This company Does NOT Listen to doctors, physiotherapists or patients at all... . I Had an ankle break and muscle injury that both required surgery... When I could finally get back to work I was cleared by doctor any physiotherapy for Part Time at 12 hours a week with an increase In hours of 4-6 hours weekly (add another half shift a week or hours to the days already being worked) they Simply told my employer I could work 40 hour weeks..... this company is useless, they do not listen to ANYONE written oral or otherwise whether doctor, therapist or patient to a point where it is almost abusive.....
We had them look at our claims for cost relief. We paid money for no results. I finally searched around afterwards and figured out that other companies have cheaper rates.
Absolute incompetence . The turn over is so bad that I had 4 mangers in 3 months. Each time a new case manager would phone and ask for details that I explained to the previous. It is a made up job as far as I can see. They do nothing but call you and harass you no matter what the doctor gives for a return to work date. Work safe and doctor suggested to just ignore them as they serve no useful purpose and only clutter the process by involving another irrelevant party. Just ignore them and block their calls.

If I could give zero stars I would. Suffered a serious crushed ankle injury at work. Management told Teksmed program is optional so I signed a document declining it. From day on even though I declined the kept harassing me to the point that I now have severe anxiety and depression on top of my physical injuries.
READ CAREFULLY. You are under no legal obligation to speak to TeksMed. This company will do everything possible to ensure that you do not fully recover from your injury by sending letters via mail claiming that you are declining to go back to work.
This companies main goal is to ensure that you return to work as quickly as possible regardless of the extent of your injury. I slipped and fell at work breaking my arm, I got an X-ray and I needed a cast to be placed on my arm and was prescribed pain killers and anti-inflammatory medications. I received a letter from TeksMed the next day via express post after breaking my arm claiming that I was declining to return to work. I then started getting HARASSING phone calls from TeksMed asking me why I am not going back to work 2 days after breaking my arm. The HARASSING calls and HARASSING voicemails didn t stop. I was adviced to speak to an attorney who specialized in workplace injuries and was told that I was under no legal obligation to speak to TeksMed. I plan on initiating a Law Suit against TeksMed shortly after I recover for HARASSMENT.
Speak ONLY to WorkSafe and avoid all contact with TeksMed. Contact your local MLA and send a notarized letter to the Labor Minister.

We had them do an audit for us with no results. We had another company come in and do the same thing and actually got results. Results speak for themselves.
