I will never go that girl that did my hair I had wait 15 mins to get my hair wash. I sat at the shampoo bowl for awhile the as the stylist played and talked with her visitor not cool when I drove a hour to get there she ask her style my hair a certain way and she did not listen what a waste of 3 hours the shampoo guy did amazing job in shampooing my hair.
I haven't visited the salon and maybe never will. Just called with some preliminary questions and the girl who answered the phone, identified herself as the manager, was dry and and unprofessional. Her tone was unwelcoming and she seemed quite bothered to answer my simple questions. I was really intrigued to give one of the stylist in particular my support. However, I do not spend my hard earned money ANYWHERE that I don't feel comfortable; I don't care how popular the establishment is. This philosophy is knowing your worth. I live in Atlanta and there isn't anything special about this place that couldn't be achieved at another salon.
I have been a client of Aida s for at least 10 years and I couldn t imagine going anywhere else. From day 1 she has always kept me looking amazing! Love the quality of the hair provided and the staff...definitely a great group of people that I call family.
This lady does an amazing job from what I can see. I want to give her a chance with my head.
IF I COULD GIVE HER NO STARS I WOULD PLEASE READ!!!! I wouldn't recommend that you go here if you have course hair. I really don't like writing reviews but I'm highly dissatisfied with my hair. Aida posted on instagram that her roller wrap technique worked on all hair types and that's not the case. She trimmed my ends and she barely blew my hair out to give me a proper trim. She gave me a roller wrap set and told me that my hair wouldn't be as silky as all her other clients that she post on IG but never told me my hair would revert 20 mins later after styling. After she finished styling my hair she pressed the roots and she suggested that I go home and bantu know my hair. WHY DO I NEED GO HOME AND DO EXTRA STUFF WHEN YOU ARE SUPPOSE TO BE A HAIRSTYLIST. So I went home flat ironed my hair and noticed that my hair is not even what so ever. SO I HAD TO CUT AT LEAST A 1/2 INCH because she did a poor job at trimming my hair mind you I went from almost bra strap length to collar bone. The next day I called asking for a full refund and she told me she could fix my hair but not refund me my full $85 dollars. Your customers always comes first and this is not an even trade you took my money and didn't give me what I wanted. So I hope this helps someone out don't let IG fool you honey. She's a nice person but I would never let her put her hand in my head ever again. I had a picture for you guys but she keeps taking it off of google. Maybe she can't take it off of yelp

Ordered body wave bundles from this company after being a follower of her youtube channel. Spent almost 300.00 on the hair. Waste of my money. Bundles were THEE ABSOLUTE WORST!! Flat ironed them really well and by the end of the night the were tangled and messy like I bought cheap hair. I have gotten better hair off Amazon. I guess its true what they say...you live and you learn!!!

Aida is the best in Atlanta to go to for natural hair. She is very sweet and very professional. She responds quickly to appointment requests and was so friendly when I met her. The products she uses to wash your hair leaves it clean and silky. The last time I went to Studio Techilo, there was a man (her assistant) who washed my hair and he did so good!!! Literally used all his strength to wash my hair. Lol! (I'm big on the wash because my hair is very thick.) She doesn't add any additional products so the shine you see on the salon's Instagram is because of her technique. The East African rollers are amazing. My hair stays silky for a very long time. I've been to many stylists in Atlanta but Aida is the best. She strengthens and focuses on the health of your natural hair. And you don't have to be in the salon six hours like some places. The few times I've been to Aida, I've been in and out in about 1 1/2 hours. Not sure if that's the norm, but that's my experience. Love Studio Techilo!
P.S. Not sure what that one bad review was about.. Seems like the young lady may have went home, washed her hair and attempted to re-straighten it. I ve never had the problem she had and our hair looks to be the same texture.
My experience with Danni was one that was unmatched she exceeded my expectations It was my first time getting tape extensions and she made it a pleasant experience. During the whole process I felt and look beautiful. She also color my hair and trim it (didn t think my hair could get back brown without looking green but DANNI got me together) plus she actually knew what a trim was didn t cut too much hair. I most definitely will be back and tell as many people about STUDIO TECHILO and my experience with Danni. Btw I can t forget the other HairSlayer he didn t do my hair but HE WAS SO WELCOMING, made jokes, very professional, and the way he SLAYED that sew-in on his client I just know you can t go wrong with ANYONE AT STUDIO TECHILO

I purchased the I- tip bundles 22 inch. My package came in good time. However when I open my package I received the thinnest bundles I've seen. It was almost a quarter of the photo of the I-tip bundle on her website. The quality looks worst than "hair store" quick weave hair. Through the package you can see the damage ends and corse. Very poor quality don't waste your money ! I wasted $200+ dollars during a pandemic and the holidays very disappointed.
She did my hair with a roller set and then flat ironed a little around my edges and I absolutely love it! She's really kind and sweet and the salon is amazing!

Since relocating I haven t found a stylist I m fully comfortable with. I was seeking styles I can create at home. I came across the salon on YouTube and was pleased. I ordered 18 and 20 inch wavy clip ins. I couldn t be more happy unless Aida installed them lol! They are undetectable, priced reasonably, mailed and received timely, and blend well with my highlighted hair. I had a question, she responded timely and professionally providing concise instructions to me. Thank you Aida!
They seem to do really beautiful work. I like that they do what's best for the client's hair and seem to care. If I'm ever able to go there, I'd definitely get my hair done at this salon.
Let me first start out by saying I am extremely picky about who does my hair. A lot of salons can style/finish your hair well, but it is rare that you find a salon that focuses on HAIR CARE. I am from NY and struggle to find a stylist. It has always been a stressful process.
I was in Atl recently for a wedding and made an appointment at Studio Techilo w/Aida and was not disappointed. From the shampoo girl to the stylist they engaged me every step of the way to ensure they were meeting my expectations. They are about Hair Care and making sure your hair is healthy and well treated.
My only disappointment is that I don't live in Atlanta, because Aida and team would become my regular hair care pros. I definitely would recommend this salon and have!!
Love Aida, she is very nice and will make sure your hair not only looks great, but that it is also healthy. The prices are comparable to other salons I've been to, but you can tell by their clientele that they also care about hair health.

Just purchased a kinky curly ponytail and it s the absolute worst! I was so excited to get extensions after constantly watching the YouTube videos. I am so upset I wasted my money! Now I am forced to make it work because it s not a cheap ponytail, but truly I want to toss it! I hate this ponytail!
