The great historical palace. This was the residence of Prince Udaysinghrao Shivajirao Gaekwad, Shivajirao was the 3rd son of His Highness King Sir Sayajirao Gaekwad ji.
At present princess Shardraje Gaekwad is owning this palace. At present this palace is used as a Hotel and being offered for celibration of Marriage, Reception like social functions. Great antique and ancient construction. Have large land planted with lawn, where outdoor decorations makes it so enrich.

It was royal palace before which is converted to commercial hotel .

ACTUALLY THERE IS AN OFFICE OF FRANKLIN TEMPELTON MUTUAL FUND OFFICE. I VISITED THIS OFFICE.

It's a heritage in the center of Vadodara and they rent the place for marriages and parties also.

Nice place and well maintained by New Management. Best options for Events and Marriage functions. Parking and Restrooms are perfectly planned. Huge Lush green Area for functions and traditionally maintained Royal hall and Rooms are also excellent. Food quality is excellent and decorating also well designed.

Shiv Mahel palace is located on main busy road. Palace was built in in 1936 for Sayajirao's third son Shivajirao.

The Palace is now used as Hotel and given for conventions, marriages etc.
Has vast open lands. Can grow better lawns, greenery in the land. They should give parking inside. Wheel chair accessible parking.

It is mostly shut down.. Earlier it used to be rented out for weddings and all.. These days I don't see many events happening here. Rentals for weddings were very expensive but it used to be the best... These days you see it open only for some exhibitions once in a while

Fantastisc place for marriage and reception in Vadodara. You have to plan for decorations and catering seprately but its worth it.
