Known for its rich french tradition and activities, alliance francaise is a wonderf spot to hang out even for non french intrested people..
The canteen here serves very sumptuous food.. especially their brownies are very very good.. chai is very good too.. dont miss it .. thanks to bhai for the lovely food

Went for a play at the Alliance Francaise of Madras auditorium. Very good space.

Cool place to watch stage plays and shows. Place is a bit congested but still it's ok and they also have a decent canteen.

Best place to learn French. They concentrate on all round development of the language and do various activities to better understand and learn the concepts.

Best experience ever ! Had an amazing time learning the language and a lot about the French culture. Hats off to the Alliance for having amazing teachers like Madame Asha Isaac. She is the best for me. No disrespect to other teachers but for me she is the best, taught me 3 levels and had a great learning experience.

A nice place to learn french language and explore about french traditions..it has a nice auditorium and a nice library with lots of french books and multimedia collections.

The best destination for anyone who is aspiring to learn French. They have structured levels upto six and one could take them step by step in a trip monthly basis at an affordable fees. The certificates are issued by them are not actually recognised. Good collection of books in French and a few English in their library. You could give a try at their coffee shop of the pastries. Ample car parking and centrally located. Good crowd.

Linked with Franch embassy . Good place to study french.. Franch govt exams are conducted here.. Weekdays and weekend batches are taken..

I'm a theatre artist and i gi to this place to watch shows and perform. Ample parking and place to sit around and an amazing little Yusuf Bhai's canteen with super awesome quick bites. Chicken role, Chocolate cake and some amazing dishes named in French are a must try.

It has a remarkable performance space, a rather differently cozy & friendly food & drink culture; has been a beautiful hang- out in the centre of the city for generations of theatre and concert- goers, interesting- culture- hide-out inhabitors!!

Good Auditorium.... Very chilling AC..inside the hall backside there's is Provision for washroom....

It can accomdation around 200plus seats...

There's a cafeteria in the first floor.....

Worst place. No respect for anyone. Please don't go there. Place is nice. People are bad. VERY BAD

Don't learn French from here. First of all, I waited for 3 months for the classes to commence for which I paid long back. They keep postponing. Reception people are very impolite. Finally when classes started, I had to miss one class but my trainer was very impolite when asked for help. She (I don't want to mention any name and hurt an individual) blamed me for having missed the class but she was never willing to help me. I hate this place. My dream is to go to Canada and I badly want to learn French. I need some help. But who could??? 100% disappointing place af. I badly need an alternative place for learning French.

Visited AF again after nearly a decade, nothing much has changed, the same tranquil environment, polite staff, health measures have been taken to check if visitors have Covid. Hoping to complete all French levels this time. The best place to learn French.

This is a cultural organization that has an extremely relaxed vibe. There is always some cultural activity on its calendar. The food at the canteen is great!

Best place in the city to learn French. Comes with a kickass canteen that serves some amazing cakes. Also hosts a ton of music events and theatre events. Mostly open to all. Check their website for updates

It is a quaint place with a warm atmosphere. You can chill out and let yourself go in these classes.

One of the worst service from an institution. You can not call for any query even if you call the people incharge are very rude to respond to your queries..

Great place to learn and get a peek into the French culture

Calm and surreal. The entrance is immediately next to the turning. Make sure you take it, othwrise it might be difficult to turn around as it's a one way!

Premier institute for French in Chennai. It is one of the most happening places for Short plays and other such events.

I love the place , but I'm giving only 4 stars since the lift there isn't operational. Being a disabled person, I've to think twice about attending programmes of my interest that happen in Alliance. It'll be nice if the authorities there can do something about the lift!

The hot lemon tea in the canteen is very soothing during rains
