The Akmani Legian Review

I find it a bit strange that for a 9-day stay, the entire price must be paid in advance. The staff is consistently friendly but the price is not fully justified.

A Hotel at Bali - Legian street with classic style room, just love the classic room

We were staying in your hotel for 3 days and I have shared my flight itinerary before we reach the hotel, and it was clearly mentioned about our return flight time as 11:15 PM. During the initial check-in, nobody informed us about the checkout time, so we were thinking to check out at 8 PM on the last day as our airport drop was scheduled at 8 PM.
When we were checking out on the last day around 8 PM and that's when your reception people told me that I didn't check out on time and have to pay extra. See, I don't have a problem in paying extra money but my argument is that why didn't they mention this clearly when we were checking in on the first day? and on top of this, one person from reception came to my room around morning on the last day to inform me about my airport drop cab timings and why didn't he tell us about the check out time?
Overall, because of the last day incident - our whole stay experience is ruined and to be honest, I won't stay in your hotel next time when I visit Bali again and I won't recommend your hotel to my friends either.
Your receptionist/the manager I believe he is not professional at all, and all he was mentioning about your hotel policy instead of listening to our feedback, I agree your hotel policy is checkout at 12 PM and our mistake is we didn't read it line by line. But in this kind of situation, you have to listen to customers and take some decision which should be in favor of both the side. Also after paying money, he allowed us to stay for only 20 minutes even though we mentioned to him that we are planning to use the hotel spa.
Apologies for the long feedback but I want this to be highlighted so that next time it will be a benefit to any of your hotel customers.

Strategic location. The hotel is not too big, but the facilities are quite complete.

Spent a wonderfull week thanks to the lovely team. Didn't get the opportunity to enjoy much the pool gym and spa because of busy schedule but big up to the FO and F&B team for they great effort of smiling and consistency during this tough period of low occupiency.

Special mention to Ophie (FO), Athi (F&B), and Hasana for they warm caring and example conduct at work.

Looking forward for coming back.

The hotel location is nearby legian beach,skygarden, market, cafes and restaurants. Staffs are friendly and polite. The hotel is quite beautiful and homy.

Amazing place at the main Street of legian. Great choice of eat outs around but the restaurant at the hotel is not so great. Indian food joint is at a walking distance and so is medical store which makes life very easy. Spa at the hotel is great. Roof top swimming pool and bar may not be breath taking but is surely fun.

Stayed here for 9 nights. Rooms were nice and clean and service was really good. Breakfast was great aswell.
Only issue was that the music was always too loud.

Very good experience at Akmani Legian at this price range . I would say it's better than my expectations and make me more confident in hotels in Bali. The staff are sweet and always helpful. Their rooftop swimming pool is good too. Strongly recommended.

A good hotel, great rooms and the service is excellent. The area is between the nightlife of Kuta, therefore a lot of music until the late hours (this we found the downside but each has its own taste)

Top swim up bar on rooftop and staff friendly and great spot. Morning breakfasts okay and staff helpful and happy. Unfortunately the front of house staff NOT at all helpful happy or friendly. Stayed a week and refused service for taxis, no return change for in room meals- $500 000 rp by end of week and double charged for airport transport- even though requested and inquired to confirm already paid day before!! Even prebooked driver not happy about service, argued on our behalf for refund and then suggested to give bad review

Good room, good service and good breakfast here..
You can enjoy around kuta and legian by walk ..
And if you want to go to the night club.. this hotel is perfect place for you

Very clean and very friendly Staff, the only missing thing why i took one star away is that they dont have that much options for Vegans at the Breakfast Buffet, and no other alternative for milk

A beautiful place. Idyllic setting for the lower pool surrounded by vegetation while the one located on the rooftop offers a view of the rooftops of the city. The hotel is very well located and allows you to get around easily (about 10 minutes from the beach and in one of the liveliest streets of Legian).

Nice hotel with comfortable bed , clean room & big bathroom with a bath. Hotel is at a good location on main strip. Friendly staff.

In the busy Kuta Legian street ,prepare to walk or bike

It is very convenient location. Comfortable and nice rooftop pool. It is awhile since it deserved 4 stars. More like 3. The pictures make the room look much bigger than reality. That all said I enjoyed my stay.

Had to change rooms due to a mould smell. The hotel could be very noisy at times with children running in the corridors. Breakfast was good value, however they allow smoking in the buffet area which can be annoying.

The staffs and their services are incredible. When I will visit Bali again, I am gonna stay here every time.

Very busy and chaotic. We are happy here only 3 nights in transit to Lovina.

A nice hotel located on the very busy street close to Kuta beach. Room was big and clean. Breakfast was vary from Indonesian to Western style which is included in the room price. Staffs are really friendly. Parking was a bit limited. Overall, it's a nice place to stay in Bali!

the room was great the staff couldn,t do enough breakfast was good, the only down side was the beer prices at the rooftop bar was double the price compared to the surrounding establishments, wasn,t that cold and no coolers to put them in.also wanted mango cocktail but there was no mangos ,(2 days ), other than that great stay, thanks.

Nice rooms, in the center of everything and close to many shops

Akmani Hotel is located in the center of the tourist crowd in Legian. The mattress is soft, calm because of the distance from the traffic crowd. just walk a few minutes to get to the place to hang out like VIP ai, bounty or sky garden (when here sky garden again in yellow tape seal, in front of parked tactical Brimob vehicles). In front of the Akmani Hotel, there is a home-cooked food stall with comfortable and affordable seating, I like to have English breakfast here in the afternoon.

Loved this hotel. Near clubs and bars but it's quiet inside the hotel. Good service, nice breakfast, spacious room.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean room and pools. Cheap prices for room service and alcohol. Close to the beach and all the action. Breakfast is decent with sufficient variety.

The hotel is amazing, two incredible pools, breakfast a lot of variety and many establishments near and a short walk to the beach.

Myself and three other friends stayed at Akmani for two weeks during May and before arrival asked if we could book rooms next door to each other. Akmani were more than happy to go through with our request. The hotel staff were always so kind, saying hello every time we walked past, always happy to clean our rooms and help us out. Transport through the hotel's service was excellent, all of the drivers were very kind and we decided to stay with one of them for the entire duration of our trip. The only thing that wasn't outstanding was the downstairs pool which due to it's location is constantly in shade and therefore is quite cold, even during the middle of summer. If it were heated it would have made for a better stay but we still utilised the upstairs pool bar every day. Thank you Akmani for a perfect stay!

Great hotel in a central location. Super clean and comfortable rooms for a reasonable price. The staff are friendly and most bookings come with the free breakfast; which is pretty basic but passable. Would stay here again.

Good hotel with all the necessities, great service, central location, fair price, two pools, swim-up bar and freezing cold air con. Rooms were okay. Minor issues such as loose shower handle that would fall off and over pressured taps were excusable, recommend staying here.

The room with the elevator goes down far, the road must be quite far too

BEST HOTEL EVER! Loved every moment of staying here. Excellent customer service, cheep prices and a beautifully breath-taking hotel. We were so sad to leave this hotel because it made us feel like we were in paradise. Cant wait to come back and stay here again.

I am a Taiwanese. I found that the lock on the window broke down and lived on the second floor. Therefore, the complicated environment outside is very likely to be a safety problem. I was not willing to change the house at the beginning, and I had to change it for a long time. The equipment of the hotel is old and the water is running. Salty, towels are very old, two stars are assigned in Taiwan, agoda google has four stars, it s too bad, don t be fooled at all.

No window needed in the room. Changed the building in front of it. It was 1 night anyway, so I spent the night facing the other side of the swimming pool. The inside faced the other side of the pool. Sisters and older brothers TT Everyone say hello during tanning^^ The roof bar is in the pool, so it doesn't seem to be for water play Breakfast is served on the rooftop. I used a restaurant on the 1st floor in a close and suitable location.

Nice, clean, warm water, polite staff..... can't go 5 because the sound insulation, u can hear your next door

Very good location located in the middle of Legian street. You can go to places in Legian only walking distance. The room was okay, so comfortable and they give me upgrade, thank you! But you have to improve some such as the breakfast and the park spaces, also please make an access directly to the lobby. It helps us a lot to bring the luggage since they don't have bell boy to help us bring th luggage. One more thing, please upgrade the check in time, I have to wait long time to check in. But overall, it was a nice stay.

Very nice and clean hotel. Nice deluxe rooms, I would advise against all other rooms as they are in the basement with a view of a wall. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Great rooftop bar with pool and beautiful view. The pool in the inner courtyard is also great, but unfortunately you hardly get any sun here.
There is a spa area and its own restaurant with very good food. Breakfast is ok. Overall, a good address in Kuta.
