For it being the Arnold Classic, they sat us INSTANTLY. fair prices and the portions are pretty big. Wasn't a fan of the bread and shrimp app but everything else was really good. Short ribs fell right off the bone!
The bison roast was amazing. The menu is a little pricey, but if you can afford it, you should visit.
Ted's has an awesome fish sandwich...lightly breaded and fresh. The green beans were very undercooked but the asparagus was cooked to perfection and seasoned perfectly.
Best onion rings in town. Great burgers. Subtracted one star, though, because the gluten free burger bun is not good. Great sangria, though!
Came here before Columbus Beerfest. Made a reservation the day before for my party of 7. We were sat promptly by 530 and had ordered food by 5:45. Took at least 45 minutes to get our order... We had 5 burgers and 2 meatloaf dishes. It's a little crazy that took 45 minutes. To top it all off all but one of us ordered our burgers to be medium but when they arrived they were all WELL done. We didn't have time to send the food back so we just ate it. The flavors were fine and our server was friendly but mine was missing the BBQ sauce and way too dried out from over cooking. Can't say I will be back for another $16 burger that definitely isn't worth it.
The food here is really REALLY good. had me a bison delmonico. WELL WORTH THE COST. omg that CRUST! whoooo. granted the alcohol here was kinda weak, but that sweet tea?! mmmmmm. *smack lips* as good as your diabetic grandma before sunday church.

Not down in Columbus very often but every time I come I go here for buffalo burgers. They taste a hundred times better then a beef burger! And they make the burgers bigger! I really miss the taste since I live up near Cleveland.

I came in and a group came in after me. The hostess sat them 1st for no reason not sure why I was pushed aside. Took a long time for a server to arrive. Then 10 mins later another server arrives to take our order mind you we dont have drinks and the group before us is enjoying drinks and salads ....wish I could say it got better but really was a comedy of errors with little to no apology. Far cry from the experience at the Easton location. Pack some crackers if you're going...

Really amazing what Mr. Turner is doing did land conservation and the restoration of the great bison. This probably should be a five star, but expect perfection from a place at this price point. Really appreciate the variety of the menu, and the environment is nice. We all thought the food was too salty though and it took a little too long for a business lunch. Probably a simple fix ==> request low sodium and ask for a rush on the order? If that works will update this review...
Always delicious. Service was good because we arrived strategically early to beat the rush. If you're tight on a schedule and don't get there till noon you can have trouble getting out in an hour.

Omg the food is fantastic the best time to go is when the Blue Jays are having a hockey home game or when baseball season is open. Its festive and just plain gosh darn good. Check it out.
The bartender (Ryan) was amazing and the Newly Fashioned is a fantastic cocktail but the food is really expensive.

The food's good. The prices are fairly high, especially for lunch.
The bison was good but the customer service was awful. We waited over 10 minutes to be greeted after being sat down. The drinks took FOREVER to come out. The wine was served in a big portion for $8 which was nice. My steak was not cooked well done and my veggies were cold.They took it back to cook it some more but it came back as medium well. I was too hungry so I just are it at that point. We made reservations ahead of time and it just isn't a place I'd recommend due to poor service. Server was nice and did comp my drink bc of the ill-prepared order. Everyone enjoyed the food and the quantity but we won't be going back.
Update: sent out an email as suggested by owner, no response.
I was disappointed in the service and the food quality. We were seated and it took about 10 minutes before someone asked for our drink order. It took another 8 minutes to bring 2 of the 4 waters. It took about another 5 minutes to bring the remaining 2 waters. The waitress didn't make eye contact or show any personality, and didn't even acknowledge our table the multiple times she walked by. After she brought the remaining waters, she did a "drive-by" and placed a side of ketchup on our table saying "here ya go" without looking at anyone at the table or offering to refill multiple water glasses. About 25 minutes later our food arrived and when our food finally came and 3 of the 4 meals were delivered. I waited 5 minutes longer for my NY strip with mashed potatoes and broccoli to arrive and it came without the broccoli. I waited a few more minutes for broccoli (and yes we were timing because we thought the wait was taking a while), which arrived crispy and with no flavor. My steak was super fatty and burnt on one side.
The others in my group didn't have positive things to say about their food either. We were very disappointed for the cost and wait with the quality of food we received. Not once during our visit did we get eye contact from our server, an apology or acknowledgement of the wait, or anything from our server that we didn't need to specifically ask for.
Food was great! We had bacon cheeseburgers with fries and onion rings. They don't skimp on the bacon, that's for sure! Also ordered cheesecake to go, but haven't gotten to that. We took half our meal home, as well. Enjoy!!
Service was good. But does that look like $5.50 asparagus? $1.10 a stalk? And the meat was tough and underseasoned. This place was a lot better five years ago.

Have dined at both Ted's locations numerous times but after my experience Tuesday evening I doubt I'll be back. We had tickets to a hockey game Tuesday evening. The location is perfect being right by the arena, but knowing it's size and the increased traffic I called Monday afternoon to see about reservations. A gentleman answered the phone and was very nice. He said they DID take reservations but I likely didn't need them. I said it would be for tomorrow evening at 6pm and he said that was fine - I gave him my name, phone number and number of guests, he said he had us down for tomorrow, see you then. When we arrived at the restaurant at 6pm it was packed and there was a wait just as I suspected - I went up to the hostess and said I had a reservation for 6pm, she quickly flipped her wait pages around and then looked up and said "we don't take reservations". I was completely dumbfounded but tried to explain to her the phone call from yesterday, again she looks up and says, "we don't take reservations, it's 45 minutes do you want to wait or not?" She clearly looked down, lifted the wait list and looked at the one underneath before stating they didn't take reservations - I felt like if that was really the case it should have rolled right off her tongue without her needing to look over her papers. I'm not one to cause a scene in the middle of a busy restaurant so we left. We have made reservations at the Dublin location in the past and never had a problem, I assumed this would be the same but it was far from it. I was furious - and couldn't figure out if the person I talked to on the phone the day before was mistaken/lying or if the hostess was up to something with her bizarre paper shuffling. Ended up having wonderful service at Buca Di Beppo so we were able to make the game on time, but I still was angry about the situation and embarrassed, we were with another couple and everyone was under the impression there would be a table waiting for us.
Burgers are always tasty! Service was good today. I enjoy dining here regularly.

We were there twice during a 3 day stay. Both visits were very good. The Avalon Bison burger is like 6 or 7 stars.
Ted's is the best. This one in particular gets heckin' crowded though since it's next to Nationwide arena.
Terrific Service. Food was delicious and the bison options make this a unique place to visit and enjoy with friends. Appetizers were filling, so unless you want to take home part if your entree go light on the appetizers. Will definitely return.
My food was good but quality varied amoung our group (we had 12 people). It was a Saturday lunch and they were under staffed.
I enjoy going there because the wait staff greet me like we've known each other for years and of course the food. The food there is good. Always made how you want it. And the place is appealing to the eye and a bison head hanging on the wall! Great place.
They were accomodating for a group of 12, BUT we had a 5:45 reservation and they were already out of many menu items, bison was a big reason for going there. They had limited dessert options, part of a July feature, and we were not told up front. The waiter was not assisted when time to bring out meals. Management was not on their game, for sure. That said, they were very good at helping me choose menu items that considered my numerous food allergies.
Absolutely terrible experience. The waiter, Tommy, was good, but he's the only good thing. Food took an hour and a half to get and it wasn't even busy. When we finally got the food, it wasn't cooked right and some was hardly cooked at all. To top it all off we even found a clump, literally a clump, of hair in one of our burgers. Absolute waste of time and money.
Went in last Sunday. Understaffed. Server was absolutely clueless. Suggested maybe we could get the manager to wait on us because that was the only way we were going to get food service. To say his attitude was unprofessional was an understatement. I believe it was the new managers first night based on the old google reviews I guess they necessitated new management. Food was average at best. Ordered a signature Manhattan and it tasted like sugar water which I chalked up to further confusion between an old-fashion and a Manhattan. Very sad. Highlights if any was the greeter who was chipping in where she could. She stated it was her first week as well. I would go elsewhere for these prices. Of course that close to the stadium district they do not have to try that hard so I guess they are setting the bar very very low.
Seating can get a little hairy if you have more than 4 people but otherwise, timely service, fantastic food.
Awesome bison steak. So good. Some of the food is pretty close to mom's. Like the pot roast.... go to this place if you ever get a chance! Better than Texas Road House.

I m actually not into burgers these past months because I m planning to reduce my weight. Yep, somebody is on a diet here. But it happened that I saw this Burgeria and their place looked so compelling. My feet walked on their own and I knew back then that my promised diet thingy was in grave danger.
I ordered the Canyon Creek Bison Burger with a side of 50/50 fries and onion rings. Requested med - rare and that's just what I received. Enjoyed the complementary fresh pickles and paper straws. Atmosphere is enhanced by seating in semiprivate booths. Service was impeccable, thanks Abraham! The Blue Jackets were off and wait was minimal.
The food is excellent. Steaks cooked perfectly and seasoned deliciously. My only concern was having only 1 waiter in there, plus he was bartending, too. The hostess was sitting down and looked like she might have been studying and/or on her phone, instead of helping out.
The $38 bison steak was kind of salty, had to send it back because it was too rare. This steak tasted very good even though they salted it extensively before it was served.
The chopped chicken salad was tasty. And the table service for lunch was on point.
I really like this place and they food. The decor makes you feel like you're in the old timey west a little bit. The lemonade is sweet and tart, I love it! There was one thing that was kinda off putting. I don't think the restaurant has had a deep cleaning since it opened. Restrooms were dirty and there was dirt all over the ceiling air vents. 5 stars if the deep cleaned it.

The food I've had here definitely hasn't been bad, but each time I've gone I've never been thoroughly impressed, especially considering the final price of our meal.
The cocktails aren't too great and are definitely over priced for what you get. The beer selection is also lacking. They have mostly domestic beers on tap, with one or two local selections available.
The service has been mostly good during the few times that I've visited this restaurant, and I don't really have any complaints there.
For the pricepoint, however, I definitely prefer to go elsewhere.

We went there last night after the Blue Jackets game. I got the steak and potatoes and asparagus. Everything was horribly salty and I couldn't finish it! Not even close to worth what I paid and I won't be back!
Decor is a little Spartan. But if you like Bison delicious short ribs with wedge salad and garlic mashed.
Service is always top no matter what location i go to. Have been to several in Georgoa as well. I ordered a cold craft beer to go with my Bison burger. I couldnt decide between fries or onion rings so i got a half/half which is on the menu. I love bison but, if its not for you then they have beef options as well. Atmosphere is cozy and elegant with candle-like lighting. Highly recommend.
