Texas Body Shop, Inc. Review

We had a GREAT experience with Texas Body shop! We had the unfortunate circumstance to have two vehicles worked on by their shop at the same time. This, in itself, caused alot of stress. But, they were professional, quick, communicated frequently, and provided HIGH QUALITY work. For such a bad situation, they made it painless...and to add the cherry on the top, we received both vehicles way ahead of schedule.

When great service is provided, it's important to let that business know. I sure did!! You DEFINITELY want to check them out. You will be glad you did.

Very warm and welcoming environment. Great customer service. We were driving a long distance in the snow and needed a quick service. Every other place was closed for lunch but John and Austin went above and beyond to fit us in and get us back on the road quickly and safely. Highly recommend!

Got a bad door ding on my new Camaro, luckily got the guy's insurance info and decided on Texas Body Shop for my claim. The owner, John, always greeted me with a handshake and made me feel at home. It was a pretty good dent and scraped down to bare metal. A few days later, it looks brand new! They even washed and detailed my car! Highly recommend to anybody needing body work done.

If you want a body shop that provides beyond expectations of customer service, Texas Body Shop is the place. Jeff has been patient and extremely helpful in assisting me with my struggle against the insurance company. I will choose these guys every time.

I have used Texas Body Shop 4x (including my son) in the past few years and always had great and professional service in a timely manner. One of my children either parked to close or hit a steep area that detached the front skirt of my car. I went in yesterday and explained the situation without telling them I have used them previously. The young man at the front went outside to look at it and said let me take it around to the shop and see what we can do. About 10 min later brought it back around front fixed and free of charge. Thank you Texas Body Shop! I will forever use you and refer you to any of my friends!

Great place. The do good work and keep their promise about when your car will be finished. John really fought for me with the insurance company and got them to pay for everything.

I thought Bernard's was bad about scamming everyone and their dog when it came to auto insurance claims, but this company is the absolute worst. Took our vehicle in, after it was wrecked, got a quote for used parts at double the price, and then when the used parts they ordered came in and were not up to par, they tried to charge up to triple of what they had originally quoted; which has totalled out the vehicle. So, now we have a totalled vehicle, all thanks to the scam artists at Texas Body Shop. DO NOT USE THIS SHOP IF YOU WANT TO KEEP YOUR VEHICLE!!

Took my car in after it was hit in a parking lot with an insurance claim on uninsured motorist. They had it for 2 weeks and when I got it back there were burn throughs in a couple spots and one side of my bumper never even got buffed and polished after sanding. I took it back to them and they agreed to fix it and kept it another 2 days. Now it looks as if they spilled paint on my fender and it was my bumper that needed the work. Also I found a new spot of not bumper that wasn't polished completely. They are some nice guys and friendly. But who quality checks the vehicles before they leave the shop? My bet is no one. I am still undecided if I want to take it back for a third time or not. I might just fix it myself at this point. I can buff and polish better than them anyway. In good conscience I can not recommend this shop to anyone.

I would highly recommend this body shop to anyone. They had to replace the left rear panel of my wife s car and it looks like a brand new car. They give you updates as the repair process goes along and they were always willing to answer any questions. We went through insurance on this repair and it was fast and no stress on my wife or I. Great job guys on the work!

They did the hail repairs to my boss 302 to perfection and my car has never been cleaner! I'm very impressed with the work and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who needs body repair. Thank you guys for taking such good care of her! Merry Christmas!

Was amazed, they missed little things but corrected within hours of my asking. I fully support this body shop, local and Just great! My car hit and run but $2500 damage and I carry uninsured and under-insured and rental on a car I own outright. They were great, even had a rental car waiting rep that took me over and back John is amazing and got it done right.

Excellent Service!!!!!. I had a collision damage to my car and dropped my car here for the fix. Doug took care of it and fixed it to picture perfect. Thank you Doug.. You are awesome!!!. This shop is the best in Amarillo.

I had a great experience at Texas Body Shop. They were kind, prompt and professional. When the work on my vehicle lasted longer than they had estimated - which was my insurance's fault, not theirs - they covered the additional rental vehicle costs. They also detailed my car at no additional cost and with amazing quality! I work out of my car and run around two young boys and two dogs, so they had a lot of work to do! Would definitely recommend this body shop.

I brought my car there with a small but annoying piece of the bumper hanging off. I thought I would have to get an estimate and it would be an expensive and time-consuming ordeal. Nope! The employee was incredibly friendly and helpful. They took care of the problem and I was in and out within minutes. If (God forbid) I do have any actual damage issue, I'll definitely be taking my car here to get it taken care of.

Never completed. I ordered parts with the manager. Twice. Still not repaired although I spent more then 5000.00.

The people here are friendly and understanding they will do their best to get your car fixed and back into your care as soon as possible they send messages to your phone telling you the estimated time which your car should be ready and will answer anytime you call overall a great body shop

These guys were very helpful with my small issue when other big name shops around town pretty much ignored me. They were VERY generous when they didn't have to be. I will be using them the next time I need body work done.

They did a great job on my Camry. It was so clean when they got done, it was like I had a new car again.

I had my vehicle repaired in 06, and where it was repaired the clear coat started peeling. I returned to the shop this year 2016 with the receipt of the repairs to see what could be done. These guys not only said they were sorry, but stood behind their work and repaired my vehicle FREE. This shop stands behind their work!!!!!!

Texas Body Shop exceeded my expectations. They did a great job on my repairs. I recommend them highly.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. The quality of their work is impeccable. My car was returned to me in pristine condition, and almost as clean as when I bought it. Their text message system keeps you apprised as to how they are progressing with the timeline. I am beyond happy with the work Texas Body did on my car.

I am so completely and totally impressed with the work done by Texas Body Shop. The work is the highest quality and my car was returned to me cleaner than it was when I picked it up from the car lot when I bought it! I can't say enough good about the quality of their service.

Took my brand new car there for some fender damage. It looks good as new yet again. Affordable, professional, courteous, prompt. Hopefully I won't have to, but I would use them again in the future.

They were all amazing from the time I stepped thru the front door. They quickly evaluated and repaired my car in a professional and friendly manor. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs work done.

Worst experience I have ever had. They called and said the car was done. I went to pick it up before closing and they lost the keys. It took them about 45 minutes to find them. When we got it home we noticed a driving light was missing. Took it back and they told my wife the light was installed but she hit something and knocked it out. She said no it wasn't. Then they said in front of everyone there that the car wouldn't have left without the light. Which made my wife look like a liar.Then they said they have pictures if my wife wanted to see. 5 minutes later they saw in the pictures they took the light was missing and told my wife it was backordered. I told my wife to leave. Then they call me and said they were sorry and was ordering the light. My first thought was to ask what happened to it being on backorder. Then instead of having to deal with such a poor run place, I told them I will never step foot on their property again. That is not how you treat your customers.

They did a great job on my truck... reasonably priced.... would recommend to everyone who needs body repairs on your vehicle
