Wonderful and as you know it from all the photos.
Best would be to come early or very late, during the day or is quite full.
Even during the actual Corona crisis, there are a lot of people there.
But it is worth it.

A delusion,
certainly after having seen the photos on the internet a tourist can also be tempted to undertake a 2h trip to visit this "mythical" Tuscan destination.
The truth: not worth it, dirty place (trash thrown everywhere) crowded and generally not cared for.

Lovely, free parking, free waterfall entrance place suitable for adults and children. To do absolutely !!!

Beautiful open-air spas available to everyone in a rural and relaxing landscape, bathing in the sulphurous waters and then walking along the river you can go for mud baths.

Excellent place to relax and unwind. Mostly locals in the middle of the week (end of June) but there was more than enough place to enjoy a nice beautiful day in the sun. No need to pay anything to access this beautiful place unless you require a more private bath. Smells like sulphur but this is expected at thermal baths. Dogs are allowed. Parking can be difficult but on this day many spaces were available.

Beautiful, open 24 hours a day and totally free. Near the falls there is a large parking area and a lawn where you can relax comfortably. There is a bar for refreshment.

A marvel of nature !!! Crowded in the central hours of the day, but my husband and I, stopping with the camper in the nearby campsite, we were early in the morning and then we returned around 20.00. With little crowd, you can fully enjoy this wonder. Council to enter with rock-climbing shoes

The waterfalls are 5-star, but unfortunately at the moment there is work in progress and therefore they are closed ... inquire well before you go.

Very beautiful, warm blue water with sulfur (they say useful), in my opinion it is better to climb above the waterfall, it is more pleasant there. Take non-slippery slippers with you.

Must visit...we reached that place using public bus...it is a great place

Unique place..comfortable to get there. You have to organize yourself well, since being a public place and, fortunately, not for a fee, there are no changing rooms. For "emergencies" there is always a bar at the entrance.
We hope it will always remain free.

Superb free spa hot water wellness in the middle of nature

This place is very impressive especially at first light of dawn with very few people ...

The photos posted on this place are misleading, it is a creek like the others uncomfortable but in addition there is sulphurous water

It's great, hot water and free whirlpool! Access is public and there is a large car park very close by so that you don't have to go far to reach the place. There is also a bar and toilet.

Particular cascades of thermal water, access is free, a bathrobe, a pair of slippers are enough ...

Beautiful and full of charm. Natural pools are unique.

May be going there during winter time is best. Was not great going there during summer when air temp is 95F with warm water from ground. Just went there for experience, but wasn't pleasant due rotten smells from surrounding.

Just amazing place to chill in hot thermal water.. about 34 degrees water.. it s free and little crowded in the afternoon but worth the visit... for a more VIP experience you can go to Saturnia resort... but the entrance is quiet expensive if you compare as the 20 000 lire is used to cost few years ago.. and this is the same water...

Very beautiful site, pleasant and original. To do. But come early for parking, but also to enjoy the site without the hustle and bustle.

We went by day and then its quite crowded, sow we came back in the evening and then it was perfect!

Best place for an outdoor spa. Not that hot though. But it smell bad.

Awesome place, and I just can't believe it's free. This was one of the highlights of Italy for our 5-year-old.

A spectacle of nature. In the middle of the Tuscan Maremma, an all-natural jewel, FREE, open to all 24h / 24. A lovely place surrounded by greenery and hills. Extremely recommended! Suitable for families, children, couples, the elderly, ALLIIIII!
Relaxing atmosphere, sometimes too chaotic being free but still a gem to experience!

A magical place in the Tuscia countryside! Like a mirage on a hot August day during our motorbike tours we found ourselves at the waterfalls so much named. Nearby there is free parking. Water at 37 degrees, therefore slightly warmer than the outside temperature. Many reviews spoke of the presence of red worms, I personally have not seen them perhaps because in the larger tanks the current is a little stronger. Anyway there were almost 12 and there were so many people but cmq it was not difficult to find a place to hang out the towel and then dive into the natural pools. Near the mill there is a bar that also prepares sandwiches and pizzas and offers the possibility of showering even with shampoo and shower gel and changing after using the spa. The typical smell of sulfur could be felt in the air but on the skin you didn't feel much and anyway after a quick shower it went away. Then we continued our motorcycle tour.

It is an enchanted and unusual place. We are in close contact with nature along with many people of all ages. Sulphurous water flows at a pleasant temperature (around 37 degrees) in abundance forming small waterfalls, even where it seems calmer it is never firm. You can stay in "soak" without hurry for free. To visit...

Fairytale place. The testimony that nature creates scenarios beyond imagination. Completely free thermal waters surrounded by unspoiled nature. I recommend wearing rock shoes to access the waterfalls

Outdoor hot spring. I can imagine it will be so good to go in winter, but it is going to be crowded too. We were there on a rather hot day, but still quite some people. I enjoyed it though. You will need some special shoes for protection from the little stones, sometimes it is a bit slippery as well.

Wonderful place, I grew up pity that for two years the municipality is eliminating every place to stop with a towel on the ground. They closed and privatized the forest on the river riv which was the only source of shade and place to rest

Returning to the Saturnia Waterfalls for the 102nd time, I found a better organization of parking, cleaning the park around. The refreshment bar nothing of that!

Fantastic place I do not recommend it on the weekend because there are too many people ... if you have never been there go there I recommend you bring a towel or bathrobe and rock shoes if you want to be quiet ... Down to the pools on the river bed you can also find some clay ... All at no cost !!!!

Beautiful place, a really natural point to visit.
Bring water shoes because the inside of the falls is full of stones. Do not bring silver or jewelry because everything is black.

Truly quaint, free free there are no rules. I also saw the little dogs enter the water.

Slightly crowded... but plenty of space for everyone. Not as hot as I'd like it.. but it's thermal.. could be variable. Throughly ejoyed it.

Very characteristic, but little appreciated. There are dangerous points that should be made safe, and I would also suggest removing the largest boulders on the river bed, in the flat areas to facilitate access without risking falls and slips. Bring the rock-climbing shoes, otherwise you slip easily. The water is at 37 degrees.

I go there every year, if you want to save money come in a tent or camper, or van, and place yourself in alveare dei pinzi, a camping-like rest area, with camper caravans and tents, it is about a km from the waterfalls. About 15 for two people with hot coin showers.

Charming place really beautiful! Very pleasant sulphurous hot water also useful for those who have sinusitis. If you want you can make mud. Today, August 16th, really crowded but a small place is found! Relaxing leaning against the rocks and letting yourself be caressed by the rushing water. My children and boys had a great time ... some excoriation on the rocks ... to bring water shoes for rent also in the bar. Free parking

A beautiful place for adults, even for children, you could spend a morning or an afternoon in the pools with sulphurous thermal water. A small bar is also a very organized place for parking near the pools.

A relaxing warm rocky cascade perfect for a perfect day. It was actually free. The smell of surfur was quite pungent tho and there were a couple of kids allowed to swim and splash around which caused water to end up in my face every 2mins so we had to move. Also it was very pebbly and rocky so definitely bring swim shoes. I wished I had mine but I just wore my sandals. Overall an enjoyable experience!

Fantastic warm sulfur springs a great place to enjoy and relax. Best during the week. Free parking and restaurant available.

Amazing terms!! Really recommend to visit when you are in Italy! All the time you can take a rest during the day and also at night, terms are free.

People, but that's normal, it's so beautiful, hot, free and surprising ... a must-see in Italy ... and for motorhome operators, there is a well-equipped area 1 km away

I had read some negative reviews on the Cascate del Mulino and so I went a little biased. I have to say I changed my mind, it was beautiful. We arrived very late (around 20:00), after a visit to the villages in the area (Pitigliano, Sorano and Sovana), and this probably benefited us. Many people were already gone so much that I parked near the entrance bar. I was breathless to see the place that has something magical. Although it was at the end of the day, I didn't see dirt around, and I didn't even see the famous red vermicelli. There were several families of foreign tourists, all very enthusiastic. We got out of the water when it started to get dark but I would have been happy again. A pity that the bar closes at 20:00.
The only problem is that not being able to shower, we brought the smell of sulfur home :-).
A word of advice: bring rubber shoes to be able to move around in the pools without hurting or slipping.

Beautiful and magical place, found almost by mistake. Here you can enjoy the thermal water, the hydromassage effect given by the waterfalls, natural mud and thermal pools. All without paying a euro. Parking is also free.
We spent a beautiful and relaxing day.

Waterfalls immersed in nature, completely free, with ample free parking a few steps away and a bar open in summer until about 10pm. Recommended both during the day (even if sometimes they are very crowded) and in the evening (I prefer them). There are no places to leave backpacks etc so especially in the evening take with you only the essentials to change (even a pair of shoes to walk on the stones in the tanks and a torch because in addition to a lamp there is no other light). In addition to the natural waterfall (above) in the lower part it is possible to make muds. The water is rich in sulfur therefore smelly but with good properties.

A place near home where you can relax in the midst of nature!

A magical place that should absolutely be privatized or supervised by public officials. No toilet, no lockers, free parking, bar / restaurant available on site.
People have no respect for nature, bottles, paper and bags can be found everywhere even in the tubs. Guardians should be placed and above all close after 10pm.
Please take care of this place!

A lot of people. But there are 2 perfect outposts with warm water:
Where people go downstream to put mud on their bodies if you continue to dig being completely alone. And the other is on the road that takes you to the waterfall before entering in front of the gas station is the hot river that is the one that reaches the waterfall.

Beautiful and very relaxing place. Please don't leave your things here! I caught people throwing cigarettes and other things. I hope this place stays clean and beautiful forever.

I imagine it is suggestive out of season.
No.problem for parking. There is also a large lawn to lie down with towels

Thermal is currently shut down. Wife and I drove a long way to experience Saturnia just to find its closed.

The Mulino waterfalls are accessible to all. Remember rock climbing shoes and towel. To be preferred in the early hours of the morning or towards evening because it is then filled with people

the place very nice people are too many and very uncivilized ... you walk on the waste you can not spread a towel.

Disorganized, crowded people, fleets of buses, the only place in Saturnia that is visited and is left to itself, no facilities, no controls, no area set up for eating just a beautiful lawn where everyone is their own master .. mah

I arrived there at about 9:00 and at 9:45 we ran away because 4 buses were arriving ..
It could be a real gem but nothing .. amen

A visit to Saturino. Bath in thermal sulfur waters. Very nice atmosphere. Great place for a family picnic. I wonder how this place would look like during Polish winter (I'm thinking about snow)
