I have just been to Tesco colney hatch lane, the queue was around the building but staff on hand to show you where to go. The store manager spoke to each group as they neared the entrance explaining the new restrictions. Once inside the store was well stocked. The store was calm, the staff are doing a brilliant job to keep the store going. Well done Tesco.

Perfect

One guy called Sam unprofessional was very rude and probably the worst i had to deal with

Asked me for a id and bank account.
Gived him Uk driving licence, my ID , 2 personal account, my business account.
But guess what he said NO for no reason didn't want to carry on with the credit check.

I asked for his supervisor (very professional and understanding lady) hopping she give him a lesion.
Anyway been to Apple today just driving license and my bank details without a problem took a phone

Many thanks to Salim, (I think he said he headed a team at the store) who helped me today when the air dispenser at the pumps seemed to be taking air out of my car tyres instead of putting it in. He couldn't have been more helpful, and checked that I could manage it myself before I left. He really went beyond the call of duty and it was much appreciated by a senior citizen.

Second lockdown. They have implemented a traffic light system on their entrance door that controls the flow of people going inside. However, inside there was still alot of people as traffic inside is not maintained. Some people are permited to enter without masks which is wrong.

Be careful because they charge you more on your bill. When there is an offer buy 2 for less price, even if you buy 1 product they charge you for 2 and also you can find something that you didn't buy on your receipt. For example I bought 3 More

Appalling signage, can't find anything because the layout defies logic; advertised Indian "Meal deal" of two sides, two mains, but never said which were which, on product packs or shelf edge; run out of common ingredients (no ordinary frozen prawns? Halfway through a weekday? REALLY???); I wasted over an hour trying to get a 19-item list together and failed.
The extra drive to Asda or Morrisons now seems well worthwhile.

It's a huge Tesco Supermarket. They don't have a restaurant or coffee shop (at least I haven't seen one if there is one)but they do have toilets which I think are always clean and well maintained. There is a good standard to the instore service and the staff are generally helpful. I did have a problem with the bakery at one point, I think it was being trialled with a third-party running the bakery and some of the people I encountered were very nasty and rude. However that seems to be in the past and standards have returned. Fruit and vegetables are always excellent. Why oh why have Tesco stopped selling their super own-brand rubber handled razors (came in blue for men and pink for women but were identical) and economy male deodorant? And why has Scotch Broth canned soup disappeared?

Nearly all the trolly bays have the key on a chain missing so you have to wander around to find one to park your trolly to get your pound back also when I was there today I witnessed a customer being very abusive to a shop assistant and security were just ignoring it

I like the waste selection. The cash machines outside often don t work and if I don t have a coin I had to carry a metal basket. They should have one in between pull baskets like in Aldi . Price wise is good.

Visited today and the adherence to social distancing guidelines was very poor. A couple of weeks ago it was much better but it seems that both staff and customers are now not bothering. People were too close in the queue outside. The guy on the door was letting big family groups in together instead of only one person per group (which they said two weeks ago was their policy) and inside loads of staff were standing around close together chatting, most without face masks. While I was getting something from a shelf, shelfstackers came right up next to me. I appreciate they have to do their job but surely they should wait until a customer moves away. And of course many of the customers were just wandering around as normal without any consideration to keep 2 metres from others. On the only plus side it was well stocked. I ll avoid going again as I felt unsafe.

The shop is perfect and the food is always available and fresh. No problem with it at all, but could do with a different restaurant upstairs. The staff there are slow even though it never gets very full. The place is kept dirty, especially the toilets which are disgusting. I prefer to use the ones downstairs in the shop.

Quite disappointed in my experience with this Tesco. Unfortunately, this is my nearest supermarket, or I would seriously shop elsewhere.

I did not like the way how the security guard followed me around the shop, and stared at me rather intensely, like he was trying to intimidate me.

And then, when I finally reach the checkout section, the staff on a certain till waited until I got to her till to ask a fellow customer to do her a favour, and close the gate .
I know she saw me coming a mile away, so why wait until I actually reach HER till??
I thought that was pure spite, and all because I have a stick.

I would not have asked them for assistance, because I like to be self sufficient, but I thought that was very rude.

In short, your staff need better training.
