We chose this dealer due to poor customer reviews ...

We chose this dealer due to poor customer reviews for Forest River dealers in our area. Our new trailer had multiple minor warranty repairs that needed to be done and two major, electrical issue in the slide and leaking air conditioner.

We dropped our trailer off on 9/12 and were told that they would trouble shoot the issues listed the following Monday (in two days). Two weeks later we were told by the manager, Mary that they only do extended warranty work not factory warranty. She spent 45 minutes making her case against the company and said that she would not work with them.

We called Forest River, spoke to manager the same day, he was very helpful and said to get him the estimate, three photos, and he would issue a check to us directly if we did not want to use a Forest River dealer. He also stated that he could speak to the shop directly to expedite part delivery. Mary begrudgingly agreed to do the work and again refused to speak to Forest River but promised to get us an updated punch list as soon as possible so we could decide which jobs we wanted to do and they would order parts accordingly.

On 10/15 we had yet to receive the updated punch list so my husband called to let them know we needed our trailer back by 10/23 as we had a trip planned. Our priority items were the leaking AC and the slide that blows a fuse every time it is brought in. The tech Ben was very helpful, called and said he would have the AC issue resolved by 10/21 and that they would have to order a part for the slide. My husband called on 10/22 to arrange pick up and make an appointment for the slide. Mary refused to make an appointment, and wouldn't divulge the cost of the work completed over the phone. My husband would have to drive the hour to pick it up and find out then.

After weeks of frustration, broken promises, and lack of customer service, I called to "resolve" the issue. Mary refused to provide the cost of work, refused to provide a punchlist (although her tech said it was complete last week), and refused to allow me to speak to another staff member and said the owner was not there. I was obviously frustrated and upst, asking the same questions over and over again. She then put me on speaker phone, had an unnamed woman tell me that she would not help me, that she would only talk to the person on the invoice, and then shamed me by saying all of her techs were standing around listening to our conversation and hung up. I called back to get Mary and simply asked for the owner's name and number. She would not provide me with either and hung up on me three times.

We have never been treated so horrendously by any business. We are cash paying customers that simply wanted our trailer fixed. After weeks of not being able to use our trailer (6 weeks), we are now in a position to go on a month long trip across the U.S. without a functioning slide for our living area. Not only did they treat us with disrespect, but they also ruined a trip we have been looking forward to for months after my husband recovered from a bone marrow transplant. We do NOT recommend bringing your trailer here, the work will most likely not get done and they will abuse you through the process. Literally in unbelief . . .

We took our trailer there for a heater repair and generator repair. They fixed it quickly, were very nice, and the fees were fair. They called us before doing anything and gave us estimates. Will definitely go there again.
