Great country pub and a lovely place to stop off after a six mile walk! We booked Sunday lunch here and it was absolutely delicious! We had the garlic pizette to share to start which was lovely and then we all had a different roast. Gravy and Yorkshire s were amazing! All washed down with a lovely bottle of Malbec it was a perfect Sunday afternoon. Service was efficient and they welcomed feedback which was good. We will be back in the next few weeks that s for sure!

Really good Sunday lunch. Prompt service and quality ingredients. Slightly disappointed that for the price we only got one slice of beef and the food was warm at best. We did enjoy though.

Fantastic pub! This was our first time visiting, and the staff was friendly and attentive. They took our drinks and food order quickly and drinks came so fast. The garden is so lovely and everything is spaced with hand sanitizer was everywhere. The place was packed so it did take a while to get our food but it was hot and so yummy! Definitely recommend the onion rings and the pies! We can t wait to visit again.

Real country pub. Food and service seems to have improved greatly. We had a fantastic Sunday roast at the weekend after a long walk round Abinger and Friday Street. Pub is well spaced out with attentive table service. Roast dinner was very tasty and plenty of it, just what we needed. Good wine that doesn t break the bank.

Very enjoyable visit on a glorious sunny day. The food was delicious and service from Alex was perfect. Had a table in the garden which we booked in advance as it is popular for good reason. Thoroughly recommend a visit.
