Stunning architecture and extraordinary interior. Exceptional theatrical performances and excellent views from anywhere.
Antique design and refined and clean place.
Affordable prices.
Easy to reach, close to the historic center and very close to the two Toledo and Municipio underground stations. Placed in front of the Umberto Gallery and around there are many libraries.

A must if you visit Napoli. It is the oldest continuously active venue for public opera in the world, opening in 1737. The atmosphere and the experience is worth paying the price for an Opera or Ballet.

Five stars for the guided tour of the Napoli Opera House. Very informative and narrated with passion by our guide. I wish I could visit the opera during performance, but the season hadn't started yet. The guided toor alternative brings you to all the areas you would like to see, even the kings loge.

Beautiful and ancient theater. To visit absolutely. I have been there for various classical and modern dance events and essays. Great visual and sound from anywhere in the theater. Structure well maintained over the years and well maintained. Rare to find wooden armchairs and velvet. The wooden doors with movable doors to enter the balconies. Corridors well lit and covered with red carpeted carpets.

A breathtaking environment more than worthy of its fame. It is a splendid theater with perfect acoustics. The shows are very interesting especially as regards the opera. Prices are not very high and are all available on the official website of the theater. The location is perfect, right in front of the spectacular Umberto I gallery. A must see at least once in your life, this like Naples.

Theater not only historical, but I would dare to say magnificent, the acoustics thanks to its horseshoe shape allows a perfection in any location of the hall, and every time you enter a world between, the magic and the dreamlike, physical and metaphysical, I wouldn't know what to ask for more. The masks and the staff always attentive to the needs of the people, and therefore the five stars are more than deserved. P.s in addition to the viewing of works, ballets, etc. .... You can also take a guided tour of the San Carlo, discovering its construction and origins

Wonderful theater but service to say the least inadequate. I could not buy the ticket from the website. I purchased a seat on stage # 12, II row (very central stage) for 65 euros. On the day of the show I do not receive a booklet with a description of the work in the list of works. They give me the wrong place. On the stage (2m x 1.5m) there are 8 strictly non-numbered chairs. My chair is in the third row. There is no physical space either for the 8 people or to enjoy the show without having to constantly look for a break between the heads of the other spectators. The show was great but the most uncomfortable ever. For 65 euros the service is ridiculous and absolutely does not reflect the quality and prestige of the theater itself. Such a pity! Franca

Beautiful historical structure, very well preserved and still used for high level shows. Nationally famous theater. But it falls on the stages, where eight people gather in a space that could not reasonably accommodate more than six.

I enter this theater punctually every year when I spend a few weeks in the Amalfi Coast and I have always enjoyed myself: the theater is architecturally beautiful and welcoming, better than the Piermarini of Milan hosting La Scala, competes for beauty with the Venice Phoenix. Dazzling stage, auditorium and harmonious stages and decorated with universal taste; the rooms are spacious and majestic. High level shows with the artists who always give their best thanks to the support of a competent, warm and far from superb audience. And then beautiful people between public and personal. Among the masks, beautiful and well-formed girls: they always smile at you and solve every problem. Who does not come does not know what is lost. Easy contacts and better prices than elsewhere: the difference with Scala and Fenice is abysmal and not justified because the shows are on the same level for stable choir and orchestra preparation as well as the dance corps and the theater is easily accessible by public and private means . If you love music and life, come here immediately!
