Service Department Experience: Took my vehicle in...

Service Department Experience: Took my vehicle in for a repair last week after my engine light came on. The mechanic (if you can call him that) checked my car and it was determined I needed two valves replaced. No problem had them do the repair on the two valves. Since the car was there I needed to have my snows removed and had some issues with the back light that is above my license plate so asked if that can be fixed as well. Was told no problem. Got a call two days later that the car was ready. Paid $2100 for the repair and went on my way. Next day drove to work with no issues. Started the car at the end of my day to drive home and the car would not start. Popped the hood and the main terminal was left lose from the battery so the car was dead. At this point I am furious. Drove the car to the dealership and they checked it over again and said it was fine. Drove the car home and parked it. Car was fine for another day until Saturday. Saturday drove the car to Mississauga and on the way home car stalled on Britannia and Trafalgar. Had to get a tow truck to tow me home. How great is that. Called the dealership on Monday to find out what happened and what responsibility they will take for the repair. I was told by some chick that works in the service department that to bring the car in so they can look at the issue. So this dealer wanted me to pay another tow fee to tow the car to them for them to BREAK MY CAR further??? And the kicker is that she stated that on my service order it stated that there may have been some oil that leaked to the alternator. Really WHY did nobody say anything when the car was in the shop?? Why was it only mentioned after the car was repaired and ready for pick up. Why did nobody say hey you know we are not sure if there is going to be a problem since the car is here lets take the precaution and replace the alternator to be on the safe side. I had a mechanic look at the work and in his opinion this was done on purpose that the main terminal was left unplugged to cause damage. Why because they are desperate because business is down because of COVID. Really you take advantage of a loyal customer and screw them with NOW ALMOST A $3000 BILL. No thank you I will not be taking my car to this dealership ever again for any repair AGAIN.
