This why i hate texas why cant you guys just have everything at one place like the DMV in california

staff is very rude, would not even help me located where my drivers license is. and said "no one could help me"

Shouldn't be called a DPS at all if they aren't doing drivers licenses what's the point in that big building to not have them doing drivers license

This is a Headquarters which means they deal with corporate communications, HR, and IT. Not issuing drivers license, or having great service!

Yep. Just not helpful and rude.
Will drive as far as I have to not to use this horrible service.

WHY WOULD THERE BE A DPS BUT NOT BE ABLE TO ISSUE DRIVERS LICENSES? I now have to drive to the woodlands to renew my license. Seriously, either change the name, put it online, or just ISSUE THE FREAKING LICENSES.

Texas Department of Public Safety Region 2 Office DOES NOT have a Texas Drivers License Service at this building. This building houses the DPS State Troopers and Texas Rangers for this region...Region 2. Don t bash on these fine folks for having the DPS name. People, look up Texas DPS Drivers License and you will see this place is NOT recommended to come too. There is plenty of information online to say Do NOT come here. This is the location for Law Enforcement Division aka DPS State Troopers. Back the Black and White! Thank you Troopers for keeping us as safe as you can on the highways and by-ways! Hammer down!

I called today for the first time got through and they answered my question. Maybe they heard y'all complaints.
