Good luck reaching out to customer service let alone getting a refund. I was mistakenly double charged and was promise a refund. Still waiting on that refund or someone to get back to me to confirm the refund and estimated time of deposit.I guess BBB will be next to file a complaint if I don t hear back.

Not sure of how the individuals are leaving such great comments. Maybe they produce a lot of business for Teachable. My own experience (and you can test this for yourself), is that NO ONE responds to email, and its otherwise difficult to contact the company with questions as they do not provide a phone number to call them when emailing fails. I would give them negative stars if I could. You should hope to be located near their office- as dropping in on them is the quickest way to get a response. BUT - doing that, you have to even consider if it worth giving them your business. Its ridiculous. Beware of all the 5-star ratings that do NOT have commentary. Those people likely represent the company.

horrible customer service. All they want to do is send you a generic email with generic help on problems. These rarely fix anything! I want to talk with someone. There are no phone numbers posted to call for help. More than a few of my class mates are not able to see newly posted material and we can not get help! Very frustrating! Especially when you pay lots of money to take a course using this format/program.

Unfortunately customer service isn t wonderful. I don t have any emails returned from the several I have sent out. I can t start my program I invested in until I talk with them. They do not have a phone number to talk with any rep. Very frustrating as I NEED to start ASAP and not to mention the course I bought was $$$.

Contacted customer service yesterday. 24 hours later I received an email requesting i reply if I still needed assistance. Are they serious? Of course I needed help still they never bothered to answer my question. Totally unprofessional. And why did they bill me BEFORE my free trial ended?

I actually disagree with the last post about customer service. I have been on with customer service several times over the past couple months and they have been amazing. Sam and the tech guys have helped me through some pretty techie stuff in order to get my sales page and course exactly how I want it. They've been great and highly recommend this platform.

1. Terrible customer service

1. Terrible customer service
2. Unable to reach by phone for help
3. They do NOT HAVE A SUPPORT LINE.
4. I have had a payment issue now for over a month and I have contacted them by chat and by email and I ve been put in a circular process.
5. They refer me to stripe and stripe refers me to them.
6. I am unable to be paid.
7. I would not purchase this product.

Unfortunately I didn t have the best experience with these guys. I used their custom payment gateway (Stripe) and needed to migrate my customer data over to my own Stripe account. Teachables privacy policy says using their custom gateway means your subject to Stripes privacy policy. Stripe says migrating my data is fine, they do it all the time. Teachable are blocking it saying it violates their privacy policy. It s a shame businesses operate like this, they ve turned someone who would have recommended them in to a detractor

Teachable has been an awesome platform that has made running online courses so easy! I definitely recommend using teachable over building it yourself. It's easy to use, fast, and the team is awesome!

I'm rating teachable based on my experience as a consumer of classes on teachable. I suspect that if a user only has a single class on teachable, then the experience isn't too bad. However, if you have multiple classes from different instructors, it's a bit of a nightmare. Basically, the site gets confused about which class you are on. Because of poor design of their website, you can have some classes (from different instructors) which all have the same password (and are on your dashboard) and some classes which have different passwords (and are not on your dashboard). The website tries to remember what you were doing last, but it can get confused and may try to log you in to a class with the wrong password (which doesn't work). Teachable's solution is to tell users to "clear their cookies". I understand this solution. It's what website developers tell customer service to say when development is too lazy, too inept, or too busy to fix the problem (admittedly, often the latter). Regardless, it's like telling me to remove both rear tires on my car and put them back on every time I want to go for a drive. Teachers should be very careful before choosing teachable as a platform.
