I had the cheese board. Other than a Starbucks fruit and cheese lunch, this was my first time buying a cheese board. There was a nice selection and the service from a couple of the waitstaff were excellent. One woman didn't seem as friendly though. Revelator Coffee Company is steps away. I would love to see RCC offer food from St. James Cheese Company. I think they would make an excellent duo.

My children had a cheese board that was very good. The bread was excellent, the best bread we have found in the USA so far. We landed here after a disappointing experience elsewhere. The server was very friendly, it brought us back in high spirits to end our tour around the warehouse district.
This place was full of cheese, who doesn t like cheese? I loved the Manchego arugula salad as I needed this after all the greasy food we ve been having all week. I ordered the gruyere sandwich with chips and it was delicious!
Maybe it was a fluke, but don't count on them to be open on time. We showed up when they were supposed to open at 11:00 on 8/8/18. The doors were locked and the window sign said closed. We waited several minutes, and nobody showed up, so we left.

Great place for lunch! I had the Hooks Cheddar sandwich and my husband had the Mozzarella sandwich. Both were fantastic. Very fresh tasting. We also got a charcuterie board during Happy Hour, what a great deal! Expect higher prices for sandwiches, but keep in mind you are paying for high quality ingredients. Sandwiches are also huge!

Pretty silly to come here if you don't love cheese. I'm not a huge cheese person on sandwiches / salads, but the Mac & Cheese was awesome! Add prosciutto bites! Comes with a solid salad.

It was good. They have delicious sandwiches. The salad was also very good. The mac n cheese i feel could have been better thou.I am not sure what was missing...Maybe it was the type of cheese they used or that it needed more salt. Staff was polite and service was fairly quick.

The perfect place for a midday snack of cheese.
We asked the staff to surprise us and gave some of our likes and dislikes and they came through with a delightful mix of strong and creamy cheeses plus an assortment of wonderful accessories for the cheese like the AMAZING house-made cherry spread/jam, candied walnuts, figs and other little lovely things.
Happy hour prices on the wines and bubbly really helped as well.
If the weather is good I recommend sitting on the porch and watching the day go by.
Lovely lunch time food. Cheese focus but excellent charcuterie. Choice of beers on tap demonstrate a similar attention to quality.
The food here is always amazing. There isn't much you can say besides come try it out. They have sandwiches and dishes with new spins and twists. They are a little more expensive, but the quality and quantity value is there.

If you were ever going to cry tears of joy over food, then this is one of those places. Dairy is the main thing here. Cheese is the star on each plate. I m Dutch and grew up with European quality cheeses, so to find a place like this, feels like I ve died and gone to heaven. You can come here for a sit-down bite to eat, or grab your food to go, or just buy your cheese and take it home, which would be my weekly ritual if I lived here. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

This is the kind of place that is beautiful, that makes you want and that stays in the throat for a long time ... The "snack" that also serves as cheese sells European cheese ... A piece of mature English Cheddar that has no taste (how is this possible for Cheddar ??) paid 17 (against about 2.30 in Belgium). Same thing for the County. 2 pieces of cheese, 2 baguettes and 60. And if at least it was good ... Avoid frankly if you are European and used good cheeses because you will be disappointed. The snack is frequented by local boosters who are delighted with the European appellation and eat something other than American Cheddar. A real scam well staged!

OH. MY. GAWWWWD. I bought some cheese here and had intended to give it as a gift, but I ate it. Great decision, it was so good that it tasted better than the guilt I felt.
No other cheese shop is New Orleans is as well stocked or helpful.
The food was absolutely incredible, however, the service was awful. Both girls working there were very rude, I asked for water with my meal and was never served any or told how to get it myself. When I asked the charcuterie girl for prices, she was annoyed and dismissive. I also thought the prices for the food quantity was high.

Went there because it was across the street from our hotel. I have been looking out of my window waiting for the Open sign to flip! This restaurant is simply perfect. We had the muffuleta and salad. The dish was exceptionally delicious. The place is super clean and the staff is very very friendly. Go just go!

If you are a fan of cheese , don't hesitate to stop in at any of their locations. You'll definitely need to come back often to eat your way around their menu, and to experience their cheese plates which change daily.

Everytime I'm in Nola I make time to stop in and visit the great people at St.James. The staff is very knowledgeable and will to teach you a few things about the many cheeses they offer. Stop is for a little light snack or cheese board and a drink. Will not disappoint!

Before the COVIDpacalypse, I hadn't heard of this place. Once it started, they made an effort to sell their stock before it spoiled. They have great cheese and great service. The cheese-related products they sell are varied and really nice. They were courteous and helpful. I hope their business survives, because I would love to return once this is all over.
