THE ABSOLUTE WORST!!!! There is no organization or oversight here!! It's so hard to get an answer from a real person and it seems like everyone there understands what they are doing and laughing about it?? Cause I just can't imagine how they could still function with the experience I had with them.

As an ATalk customer the service was great . Telehop takes over and it s been nothing but trouble . Knocked offline for 17 days because of a line issue in downtown Oshawa, knocked offline for 6 days because they disconnected my service instead of my dead mother in law and now I m knocked offline for no apparent reason but it will take 10 to 14 business days minimum to possibly assist me and put me back online and it is of no concern to them that when your career is entirely online that you get service any quicker .
After having no choice but calling a competitor who can have me back online by Tuesday I called Telehop only to be hung up on 4 times ! I ve been hung up on 9 times in 24hrs by this company- and now they want my bill paid in full with no reimbursement or credit for the inconvenience of the fact that I m offline for the 10 days left of this month and the no choice but to find another company. STAY AWAY !

I have two companies on this service. excellent fail-over options and an excellent support team. Telehop continues to improve and impress our companies.
While cost is always an issue with any service, it's about value for the money, it's about reliability most of all it's the personal service.
I did read the other comments, some good, some bad. I feel that it is perception. I think if you send a simple email to support@telehop.biz you get timely results and personal service. I think if you sit in a queue on the phone, you wait a bit long as it is a small company with the same 8-10 reps. It's better than supporting over sized companies that only they "we want your business". I live in the "show me what you got world" and it works.

I have a contract for long distance with this company and looks like they sell resources they don't have. Very often I get the message "all circuits are busy" I complained a few times nothing happened. Useless customer service.

One of the worst experiences I have ever had with a telecommunications company (Even worse than Bell and Rogers). I will never buy any services from them ever again. The call quality was horrible, a lot of the time the other side would not hear me or the line would not work. And when it worked, the call would randomly cut off. So I disconnected the service. (this is not the bad part)

After cutting off the service and returning the voip device. I get a call from a collections agency (2 years later) stating that I owe them money for the product and I have no choice but to pay them or they will ruin my credit score.

These guys had the nerve to first offer bad service and then tried to pull more money from me by stating that I had not retuned the device and want another $80. WOW!!

The collections agent even said that Telehop gave them a TON of accounts to collect money. This leads me to assume that they are going after all their old customers to get money out of them and trying what works. Which is a good money making scheme....

I had an EXTREMELY bad experience with these guys.

Do your self a favour and go to anther company, there are plenty of companies that offer cheaper service at a better price go to them.

Absolutely the WORST company for trying to cancel the long distance plan. I set up the long distance plan for my elderly mother about 6 years ago and they direct bill MY credit card. (set up that way) On Sept 15/17 she had a stoke. Well, they wanted to talk to HER to verify that it was her. Well she could not speak in hospital. I had sent out a letter by email with a reference number that they had given me stating the circumstances on Sept 30/17 and no reply. Well my mother passed away on Oct 15/17 and when I contacted Telehop on Oct 23/17 they gave me nothing but the runaround. Now they want me to send them a death certificate? Really? for $5.60 per month I have to jump through all these hoops? Do NOT deal with this company!

Their rates and internet service are great and reliable, but their customer service and technical support are awful. Never in my life have I experienced such poor customer service, where I was continually told that no one was available to talk to me, but that they would call me back later and never received a call. Despite their awesome rates, I had to cancel my service and switch to a new internet service provider because of their lack of support and customer service. Their affordable rates are simply not worth it.

I had good internet for past few years when it was called ATalk so a 4 star for that but 2 years after telehop came on internet frequently stops working and phone support lines have been out of service for past hours...
we had alot of issues with our internet so we finally cancelled after many many hours of customer service
At this time Telehop has blocked my number and I can not call them. I use someone else's phone to call them as we still have a terrible long distance plan with them. They deny this but when ever I call them from my cell the call gets disconnected.

Our company has VoIP Services from Telehop and it provides excellent service and network. We are highliy satisfied with the pricing and support as well. I would definitely recommend Telehop services.
