As a thirteen year employee of the American Board of Anesthesiology, I can truly say this has been the greatest job of my professional career. The collegial culture, the flexible work schedule, and the benefits make this a fantastic place to work! The environment is dynamic, collaborative and engaging. No two days have been the same! The work is challenging yet rewarding and propels staff to grow personally and professionally. When you give up to eight hours a day of your time and life s force to an organization, you want to not only enjoy the experience, but you want to be assured that it is for a worthy, fulfilling and impactful cause. And that is the ABA in a nut shell. It is a place where staff respects one another, laughs together and supports each other to ensure the delivery of quality work, not just for ourselves, but for our Board and the physicians we serve.

Having only worked at the ABA for a few weeks, I m very impressed. Being in a work environment where everyone is friendly and always willing to help makes the job a lot easier. The mission of the ABA is what initially drew me in, but I ve also had the most fun during weekly staff events, participating in the wellness program and learning all about what the board does. This is definitely a great place to work!

I have worked for the ABA for 5 years and it seems like time has really flown by here. Working in HR, I get a great view of how the organization functions and drives the mission of the ABA forward. I have never worked for an organization that works so hard to advance its mission and serve its constituents, all while creating a work environment that cultivates trust and fairness. The ABA is dedicated in the quest to ensure anesthesiologists practice medicine at the highest levels by providing excellent patient care. As an employee of this organization for the last 5 years, I have witnessed the Board of Directors and ABA staff work together diligently to achieve this mission. Great organization to work for!
I have worked at the ABA for 4 years and have not only enjoyed my work, but also creating relationships with all my coworkers. The ABA does a great job at cultivating a respectful work environment. Everyone is very approachable, at every level, and there is great communication. They also make an effort to create time and experiences for the staff to get to know each other better and grow their personal relationships. I feel that everyone knows their purpose and the importance of their work in regards to the Board's objectives, which helps us to be more invested in our work and the organization.
