Temple Sholom of Chicago Review

This building serves as a polling location. A person in charge of the building here (not an election judge) were illegally asking voters for paper documentation that their animals were service animals and turning them away if they could not produce papers. When I informed the man that it was illegal to ask for papers, he was rude and yelled at me for speaking up. It was reported to those overseeing disability concerns at the Board of Elections who confirmed that it was in fact illegal to ask for paper proof.

Temple Sholom has the nicest Staff and Members. They really care about you.

Beautiful temple. A key Chicago historical landmark but, limited parking because of location.

Speaks of embrace feels hostile and gated. Not welcoming. Came to get inspired left underwhelmed and disgusted.

An extraordinary clergy, staff and congregation in a beautiful, sacred space. Warm and welcoming.

Speaking as a gentile who's never been to a temple before, it's a very pretty building and was a lovely bat mitzvah service.

This place is my polling place but is an awesome Temple. They are a pillar in our community helping people out all the time. We also have had out condominium meetings there. I really like the people there and respect them. They are great people just like the rest of our diverse community.
