2.5 years of being disrespected. Glad I finally walked away. Favoritism is the most important here. There is no incentive to be a good employee. I would not reccomend this company unless it is your only option.

Do not even waste your time, this company will leave you waiting. I did the assessment and contacted Robyn as informed she did not answer, I left a voice mail. A week went by with out any contact, I contacted again and when I finally go on the phone with Robyn she did not have my information correct. Instead of doing her job she made up excuses for why she did not feel I was qualified, but could not figure out a good reason why when I asked questions. Instead of keeping the call professional she began to get an attitude I figured if this is how HR acts I have a better change at being out on the streets then to give my all to a company that will treat you like dirt.

Applied, followed instructions to go off campus to a contactor. Called them repeatedly. Nothing. 1 year and 1 day later a Manager with HR emailed me asking about what happened. When told she got snotty with me. Lacks professional systems and standards, unless 1 year for dropped app.s is regarded as average or fast here. My experience with call centers was only American Airlines, and Time Warner, each for more than 3 years, so I am beyond qualified. Years of commission sales also. If you want to be blamed when your boss drops the ball, waste time here.

Where do I begin?

Where do I begin?
Hiring Process: I was hired for a Technical Support role. I applied online went in for an interview, got the job, and had about 3 weeks before training began.
Job Offer: Competitive wages, full benefits, and full time hours.
Professionalism: I was insulted and yelled at my second day of orientation by a HR Recruiter. She said my name sounded like a disease and said it sounds like something you need a prescription for. She also yelled at me for not being on the correct page why she was going through the on boarding process. Lack of respect, and professionalism from someone of authority. This seems to a pattern with SOME not all of those in positions of power.
Training: They will offer anyone a job that can make it past the interview. Diversity is evident but there are mass amounts of people who do not meet the qualifications. They do not hire for attrition, therefore they keep unqualified individuals in the class, and people who do not respect the code of conduct or professional values.
Trainers have to deal with disrespectful adults, and those who want to learn are punished for other adults actions. They also do not seem to get the support they need from training management. My class was punished multiple times as a collective for the actions of select individuals.
Final Thoughts:
This is a good company to work for if you can make it past the training and everything that comes with it. I personally have experienced a lot of work environments and a lot of non sense but nothing of this nature.

My daughter just started working at Telus, and I can't say enough good things about this company. From their work culture to training, Telus is a phenomenal company. If you want to work for a company that understands that employees come first to succeed then this is it.

Been here a little under a year and I love it. To be honest, I do believe your love for this place will depend on where you are placed. This is my first time in a call center and it honestly couldn't have been a better choice.

I have only heard about bedbugs in reviews here, haven't seen any myself so far. I do know however, this entire neighborhood (surrounding complexes and store) also have or had a problem with them. So its honestly not just this building that has a supposed history of them.

Anyway, I hope this has been helpful to people thinking of applying. If you do, good luck and I hope you end up in a fun campaign. If not, I hope you find a job you can enjoy.

And no, unlike what someone here commented, im no manager. (Someone said something about managers putting good reviews or some stuff like that)

Horrible company. Hires you, doesn't train you for two weeks, then fires you for not learning what they never taught you. Treats their people worse than livestock, during an unprecedented international pandemic. Scum of the earth.
