One of the most wonderful hotels I ve ever stayed in! The staff was so friendly and the hotel was stunning. Amazing for a relaxing getaway in wine country!

Beautiful, quiet, and serene getaway with quality service, food, and rooms. The rooms are cozy and updated, including large fire place, outdoor space, huge tub, and functional dining area.

The service was what made this trip absolutely 5 stars!
The staff at the Allison are incredibly respectful regarding distancing, safety, and cleanliness. They provided coffee to our room in the mornings, and upon arrival champagne for my husband's birthday.

The food is delicious! The menu was smaller due to the Jory being closed when we stayed, but the in-room dining selection was delicious. The wine list is extensive and the staff are great at making recommendations at any price range.

We can't wait to book our next trip!

Extremely disappointing spa experience--will never return or recommend.

Due to a technical glitch at a winery just before our spa appointments, we arrived late to The Allison Spa. We called and explained that we'd be running a bit behind and apologized. Once we arrived, we were promptly escorted back--but each of our services was cut short due to our late arrival. Understandable; there were appointments immediately after ours.

However, it was never communicated to us that our appointments would be cut short (my 60 minute appointment cut down to 30 minutes). I was not offered an alternate option (a shorter, less expensive facial, like the 45 minute option). When I was expected to pay for the full 60 minutes, I politely expressed my disappointment in the lack of communication. I would have chosen a different service, or at the very least I would have appreciated the transparency ahead of time. The manager was defensive and unwilling to compromise.

Anyone acquainted with a high standard of customer service would know that something as simple as a comped drink at the bar, a discount on a future service, or any sort of compensation to make up for charging full price on a half-baked treatment is a great way to handle this lack of transparency. We were late, yes. But if we're still expected to pay for the full luxury experience when we did not receive it, we should at least be notified ahead of time.

Our group had flown as far as London to be together for this week. We'd had these appointments booked for months, and had been looking forward to our hour at the spa, even though none of the additional amenities (sauna, etc) were available due to Covid restrictions. The night before, the six of us had dinner at The Allison, ordering the tasting menu and several bottles of wine, and I highly regret that this hotel is where we spent the bulk of our money.

The Allison was absolutely amazing. The rooms were incredible and all had beautiful views of the grounds. Bed was very comfortable. Separate soaker bath tub absolutely made the trip. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was great and accommodated our last minute bookings. My only complaint - no coffee in the room. Although free coffee was available just a short walk from reception, sometimes I like my coffee in my pajamas which was not an option.

Fantastic experience! I felt restored and relaxed afterwards.

My GF and I went there for brunch and had the Salmon Lox Benedict and House Burger with Truffle Fries. Couple of Bellini's to wash it down. We were warmly greeted by Charlotte at the front desk and the young man who brought us water when we sat down. Our waitress was warm, attentive, helpful, and prompt. Food was great; left us feeling full but not gross, generous portions, and very tasty. It's also hard to beat the environment of a very well manicured, clean, and well designed grounds.

Had lunch at Jory, the restaurant inside the Inn. Amazingly good and the prices match the quality of the food $$$. Would love to stay here for a spa weekend, If I thought we could afford it... Maybe the offer off-season specials... We worth looking for a deal if you can find one...

Phenomenal resort. Excellent service, and beautiful rooms with your own fireplace.
