Enduring COVID business downtown Columbus is tough. We came for a late lunch and went for the buffalo recommendations. Service was amazing, owner thanked us for having us in difficult times. Restaurant looks cool and inviting and we are looking forward to go there the first possible occasion. Honest food, honest service

It's been a while since I had been here and I was looking forward to bringing my son, who loves bacon cheeseburgers. It's a tough place to get into, almost impossible on a Bluejackets game night. I got reservations weeks in advance. We had bison bacon cheeseburgers and they were awesome. Thick and juicy, full of flavor. Server was a great guy, joking around with us. I told him immediately that I had been looking forward to that bison bacon cheeseburger and onion rings for quite a while, whether I could change the fries for onion rings or just add an order. He said you can actually get half and half, which we did. They have the best onion rings you'll ever have too. He also brought small cuos of ketchup and Mayo, as I had mentioned Mayo for my burger. The presentation of the sandwich is wonderful, open face with grilled onions on it and a pile of lettuce, tomato, onion and pickels beside. The restaurant was packed with a 2 hour waiting line. It took 1 hour to be seated, order, eat and pay. We only waited 20 minutes for food. The atmosphere was great too, pre-game crowd. My son's friend who eats almost nothing, even tried a plain bison burger and liked it as well. An overall great experience. We even sat across from "Leo", the National Anthem Singer for the Bluejackets.

We've had great experiences at other locations but this was terrible. It was clear my son's food had sat for a while, my sweet potato was undercooked, they failed to cook my wife's steak correctly twice, and the fries were lukewarm. While they discounted our check, the waiter didn't seem too concerned about the state of the food, and the manager didn't even come over.

Burgers are huge. Staff is friendly and service is good. Burgers could use a little more seasoning for my taste, but a great burger none the less.

Came in from out of town for a concert and could not have been happier with coming here to eat. Friendly staff and great service from everyone, esp Trevor who waited on us! Amazing food. My wife had the beef filet and it was cooked perfectly and one of the best filets she has had. I had the Bison pot roast and could not have been happier with my meal. It was busy and we got lucky with getting seats at the bar so make reservations or get there early if going before a show or event at the arena.

Great food, cozy place. Warm welcome, good beer selection and great home-made food. I tried the potato soup (creamy and tasty) and the blue cheese Bison Burguer. So tasty and well balanced. I loved it. First time I tried Bison meat, and I loved it. Thank you to the staff and great place to visit. I am planning a visit to Montana, I am sure that it is worth it!

They need to update their website. I went there specifically for the prime rib & they don't serve it anymore. I was so disgusted. I ended up paying $64 for a meal i didn't desire. Granted it was classic teds, which i never doubted. The food there was awesome. I just was set on the bison prime rib!
Would i go again? Most defiantly.

The bison burger was awesome. Top it off with strawberry shortcake and it's a great dinner. Emily has a great smile and makes sure you are well taken care of.

Very poor experience. Chose this restaurant for the buffalo burger. Went out of our way 5th o go there. Place is not well maintained, bar glasses all looked dirty. Tried to be friendly to bartender but he seemed indifferent and there was only two other tables with people, so he had time. 2 guys walk in who appeared to be regulars and he was ready to talk and be chipper. Burgers were ordered medium well and both were not that. Mine was medium rare. I never return food but this was not right, and we had to bring up the concerns. We were never asked how our food was? We have always had good experiences with this restaurant in Atlanta. So sad.

Great food and great service. Food portions are filling. Buffalo or bison if you like is the best.

The waitress was absolutely terrible and the bartender was just as bad :( we did have a large party of 9 so we knew the food would take some time , however the drinks shouldn't have. She barely came around, but when she did, we had to ask multiple times for drinks because she wouldn't bring them. They weren't even busy. The employees were standing around chatting with the bartender. We went without drinks (water, soda, and coffee) for a very long time. The waitress didn't acknowledge the lack of attention she was showing us either. It was very bad service.

Sadly, we weren't impressed with the food :( I couldn't eat my fries which was a disappointment because I love fries lol To me, they tasted old, but to others, it was the type of oil they used. The bacon on my burger was quite yummy though. My dad said he will buy his own bison steaks because they're better homemade. (He liked the bison steak from the Ted's Montana Grill location that just closed down.) My teenage son wasn't very happy with his steak either :( I don't know if the "cookie" was supposed to look like this or not(maybe it was supposed to look like a "patty"??? I truly don't know), but geesh, it looked rough. She did say it was good so that's a plus!

The restrooms were out of everything. My pregnant sister told the employees multiple times, but they failed to restock them the whole 2.5 hours we were there.

All in all, the only thing that was great about this place was the company I went with. We will go elsewhere for now on. Honestly, we recommend that you do too because the service and food wasn't worth the money.

Upscale but reasonably priced. The trio of mini burgers was amazing. I got to sample a bison and a beef burger. Both amazing! The service was incredibly considerate. Engaging and warm but not overbearing. Perfect place to eat after visiting the area around Nationwide Arena and the Short North. Walking distance from the North Market means you can have an adventurous time in the area.

Great food. The interior design and layout of booth seating is outdated in my opinion. Good customer service. Only thing holding this place together is the food. Shoutout to the cooks the real MVP's. I'm visiting from out of town.

It was a Lenghtly wait to put my order in. The bison steak was full of flavor but the cut of meat itself was worse then a discounted Walmart steak. I expect a quailtly cut of meat for the 37 dollars I paid. The onion rings were also undercooked. I won't return to this business. I will look elsewhere for bison steaks.

This was my first time at this location, the food was excellent as always. The service was very good as well. The complementary pickels on the table always keep me coming back. My burger was very good as well!

Had a party of 6 @ 5:42 had a 1/2 he wait with kobody in site. Sat at the bar and ordered drinks arrived a while later. When we sat down and ordered we had Kevin as a waiter which he was good. We had one person who ordered a ribeye steak but got a strip steak and the manager tried to say that the strip was a ribeye even though it looked and tasted like a strip. So very disappointed in that. I also got a ceaser but I've had a better ceaser @ outback. I might come back if the group I came with hadn't been been here.

I heard the bison steak with a side of asparagus and sweet potato. Steaks were great, but the sides were very plain without spices or much seasoning.

Was by far the worst Ted Montana's I've eaten at. I normally go to the one in Easton rolls were hard, steak over cooked waiter ran off before completing taking our order. Definitely not the standard I've been accustomed to from Atlanta to Easton way the pregnant waitress was really nice though and helpful even though she wasn't our waiter. I probably won't be coming back to this location highly disappointed

My fish sandwich was cold. Ordered the 50/50 fries and onion rings. They were over cooked. Almost burnt. Was pretty disappointed.

The bison burger was not great. Service was very good and the prices are reasonable. Extremely crowded before hockey game at nationwide arena!

I loved this place during my stay in Columbus. I ate here 3 times! Very good burgers and beers are ice cold! You won t be disappointed

I have been eating at Ted s for years, it is one of mine and my husbands favorite restaurants. We ve noticed quite the decline in service and quality but after last night, Ted s will never again get our service.
As I walked backed to the bathrooms I noticed the manager Melissa very obviously drunk. By the time I came back out of the bathroom she was asleep on the floor.
I ve never seen such unprofessional behavior, now I understand why the restaurant has gone to hell. It s sad.

My husband brought me here on a Saturday right before the Blue Jackets game. It was very busy and we had about a 30 min wait. It was well worth it. I tried the Bison burger (Canyon Creek) without the egg. It was AMAZING!!! Best burger I've ever had. I will for now love Bison burgers OMG! My husband had the Bison NY Strip Delic .

This place is on point! The food is delicious. The waiter was attentive and fast. Refilled our drinks without even asking. Spacious clean environment. Food is always fresh. This is a place that you should definitely try.

Great food and great bison slider-burgers but the service was not so good today. And the potato chips were a bit soft/soggy.

This location of Ted's in the arena district is THE BEST in the city! The management is top notch... always making sure customer is happy and everything is perfect. I usually get the bison filet and it is has always been cooked perfectly. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this restaurant. It is my favorite...I could eat there every day! GO GO GO try it! 5 on food, management, and wait staff!

Food was good but the atmosphere wasn't for me, VERY loud and more of a bar scene than anything.

Order the chicken. They can't cook a medium rare burger to safe their lives, every burger I've gotten here has been well done. I've eaten here multiple times (usually not by choice and in a group) and it's always been a mediocre experience.

Ok so the food was quite passable. The service was oddly tense. The seating took a while and there was plenty of spaces. We were passed without regard by every employee barring the cooks. When the receptionist finally regarded us we were sat as if we did something wrong. And when the server was present she was quite nice .... but the issue was her being present. It seemed to take forever to return after each interaction. The bill ... I often judge a place based on if they charge for tap soda water. This place charged for everything!! Including my soda water. I give it 3 stars cause I assume the above interaction may have been a bad day. But in a service industry you don't get to have bad days.

The staff was friendly and of course the food was filling and amazing. I will have to go back just to try their dessert...loved it!!!

I loved the food! The bison burgers are a must-have. The waiters are very friendly and that only compliments the food here. I had a taste of my colleague's steak salad and it was pretty good also. They have a wide variety of burgers and others and they allow you to mix and match ingredients as you please. Their onion rings are also pretty good. Will definitively be visiting Ted's again in the near future!

Very nice! Best French fries I've ever had! And I'm not a French fry lover. Perfect lunch before a good bball game.

Food was not as good as the Easton Columbus location, was very disappoined. Staff was a little wierd. To say the lease I will not be back to the downtown Columbus Ohio location.

Had a bison burger and it was delicious. The drinks were good but pricey. The only problem was that we were there for around an hour and a half and we hardly ever saw our waitress. It seemed like she was overwhelmed, but this was our first time so I do not know if this is normal. Still had a good time though.

Food was hands down delicious!!! The staff was very rude, judgmental, and not that friendly. My husband and I walked in and wanted to grab dinner before our concert started, and they obviously didn't like our attire. They sat us in the back next to the kitchen and they hardly checked in on us. This would have been 5 stars for me if they were just more attentive and less rude.. Your food was great though!!

Went here for lunch yesterday had the worst experience. Waited to be sat for several minutes after the hostess looked me right in the face, then waited almost 15 minutes for the server to show up. Put the order for drinks and food in, after 25-30 minutes of only having my pop I decided to leave. 1 hour lunch from work and 45 almost 50 minutes of that was just waiting. Mind you, there were a handful of people in the restaurant total. At least the food was decent. Won't be returning for a while. Maybe the night staff should replace the day staff, because I neevrr had this issue at night when the place is way busier.

miss the Ted's in my hometown, was very excited to find this plane in Columbus!

We will never return to this restaurant... server was horrible. I really don't think he was even listening to anything we said when we initially ordered our food because there was something wrong or left out in our orders. Plus completely forgot about the dessert i ordered, but who cares right, it's only THEIR loss... yes, we will not be back.

Best Salmon burger I have ever had! Quick friendly service. We sat at the bar. 1920's decor feel. Clean restroom. Across the street from Nationwide arena. Definitely going back.

The food here is great! I love the table pickles they bring out. I like the atmosphere of the decor. My favorite dish to order is a bison burger and fries. It never disappoints. They also offer outdoor seating for the warmer months, if you'd like to sit outside instead of in. Stop by and check them out!

actually post event I would like to revise my rating, the attention we received towards the end of the dinner from management made us feel important and that they took care and note of the matter which was not typical, this attention and making the situation right made me feel they care. Classy place with the best hamburgers and bison burgers around!

The bison burger is an excellent choice. Everything that I've tried from this restaurant is delicious. The service is awesome.

The food was good. I paid $10 for the smallest margarita of my life though... A bit miffed about that.

I loved this place, the service was good and the bison was great.

We walked I yesterday 8-3-19 and told them we had a party of 8. The gentlemen sitting at the table inside the door immediately said "Let is turn these tables for you so you have plenty of room." and they moved to a booth to continue their meeting. Give of the people with us were experiencing Ted's for the first time and they all loved it and can't wait to return. Our waitress Tatyana was fabulous. We absolutely love the food and I highly recommend the Avalon Bison Burger as well as the Buffalo 41 cocktail as a drink.

The entrance was dark so I thought it was closed, but once I got to the door I saw people standing inside. I got seated right away, but it took a while to get my drink and order taken. After that service was great. The plastic table cloth cover was worn out and torn in the corner. Should be a little more detail oriented when it come to presentation to the customer.

My boyfriend and I went here while visiting Columbus for the weekend, we were both not impressed at all and would not go back or recommend this restaurant to anyone. Our server was very dull and did not seem like a people person at all, he didn t make any eye contact with us and as soon as he took our order he rushed away. I ordered the filet with green beans and mashed potatoes, the mashed potatoes tasted like they were refrigerated then reheated but they weren t even warm, they were cold. The steak was not a high quality meat at all, needless to say I didn t eat any of my meal because I was afraid I would have gotten sick. Also I walked past the kitchen to go to the bathroom and the kitchen was extremely dirty. I was extremely disappointed.

american food and the feeling at this spot is very good. Visited on Sat I believe. Staff treated us so nice. The prices are well within reason for the quality. Menu is like a place in San Francisco I loved.
