downtown Phoenix.

Don t make a reservation here unless you get every bit of info from the person you talked to. Called 10 days ago and made a reservation for 11 people, get here and magically there s no reservation. What a complete let down and terrible experience with no resolution.

The food and service was good. The food selection was different but great. The only critique is that the food pairings left a little too be desired. For example, we would have preferred that the meatloaf and mashed potatoes also include a vegetable. Overall, the dinner was great though. The chef's platter (meat/cheese) plate was great. The dinner was good too.

We went on a Friday night and made a reservation via open table. The atmosphere was great, I loved the decorations and the open concept, it didn't feel crowded even though it was packed. We ordered the spinach & artichoke dip, which was AMAZING. I order the salmon and it was a little dry but overall good. The drinks were really good as well, I am not a really big drinker so they accommodated my drink so it was that strong, which I really appreciated. The drink was called the Blood Orange Paloma, a must try. It was a $100 tab for 1 appetizer, 2 entrees and 4 drinks. Which is what I'd expect for a place like this.

Wait staff for our large party was great (a dinner for conference attendees). Food was good. It's a busy place & I think the size of our group was too much for them to handle. I've done event/banquet serving and we should have never had to More

The food was tasty and the ambience nice. Very noisy during busy hours though! But youll enjoy it. Parking can be tricky but if you're feeling like manifesting the perfect spot you could snag one on the side street! Enjoy.

Fantastic scratch kitchen! Smaller portions but high quality and excellent flavor. Front of restaurant atmosphere is so-so, but the patio and back are fabulous. Great place for a business lunch or for a high-class yet casual dining experience.

Absolutely delicious in every way possible. We'd had a bit of a bummer that evening before this, but it really helped perk us right back up. I would eat here every day if I had the means. So good. We'll be back!

Tried this place for the first time with my little sister who raved about it and I was very pleased with the experience. All of the waiters were incredibly nice and very humble. They made you feel like home. I will definitely be returning.

The atmosphere is fantastic, but that s where the good experience ended. We had to ask for our appetizer plates to be cleared, several requests for drink refills went completely forgotten and only after multiple reminders to the waiter did it happen. And the burgers we ordered were all burnt and very dry. Not worth the price and very disappointed, especially with so many positive reviews on here.

The food was fantastic. Our server was horribly neglectful. All of the other tables were served well except ours. Almost makes me feel like our friend in the wheel chair was the reason our table received such poor service.

I went there once and it might have been an offday so make sure you take this with a grain of salt. The service was great but the food was alright. Given the hype surrounding the place I wasn't too impressed.

I ordered a Meatball and Rigatoni and I also got the Salmon entree. The meatball & rigatoni was good but it wasn't amazing. Like, I could make a similar standing meal. As for the Salmon entree, the root vegetables were roasted well, the sauce was also good, but the salmon itself was very dry.

I'll definitely try the place out again soon, though.

I've been here many times and it has always been great. The food is amazing, and is reasonably priced for the quality and location. Highly recommend the oysters. Bring some friends and get a charcuterie board. You won't be disappointed. They also have 1/2 off on bottles of wine every Thursday. You can't beat that.

The FRC group of restaurants in the Valley is consistently good, and Arrogant Butcher is no exception. The space is beautiful. Dark wood floors and really good lighting. Good lighting is key to a relaxing space. The food was good, not great. This is a meat and potato place, but if you want the best steaks, go to a steakhouse. This has much more charm. Portions are large. Service is friendly and attentive. I was mischarged last time (extra drink was added), and the waiter said it was mixed up from another table. I bought the excuse, don't think it was intentional. Overall, this is a good chill vibe spot. Not a raucous atmosphere but a place for a good substantial meal and good conversation.

Over all it was a terrible evening spent at the Arrogant Butcher. From the food to the service to the atmosphere It was a just pretty bad. When I sent back one dish because there was something included that WAS NOT on the menu and I have some food restrictions it was returned soggy from the wet rag they used to wipe said item off plate.

Went here for some drinks and appetizers in Oct. 2019. It was after 8 pm on Friday so outdoor seating was a good option for us. The fresh oysters were very good, small but very fresh tasting with a great briney flavor. The steak salad was tasty with steak cooked medium rare. The buffalo chicken thighs were too heavily breaded and tasted greasy. The service could have been more attentive as we were waiting for drink reills, including water on 2 occasions.

Very pricey for the small portions. Good food, nice atmosphere, when you order meatloaf it is a nice size, small amount of potatoes, no vegetable or other side, yes, really. Otherwise a great place to eat. Seriously, no salad either....

Horrible customer service. Called on Christmas Eve to verify hours, and was assured there was seating available for dinner. After walking from our hotel room, the hostess turns us away because there are no (non-reserved) tables available. Why was this information withheld when we called?

An easy menu to choose from and an extensive list of wines and beers makes the decision process easy. For guests who like cocktails the bar serves specialty drinks with flair (think egg-white and lots of use of bitters). I went for the beef short rib stew which was amazing. The meatloaf is apparently very popular as it usually sells out nightly so arrive early if you want to try to dish. Make sure you start your meal with the pretzel ball and cheese fondue. Wow!
