Definitely the place to get a rental and get onto the lake!

If you come here before, you should at least once try taking a Stand-Up-Paddleboard. It may look intimidating, but it's actually pretty stable. (Make sure you ask the good folks there how to size the paddle to your height. That makes it easier)

Awesome location, nice staff, good prices. However, some quality control/ maintenance needs to be done on the paddle boards.
Maybe the lack of maintenance is why the prices are so low, but I'm not sure it's worth it.

The first 5 times I went, it was fine. But the past 2 times I went here the paddle boards left pieces of fiberglass in my husbands and my forearms from when we had to climb back up on it after falling off.
The first time I didn't realize what it was, and just contributed it to bug bites.
The second time, I looked closer and saw 50+ little clear fibers sticking out of my arm. Tried using tape to get it out, but in the end just had to deal with the prickly irritation for a day or two.

I hate the inflatable paddle boards and much prefer the fiberglass boards, but they should definitely be more proactive with the refinishing of the boards.

Maybe they've fixed it by now, but since I can't know for sure without risking more fiberglass thorns, it's hard to justify returning when we could just try one of the other 100 paddle board locations on the river.

Great rental spot, lots of parking in the near by area. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They have a lot of equipment to rent from. The dock is nice and large. The equipment is in good shape as well. Overall great value. I would recommend it to those looking to get some time out on Town Lake as I will call it forever.
