I stopped in here to find a gift for my daughter. There is a wide array of products and prices. I was drawn to the art, and appreciated that prints were available in multiple formats and prices so I could choose something that fit my budget and packing restrictions. I chose three mini-canvases and when I checked out, the woman running the store informed me that she was the artist on two pieces and a man she had just been speaking with was the artist of the third! She offered to bring the piece back to him to sign and I gladly accepted. She also told me the story behind another piece, which I loved hearing. ALAC is right by the convention center so if you are in town for a convention this is the perfect place to stop for a gift.

Went there at the hours they were supposedly open. I needed to work on a personal project, pay for parking, and it cost me time. I received a call a couple hours later be the person who was incharge of opening up the art center. It was an inconvenience and you should follow bussines hours that are listed or have an alternate person that can either leave a note or open and watch the center.

Beautiful artistry. We follow Pierston Doctor and love his special kind of art. Very different angles and motion in his unusual yet classic nature of his work. We find any excuse to go and buy his work.!!

I've been looking for a place with great art that represents our culture of Mexicanos, and I finally found one! The only downside to this place is that it needs to be bigger for the art that they have.

This store has beautiful items. I went there at 11:14 AM (posted hours are 11AM - 6PM) and it was closed. I waited for a few minutes as I was on my lunch hour but no one ever showed up. It's really disappointing as they do have beautiful artwork.

I went to an art showing here this weekend and i was pretty impressed with the gallery and the support that I saw for the community. I would definitely visit future showings and events here.

I am most unhappy. My husband and I purchased several items at the store, including a crucifix. We asked an artist there, Carlos, to do additional work on the crucifix to transform it into a Spanish crucifix. He agreed. We spent quite a bit of $ at the store. Nearly 6 weeks later? No one will answer the phone, the voice mails are full, Carlos is AWOL, and we have no crucifix. And we already paid for it. What to do? Phone calls don't go through. I am most disappointed.

Forewarning for out of towners: you'll need to download an app (Parkmobile) to pay for parking on the streets of downtown.

Amazing hidden gem in Downtown Phoenix. A must for visitors and locals alike.

Filled to the brim with local artists work, the Latino Arts and Cultural Center is tucked back from the street in a nondescript storefront. On my first and only visit a kind man took the time to greet us and point out some of the artwork and goods in the gift shop area. He directed us to follow around the shop and back into the gallery.

This place is cavernous. There are so many pieces on display here, all of them unique and moving. Raw talent and unique mediums grace the walls. It even appears as though they have live performances on a stage in one of the rooms.

If you are visiting Phoenix, do stop by. If you're a local take a look and bring your friends from out of town!

A cultural and arts center where artists can share their stories, their art and crafts.
The center has had some challenges. However, times have changed. Open door.
If you're in downtown area take a visit to center.

Very beautiful place in the heart of downtown Phoenix. Range of artists, mediums, and accessories. It feels a littke crowded in the gift/art shop because of so many things they sell. The gallery space adjacent to the shop is good
