Love this place! The food is incredible. Highly recommend!

Small intimate space. beautiful lighting. It's set up for a 3 course but you can just do entree. Great bottle selection. Great food great service. Bruschetta to start and then had lamb meatballs with penne rosa. Spicy and delicious. My girlfriend had chicken parm. The chicken was huge and tender/juicy. Everything was great!

The food is absolutely phenomenal here. We shared a lg. thin crust mushroom, pepperoni, & sausage pizza as well as the gnocchi dish which consisted of roasted mushrooms & a romano cream sauce. Service was great. Atmosphere is nice, too! I'll be back :)

Love their pancakes, and their french toast is amazing. Friendly and professional staff. Would recommend their amazing bacon for a side dish or extra.

Seriously an amazing restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was even better. The waitress was very knowledgeable about their menu and even though I was the annoying "I can't decide!!" customer, she helped me pick a great dish and let me customize it with a different type of pasta. Also can't go wrong on Wednesdays with their $10 off bottles of wine. Everything was very reasonably priced, with a bottle of wine, appetizer, and two entrees the bill was still below $100.

Brendan suggested a wonderful wine. Shay recommended fabulous meals. I ate at the bar for the first time, and the experience was phenomenal. Can't wait to try Tenuta's To Go on Howard!

I am from out of town, here on business for extended engagement, stay downtown but work in the area. Found this little gem, amazing food, great service and very reasonable in terms of price for what you get in portion and quality of food.

I travel all over the world for work and try to find places like this of the beaten tourist/business path and have found it with this place, would come here for the weekend on pleasure and this would be a destination.

The best Italian food ever. Located in a neighborhood with on street parking. I m sorry I can t remember or pronounce the entrees we had but the meat sauce and pasta was obviously freshly made from scratch. We could see in the kitchen and that s exactly what was going on. Good service. Full bar with good selection of draft beers. Martini average. Great neighborhood restaurant. Even though we did not have pizza they looked fantastic. Con: very close seating. The tables are so close you could almost elbow the person in the table next. I still give it a five and will return.

Bolognese to die for. Found ourselves reminiscing about last year's Italy trip while eating here, if that tells you anything about the high quality of the food here!

The moment I walked in the door with my daughter and her husband we were greeted with a frown. The two hostesses looked at us like, "oh God three more people to seat." The hostess said that it was an hour wait for a table. We said we would think about it and went outside and discussed if we wanted to stay. We went back in and said yes we will wait. The hostess said, "okay well now it's going to be an hour and a half!" We left, they obviously do not want any business. They were so rude! We ended up at a little Italian restaurant called Santino's. We highly recommend. The food was wonderful and the service was fantastic. They greeted us with a smile. How nice!

Phenomenal food and really, really awesome service. Brenden the bartender is friendly, professional, and recommends some damn good wine. Try the Rosso, you won't be disappointed.

Service was excellent. Calamari and wine were on point. But the mushroom ravioli was SO sweet, I was not expecting that. I ate two ravioli and called it quits. The sauce tasted like pure brown sugar. When I think of Italian I think of savory, not so sweet. Will come back but will order something that's definitively savory.

This is my new favorite Italian restaurant. Service was awesome, food was awesome, get the gnocchi.

Favorite Italian place of my wife and I. Rapini with homemade chicken sausage was new and it is wonderful! Waiter was very courteous and attentive.

This place has the best pizza Wisconsin has to offer. The pizzas are simple and full flavor. Inside the restaurant, it has a cozy atmosphere usually dimly lit creating that old school Italian feel. The drinks are great with a nice selection of wines. There are usually a couple of beers on tap. A peroni and pizza is the perfect dinner here. Go with the Virgin crust on the pizza, you won't be disappointed.

I heard people talking about this restaurant so me and my friends decided to give this place a try. I was not disappointed! The food was very good. I had the Calamari, Roasted Mushroom Risotto, Funghi and they were all amazing. The servers were very helpful and fast. I will be eatting here again.

Hands down the BEST Italian restaurant I've ate at in Milwaukee let alone in America! It doesn't matter if you grab a stole at the bar or reserve a table in this quaint little restaurant, the service is great! Their wine is delicious and their pasta is to die for!!! HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend!!

This place was amazing! My husband myself two of our friends went there for my birthday and the food was out of this world! I was so shocked at how good the food really was and the restaurant was very quite and intimate and the people there were very nice and helpful. Amazing place can't wait to go back for my birthday again next year!

AMAZING italian food! Great selection of drinks. The bartender made a friggin solid old fashioned. Waitress was cool. Everyone was friendly. We got there shortly after they opened and were seated right away. Would totally reccomend. The pizza is amazing as well

Excellent place to get Italian food in Milwaukee. We did not have a reservation so we sat at the bar and I would say had an even better experience. Staff is very friendly and funny. Food was on point. Save room for dessert.

We were out on a date and had a great experience. Our server, Emily, was awesome as was the food. We did a ravioli app and then scallops and a nightly special. Prices are reasonable and plenty of food. We will be back to try the pizza next time.

Delicious Italian cuisine. Great pizza. Very small interior so be sure to make a reservation if you want to get a table. Tables are close together. Located on a residential neighborhood, so a little tricky to find on your first visit....you won't be expecting a restaurant, but it is there!!

I came here with my family in need of a refreshing and delicious meal after a long day at the lake. Tenutas exeeded our expectations by far. The service and food that we recieved was AMAZING and I would definitely recommend this restraunt to friends and family.

Ridiculously fresh and delicious Italian food with great service in a very quaint setting. We took a Lyft from downtown and it was sooo worth it. Calamari, arancini and meatballs were amazing and very light. Definitely try the basil martini; very refreshing. Entre portions were more than adequate and tasty as well.

This is my go-to when I'm craving Italian food. Tenuta's is a really intimate, quiet corner Italian restaurant in a residential area of the Bay View neighborhood. If you go during the summer, you can dine outside on the sidewalk. The wine list is great, and they make the best Spaghetti Bolognese I've ever had last time I was there... It actually caused a little bit of a situation: I was full, but kept eating because it was so good. I paid the check and practically rolled home.

This place has the best pizza it is my first time ordering from them and I will only order pizza from Tenuta's from now on

I've had the pleasure of dining at Tenuta's several times and it has been marvelous every time! You can't lose with any of the pastas, and the pizza is mighty good as well.

Very good Italian resident. Good size dishes. We ordered burrata which was awesome. For main dishes we ordered lasagna, gnocchi, raised beef short ribs and chicken parmesano. All dishes were very tasteful. Presentation was very nice as well. Service very friendly. Definitely returning in the near future.

Everyone I took said they liked it. I thought it was very nice. At the moment I can't find the exact words to describe the early evening, but they all would be very good! Look forward to a return visit!

My favorite Italian food place in entire Milwaukee area. A must!!!

I ordered pizza from their take out off Howard and being from Chicago naturally my expectations for pizza are a little bit high. This place Rocks was AWESOME so happy this opened up down the street from me great service as well can t wait to try other things off the menu.

We went around 445 and got a seat at the bar right away. The restaurant filled up really fast after we arrived. Bar service was friendly and fast. Food was priced as I'd expect for a small Italian restaurant, and really tasty. Definitely will be back.

One of the nicest places for dates. It has an intimate and friendly atmosphere. The food is great. Prices are reasonable. I recommend this place.

Great experience. The attentiveness of the wait staff was superb. The staff was always there to refill the water, take your plates or make sure you had everything you needed to enjoy your meal. My wife had the Zucca and I had the pork chop special. Both were done to perfection. The canola was also delicious. Looking forward to going back and trying more selections.
