Went a few days ago and order was wrong so my kids didnt eat it, waitress would just disappear, no refills nothing, didnt even want to bother asking to fix the order. We waited so long to see her come back we said whatever and packed it up and paid and left. I usually love texas roadhouse but after that, i dont know anymore.
Ileana is a top notch server, one of the best. When you go there ask for her. Steaks were on point.....

Great steakhouse! The place is awesome, but it does get a bit crowded. Make sure you call ahead. For a restaurant that supports the troops, it was a little disappointing that they only offer a military discount on Mondays.

A favorite restaurant of ours. We have a favorite booth and the waitstaff are always spot on with service and attentiveness. The food is always good. The ice tea is perfect. In peak hours it can be loud so if this is an issue for you, I suggest you go early or give the crowd time to thin out. Enjoy!

I'm absolutely done with this place! Between finding other food items in my meal that didn't belong and getting ice cold food! It's not worth it. The only thing you can guarantee is you'll get wonderful rolls but that shouldn't be the only thing. Manager is terrible and rude! She shouldn't expect people to want to pay for cold chewy food. Honestly if she can't handle a customer not being pleased with service, she needs to quite and find a different job. I'd never slam someone's ticket down then preceed to talk about my customers to my employees. And If I could I'd post pictures of they're disgusting bathrooms that nobody cleans!! It's supposed to be the hostess job from what I'm told but apparently the only time they step foot in there, is when they're using the bathroom. It looks like a truck stop bathroom!#!&# If they can't take care of they're bathrooms just imagine what the kitchen must look like!

waitress was good... food was good.. the person whom lead us to our table was very bad...when she grabbed our butter, she placed her finger inside the cup, when I ask her to replace it, she refused and said I didn't touch the butter, I did this and repeated the action... then she forgot our forks and knives, needless to say we didn't eat the butter.. they touch things all over that restaurant, and a lot of them play with their hair.. teach them to take the butter cup from the outside without touching the inside and rim..

Dinner and drinks with my husband. Shelby was a great server! My 6oz sirloin melted in my mouth!! Parking lot was full, and we walked in to be seated! We will DEFF be back! Thanks Shelby for outstanding service!

Food was good but the environment was lacking. Our server, Grace was fantastic. Having all the other servers hover around gossiping was a nuisance.
This is the second time we have been here, the service was terrible both times. We will not return. The waitress was terrible both times. They are out of syrup for both sprite and hi-c fruit punch. If you are in a hurry avoid it. But if you have two hours to spend waiting please come.
The rolls and cinnamon butter is really really good
The bread was delicious. I ordered the pulled pork and it was rather dried. My husband ordered the prime rib and it came out perfect. We also ordered the big fried onion and fried pickles as appetizers and they were great. The waiter was very attentive and gives us the best service. The wait is a bit long so make sure you get yourself on the waitlist.
Exceptionally consistent resturaunt. The kitchen makes your food like they were eating it. Must have a bunch of professionals back there, instead of the just got out prison crew. Management somehow acheives superior results at every location. The only way to eat better steak is spend twice as much elsewhere.

It was OK, I had a frozen margarita which was fantastic. The salad and steak was pretty good, and sweet potato was very good.
Great service and food. The biggest problem is that it is the only location in town...so you will be waiting an hour or more for a table!

Food was great. Service was subpar. Unfortunately it was just our waitress Meagan. Other waiters at nearby tables were attentive. Ours was nowhere to be found.
We just walked out on Jaclyn. The service was terrible. She was rude and ignored us. She took care of 2 other tables before getting our drink order. She then took an eternity to bring us our WATERS. Blake took better care of us and his section was across the restaurant. This was my last weekend before shipping out to Navy Bootcamp. Hopefully the roadhouse at my first duty station won't have a Jaclyn. It's funny that she was nice and smiling to a non-Hispanic couple but rude with us.
My wife and I are regulars. Normally everything is perfect. Last Sunday 6/28/18 though we invited my daughter and her husband in to celebrate my daughters birthday. We all ordered steaks medium. When we got our steaks all but one was over cooked. The waitress was kind and offered to have them recooked. As we waited the one steak that was cooked right was eaten by my daughters husband. We got our steaks he was all through eating. So he sat there while the rest of us ate our new steaks.
So when it came time to check out I was really surprised that we were charged full price for our order. I paid it but wasn t happy that a discount wasn t even offered for the mistake. Very disappointed by this since we couldn t all eat together like we attended to do when we sat down there.
I would have given this visit five stars because the food was excellent and the service was prompt and efficient and I love the atmosphere. I m unhappy with the visit because I called the day before the visit and was assured that the staff would be wearing masks. I will not go into a restaurant where they aren t using masks to help keep the customers safe. I wear mine to keep them safe too. I only remove it to eat and drink. Unfortunately, when we got there (at approximately 4:00 on Friday afternoon) everyone had masks on but most of them (the girl at the front desk, the cook behind the window, some of the waiters and waitresses) had the masks pulled down under their chins. With their mouths and noses exposed the masks were of no help. In the future I ll have to ask if they wear masks AND if they they wear them properly. I was disgusted because my husband and I try to stay as safe as possible and still support our favorite restaurants. Texas Roadhouse is actually my favorite restaurant in Abilene. I will refrain from going there if they don t wear the masks properly on our second try of eating there. Maybe this experience was a fluke. I don t want to have to worry about my server talking (and droplets of spit flying) over my meal.
