I've been here 2 times, 1st in September, 2nd in June. 1 time there were absolutely excellent impressions, if you imagine what kind of place it is and do not scare the lack of changing rooms, crowded and limited range of a nearby bar.
For those who prefer a more comfortable environment there is an opportunity to stay in a hotel with thermal water pools.
2 times the impressions were badly damaged by the presence of a large number of mosquito-bell larvae in the water (it is a bloodworm). Then I made inquiries - they are not dangerous, but seeing a large number of small red worms in the water after 2 hours in the sources spoiled the impression a lot.

but it's amazing. the main falls are warm and powerful. you'll need swimming shoes or plastic shoes to wear in the water.

only drawback is the crazy Italian system of people getting out of cars to claim spots in the packed car park. I had none of it. sorry not sorry

Very beautifull
Free sulfur hot water baths (free), use old costumes because they are impregnated with the smell of sulfur and it is difficult to eliminate it, do not wear silver jewelery, it darkens or turns yellow.
The journey is worthwhile.

The beautiful place is definitely worth a visit and a stop. The only regret is that the social distance did not exist, which is why I did not use it.

Beautiful!!! Experience to try. Total relaxation immersed in sulphurous waters. They leave a little 'desire the adjacent accommodation facilities. For example, I do not understand why they do not improve the access road and parking! There is not even a covered place to change.

They are waterfalls with sulfur and very hot water is a fantastic relaxation.

Must see in southern Tuscany. The place is unbelievable and available for free.
Tip: You have to leave your belongings on the bench and nobody guards it so don't take valuable stuff with you there.

Beautiful waterfalls immersed in uncontaminated nature! Even in the busiest periods there is a place to relax given the size of the place. Truly a fantastic place to see at least once in your life.

Road trip with friends. Unfortunately, due to rain, I could not swim, but the place is truly spectacular!

This stop should definitely not be missing on a trip through Tuscany! We got there just before 7 a.m. and shouldn't have come much later. It fills up incredibly quickly. Fortunately, we were able to park the camper in a bay on the side of the road.

Definitely a unique place. I don't recommend it much in August with the heat. The water is warm, the sun beats, so many people. I recommend sea shoes, you slip and there are stones in the water.

Wonderful spa resort in the heart of Tuscany. The waterfalls of the mill of Saturnia are a complex of natural terraces, pools and courses of thermal waters. Access is free as is the parking lot near the entrance to the complex.
A towel, costume and special shoes / slippers (the stones do not forgive) are a must. Large green areas in the near vicinity to rest.
A bar-restaurant with shower and refreshment is on the spot.
Wonder of nature in a beautiful complex ... A visit is a must!

Wonderful place but uncontrolled (at least at night) by police, this allowing users to misbehave (such as by bringing dogs and smoking in the waters)

A wonderful place, out of time.
It can be visited and used 24 hours a day, free of charge.
I go back and forth at least twice a year, just for the long distance.

To see even if for a little while. Truly unique. Admission and free parking. They deserve 5 stars just for this.

Too crowded. Ok that's a public and free place, but a minimum of spacing access control should be there.

Free! Very pleasant, though crowds may be, you have to go early. No dressing room, basic, but good!

What can I say, a postcard if seen by those who come from on the road created a nice view where to stop to take pictures. Absolutely to go to immerse yourself in these hot spring waters that after a very long journey where the water is loaded with all those mineral properties come out to caress the skin of those who dive. Fantastic!

For me one of the most beautiful natural places in Italy ..... I call it paradise on earth because it's like living magic. Relax in the tanks with water (800 liters per second) thermal at 37 degrees has no equal.
I was there last year and decided to come back as soon as I can.
Near there is a free parking and a bar to eat delicious dishes and be able to take a shower with 1 euro. It would be suitable to bring the hair dryer if the outside temperatures are not very hot.
All well organized and despite the many clean appearances ..... we hope it stays that way.

Wonderful thermal baths but it is a very serious shame that on Sundays the buses of Tiemme Siena, so to speak, the blue buses do half a day in fact my girlfriend and I had to make it on foot from manciano to saturnia return shameful and say a little that sucks

Free and fun. Not too crowded (well it was a Thursday afternoon in November!) But still busy. Definitely an experience. Bring water shoes and a bathrobe ) big towel for after. Facilities are primitive - but that's part of the fun!

A true hidden and unique gem. Soak in these wonderful natural springs like the locals do. Entrance is free and it can get a bit crowded. There is a little cafe that offers snack and a shower, but not much else. You better come prepared, bring towels and some water shoes as the gravel can be a bit painful.

I was in this wonderful place from 22 to 24, under a sky never seen so full of stars. Experience nothing short of magical. There was a lot of people, but the place is still there. I never wanted to leave again.

It would be disrespect to beautiful Italy not to know this place. To all who see. This post please visit. It is paradise in various ways to reach Saturnia ... Be sure to meet

A magical place to indulge in the warm sulphurous waters

Amazing experience. Free access to the warm terme waterfall. I came towards sunset, less people here in May.

Wonderful place in the middle of nature, with the camper I found a fully equipped campsite 1 km from the free spas.

Really nice experience, for those who fear small red larvae just get in the area where the water flows faster.

As there is beautiful, wonderful place, fabulous, the smell of sulfur is not intense. In mid-September there were no large crowds, but nevertheless there are some people (photos are taken in the early morning). I also recommend free entrance and parking.

Very nice place to live in the low season and with low temperatures. Too bad there are no lights for an evening bathroom as it is open h. 24

Always pleasant to spend a few hours, several parking spaces compared to a few years ago.

Natural waterfalls of sulphurous waters ... very suggestive because they were dug by the waters themselves, free, surrounded by a beautiful countryside. It is recommended to use rock shoes. Surely they could be valued much more, but its that "spartan" probably makes them so interesting ...

Given the turnout they could serve it better, keep it cleaner and more welcoming. Twenty years ago it could have gone well now no. Excellent free parking

Lovely place, too bad it's badly kept, lots of waste and unsorted waste scattered in the wonder of nature. I would forbid dogs to enter the water for hygienic reasons.

Characteristic place to see absolutely. Natural spas of sulphurous water. There are always so many people, but the place is spacious.

Absolutely worth a visit. Thermal spring from nature. Here you can enjoy the sulphurous water for free. A great pleasure and then also healthy. It could not be better.

I was in April two years ago. Really an absolutely rare beauty, unfortunately when I went it was really crowded. You could not pass almost among the people. Let's say that I was hoping for a more relaxing experience More

Nice but if you consider the kilometers to get there better the paid spas have the bathroom, the locker and you can circulate between the pools even barefoot, and then there is a medical center, let's not forget it, inside the paid spas. These "free" spas are physically after the private ones there, but anyway it is worth visiting

One has to come here and enjoy the natural beauty and warmth of the springs. It's not easy to find but it's right there just off the road and has a bit of parking so it's better if you park up the road somewhere else if you are late in the day. There is a cafe right next to it which provides shower service and light bite and the whole cascate itself is sectioned off naturally so you can pick your spot and just chill for a good bit and get out and repeat if you want to. You do need a car to get to it as it's not in a town but its defo worth it.

Very nice quaint place, very expensive restaurants and bars

The children enjoyed it very much . The water is not that warm so we could stay in it for about an hour. It looks exactly like it does in pictures. Not as crowded as we thought it would be.

Place definitely worth visiting! It is advisable to enjoy moments of relaxation both in the pools along the slope as well as in the stream located in the most shady upper area. Present bar

It was beautiful. We were there at sunrise and it was already full of people but totally OK, because there is a high rotation. We were happy u til we saw this little red worms. They are not dangerous at all, but I wanted to leave then

We went in January. A very special and quiet place in the middle of the Marasma Toscana. We will be back!!

Magical place surrounded by nature. Access to the falls is totally free and the two large parking lots near the falls are also free. There are also public toilets and a small restaurant where you can eat or enjoy an ice cream

For those who love spas, a jump or rather a bath is a must.

Well, I wish to tell you this place sucks, so yoh won't go and it will be less crowded but it's a fabulous spot. Probably one if the best places I have been in my life. The water is just at the right temperature, and not too strong speaking of odours, and when you will come out you won't feel cold because of the health benefits given. There are showers nearby and a bar for some food and drinks. Free parking.. Amazing environment and nature. What can you ask more? Please take your rubbish with you

Visited in late June on a midweek day, excellent free parking service and bar with fair prices! Lovely atmosphere!

I was there at night, there was hardly anyone, starry sky and thermal water ... You don't need anything else ...

They are truly beautiful, one cannot believe that nature could have created something like this. Free entry, free parking at 10 meters, on-site snack bar with free toilets, possibility of using the showers (1 1 token for 1 minute of shower) by bringing your own hairdryer, you can use it for free in the shower section. Lovely place and lots of comfort. Open 24 hours a day

Sulfur just stinks, the RV parking space is 2 km away, you can swim. Car parking lot overcrowded. Journey exhausting. The cascate was very well occupied. I imagined it to be bigger.

Lovely place and plenty of hot tubs very pleasant sulphureous water.
A bit 'difficult to reach as there are few driving directions and overcrowded summer, but remains one of the destinations to visit for those who are in the area.
Too bad to be gone after a stormy night which made the water a little muddy in any case it was a wonderful experience.

Always seen in photos but in real life they have disappointed because the free spaces are crowded, not very clean and poorly preserved. On weekends, too many crowds do not allow you to find a free space that is more spaced out. The areas for bathing are limited and uncomfortable. Absolutely preferable to go to the adjacent thermal baths and with a modest entrance take advantage of all the services, spaces and amenities.

It is a fantastic place, there are many places to relax and be massaged by the water and lots of natural pools among the waterfalls, there is so much space to settle down and relax out of the water and there is an open space to leave the cars attached to the waterfalls, all this at no cost !!

Very nice place, free parking available in the area.
There is also a bar. I recommend going down with the essentials, unless you want to camp with the tent (someone was doing it). There are no showers available.
