TEPAS Breast Center Review

This office is a mess. Disorganized. I do not recommend their services.

Very disorganized. My doc ordered an emergency mammogram as I was in pain. Was told that I needed to have a consult first the following week and then they would make mammogram appointment. I referred to "emergency" status of doctors orders and was informed that is how they do things. I was going to cancel and go somewhere else and then a male called to tell me they made a mistake and that he could get in me in the following week at the earliest. He was very pleasant and seemed to know what he was doing.

I went to the appointment and parked my car. A woman came out a side door and was yelling at me that I can't park there. Yes yelling as in very raised voice... She said it was doctor only parking. I asked her how I was supposed to know that. She pointed to a tree. Inside the tree was buried a sign that said no parking. You could not read the sign without moving the tree branches. It was totally covered. I asked her to come look at the sign and tell me she could read it. She just turned around and closed and locked the door.

Ok, nice way to be greeted at the doctor.
Moving on....

Went in and everything was great. The Mammo person was super personable and was telling me about why she chose her job and it seemed like all was well.

I then went to have the ulltrasound part. The mammo person had explained she had scanned both and that it would be good to have an ultrasound of both sides. The ultrasound was done on one side. The technician said we were all done and started moving towards the door. I asked her what about the other breast. She paused looked at me and said it's not necessary. I said I would prefer to have the other side done as well since I am here. She just totally ignored me, didn't respond and walked out the door. I got dressed and left.. how weird!

They told me that someone would call me to make appointment for the results. I had also filled out paperwork for my oncologist to receive the results as I had an appointment with him in 2 weeks. 2 weeks later no phone call for followup appointment from Tepas. I had called to inquire about the follow up appointment and was told someone would call me back. They never did.

I figured all was well since in the week between my doctor ordering mammo and the actual mammo the lump and pain was totally gone. Knowing that my oncologist appointment was in a few days I knew that he would let me know if anything was up.

I arrive at my oncologist and he says he didn't receive any report. We called Tepas and asked for report while I was at his office. My oncologist called me later to tell me that the mammo was a mess and would have to be redone. His office made an appointment at their facility which meant i had to drive down to West Palm for the mammo. Well at least it was going to get done right.

The next day Tepas called and left a voicemail that the results of the mammo were inconclusive and that I had to come back in again.

No way was I going back to Tepas to have the Mammo/Ultrasound done again.

I had an appointment the next day in West Palm. Went in, had the mammo and ultrasound. The specialist was right there and within a few minutes I had the results and was on my way. Sadly, a month of time was wasted with Tepas. Thank GOD!!! That there was nothing seriously wrong.

I had a wonderful experience with the new mammogram machine. It was nothing like the old mammograms used to be, very comfortable procedure . Thank you Dr Imami and Staff.

When you walk into the office you are greeted warmly. The office is immaculate, tastefully decorated and covid compliant. My wait time each and everytime was 5 minutes or less. The nurses are also very good. They were mindful, and respectful for the reason I was there. A recent diagnosis of breast cancer. They made me feel like I was their only patient. Thanks Maggie.
Dr. Imami has a wonderful professional manner. He is soft spoken, I never felt rushed, he answered all my questions, made a plan of treatment and personally called two of the specialists that I needed to see while I was in the exam room. As a surgeon you could not ask for any one more maticulous, and compitant. The office has state of the art imaging, including 3-D mamography, ultrasound and in house biopsy capabilities. I have done extremely well although I am still going through chemotherapy treatment. Then I will start radiation.
TEPASS has made this experience so much easier to endure. Without their kindness, compassion, organization, and passion to treat breast cancer patients, I don't think I would have done as well as I am doing. Thank you all at TEPAS, especially Dr. Emran Imami.

I am always amazed by the team of employees at Tepas Breast Center. I've been going here for many years. I know where my records are. Staff is always respectful. I couldn't ask for better care.

performed lumpectomy on me May 5th . I was very well taken care of from the first step of cancer care to the end. Everything went very smoothly. The whole staff was very attentve and did their job efficiently. I highly recommend Dr Imami and Tepas breast center to everyone who want the best cancer care.

My wife was amazed with the mew procedure and couldn t believe how painless it was!!!

I am BrCA1 positive and I had a flawless experience with my preventative double mastectomy. Dr Imami is caring and took time with me to make me feel comfortable with my choice. The rest of the staff are excellent and patient as well. The lobby is beautiful and there is plenty of technology to be modern but not overwhelming. The exam rooms aren t traditional medical white, the rooms feel comfortable and not blinding white. I am confidant now with my decreased risk of breast cancer and my surgery was seamless.

TEPAS is my place of choice for my mammogram. My first time there was a referral because of an abnormality several years ago. I won t go anywhere else for my annual mammogram now. The staff is very attentive, the atmosphere is very comfortable and the equipment thy use is top notch! Highly recommend TEPAS for their 3D mammogram. It s painless and comfortable.Ladies, make sure your girls are in good hands, get your mammogram at TEPAS!

I can t thank the personnel at the TEPAS Breast center enough. My entire experience was an excellent one. From my first visit I was placed at ease by the genuine care and concern they all displayed. Their expertise and bedside manners are impeccable. They will be my number one care facility for all my future health needs.

Best, easiest mammo I ever had! Beautiful, relaxed & comfortable atmosphere. Megan (hope I spelled that right) was the nicest tech & explained all the ways their machines were superior to the the ones I ve had to endure all these years before.

It is a place that makes you feel comfortable they have an excellent very attentive staff. I personally recommend it.
