We attended the lyrical Opera of "Fidelio" in this amazing venue. From box seats, the view was amazing! The feeling of the marble stair cases, the velvet drapes, the rich textures, all add to the experience of the venue and the show itself. This place should be in your to do list and hopefully you'll be in town during the season for Opera.

One of the most prestigious theaters not only in Italy but in Europe and among the oldest. Beautiful, well maintained, hosts performances of opera, prose and classical ballets with the most famous names in the world, to attend one of them is a privilege as well as an indescribable emotion. I did it.

The most beautiful theater I've ever seen. Perfect acoustics and atmosphere that oozes history. I highly recommend to get into it at least once in life, to possibly follow a show! Highly recommend!

Complimenti

Beautiful theater.

Beautiful theater.
However, entry costs 9 to see only the theater with a guided tour in Italian, repeated in English, of only 15 minutes.
We were not allowed to visit the upper floor and the other rooms.
At the box office it was written that the visit had a duration of 40 minutes and on the site the same.

Took a short tour of the oldest theater in Europe. Beautiful atmosphere. Tour was short, but informative. Only 7 euro for about half hour. I checked out ticket prices for a show and very reasonably priced seats.

From the balcony of the 5th floor, it is not possible to read the display, covered by the valance,
on the other hand we see the dust accumulated on the lights and drapery drapes.
For the rest, wonderful !!

The theater of Naples. The oldest in Naples and throughout Italy. To say beautiful is an understatement. Place in an enchanting point of beautiful Naples. A few meters between Piazza Municipio and Piazza del Plebiscito. The interior is then a fairy tale. One of the many riches of us Neapolitans.

The most beautiful opera house in the world, as well as the oldest in Europe dates from 1731. The court theater can be reached directly from the Royal Palace. Excellent acoustics make this place of music an unmissable place. A memorable Wagnerian evening: Die Walkuere is a work worthy of such magnificence.

The theater is impressive! I was unpleasantly surprised by the price increase :( the guide tells you interestingly, but it does it first for the Italian group and then for the English one - such a waste of time;)

Next to the Umbero Primo gallery there is this beautiful theater, with a guide you can rediscover all the history, visit above and below, inside the cabins, at that time already with a structure that made a better audio quality upwards

I was at the San Carlo with a group of friends to see Carmen on 18.12.15, all very well the show was very nice except the arrangement of my seat in the second gallery, 25 side behind, that is placed on the chair a little higher of the three chairs positioned in front. What can I say I did not see a tube, and to see me it lengthened me a little. I was disappointed with my first time at the San Carlo and wondered if the head of the theater had ever sat in the position assigned to me and what he could see. From my I can say I paid 45.00 and I was not satisfied and I would not go back there before having seen where to sit well. To put it shortly I felt robbed and those places should not be sold.

Thanks Francesco

We bought tickets for our anniversary to see Carmen. The box seats we were given resulted in us not being able to see ANYTHING. This is not an exaggeration, from our seats, we could not see any part of the stage or orchestra pit. We went back to the box office to see if we could exchange / upgrade but were told that we would have to buy new tickets and no refund would be given.

The venue itself was absolutely lovely, but ask very clearly if you will be able to see the stage before purchasing a ticket - this was 90 wasted.
