If u go here u will get to noe how to swim. In addition to this there is this section which means you can use equipment that increases the mass of muscles in ur body whilst removing fat that makes u look fat. I only use the bit that has loads of water but still it does not require u to take out a bank loan to pay. Just turn up. Chuck a few coins over the counter. Dive in!!!!!!

I have been using this centre for years and overall, find it very good. I have a walking disability due to spinal injury & find the facilities for this are excellent with good disabled shower & changing room. The pool, floors & changing areas are generally kept clean., & staff respond quickly to any complaints on this score. I have always been impressed on the amount of activities for babies & small children, & Mums/Dads & kids. If you are living in the area, I would highly recommend this facility. It would be nice if there was an on-site cafe, but on the other hand, there are plenty nearby.

A good clean pool, not too crowded either. Small but clean shower cubicles and safe lockers to put valuables in. Staff are polite and very helpful. A most enjoyable swimming experience, which I hope to repeat next time I visit.

No frills pool but nothing missing at all - good sized clean changing rooms; usually plenty of space in the car park; standard and learner pool - with clearly published float times / club times etc on the website. Nice tall windows letting in lots of light. Default pool to visit - has everything you'd need.

Love the swimming pool! It's shorter that the outdoor Hampton pool though. Very reasonably priced classes. However, I went to a yin yoga class and it wasn't a yin yoga class (it was a general hatha) so if would be worth management checking the quality and descriptions of their classes. Also, fyi the changing rooms are unisex and the showers are a little worse for wear.

Interesting for parents!

Interesting for parents!
My experience with the children's swimming lessons at Teddington.
People have to go though a ridiculous process of staying in line on cold Sunday early mornings, in order to get a place for their child.
The fees are ofcourse high.
Personally now, to set the stage, my 7yo knows how to swim, had lessons for a few years now and every summer we are swimming at sea and pool.
Today, a few months into his lessons at Teddington, my son is being put through "tests" to see if he is fit to advance to a next level and he is found "not fit" to progress.

Results after the first month's there: My 7yo crying and feeling sorry for himself, feeling like he is not good enough and that's just wrong, as far as swimming lessons are concerned.

They manage to create serious complexes to young children, instead of helping them advance and build up themselves through swimming.

Ofcourse, I can't help but realise that they are leaving them on the same level so they can keep them longer enrolled...

In April/ May, I could not walk, I had 2 trapped nerves in my back. I started hydro therapy 3 timeswa week. Since then I have got better each week, halved my tablets and am walking well. I am so grateful to have such a facility near my home. SJ

So glad the pool is still there, I have used it a lot over the years. Mid-week it is very quiet and provides peaceful and fun excercise. It is usually not warm per se. But definately heated. So getting in is fine all year round. Well staffed. Changing rooms are clean, there are plenty of lockers. Some are usually in need of repair but they replaced older ones and the new ones are good because the key was stiff in some of the old ones. Now it's easy to turn, a child can do it. We are not talking luxury or finery, but if you want to swim in SW London this is one of the best places to go. You can also use student cards.

Pool no good if you want a relaxing, after work swim. Half the pool roped off every eve for classes, which means the lanes are packed. Men get narky if you hold them up, splash you as they swim past and spit pool water out, which is really unpleasant when you re in such close proximity to them. I ve given up and won t return, I love swimming, but I can t bear this pool.

I was going for a swim today, checked their online schedule to make sure the pool is available, but sadly I arrived and they have an event at the pool for another hour so instead of working out, I head to the local coffee shop to put on more calories :-( Please keep your online schedule up to date!

Love the staff at this centre. I'm a regular swimmer (wherever I am) and have gone to quite a few pools/gyms. The staff here are great and make me feel welcome everytime. Gym staff are great at giving that extra eye/few pointers or leaving you completely be depending on what you want. It's quite a small gym but generally there's not too many people in there (I go at peak times and have always been able to get the equipment I want at some point). There's a few of each of the standard cardio machines, the standard resistance machines and then the free-weights sections. They have a couple of free-weights sections and a separate stretching area so none of them get too crowded. There could be a few more mirrors/ mirrors that go slightly lower down but otherwise it's a pretty decent space.
Good sized spinning studio and aerobics studio to accommodate the great range of classes available.
Watch out for club training times with the pool as it leaves lane times pretty restricted to within the working day :( The pool is also slightly funny as it is noticeably heated at one end, so as you swim away from the shallow end it feels cold and back it feels hot (proof that human heat sensitivity is relative). There is a decent sized children's pool as well.

Really nice, clean swimming pool with a kids' pool and hydrotherapy pool available too. Changing rooms are all clean and tidy too. Most of the staff are students but are all very helpful and friendly.
