My husband went in to the E.R. with a swollen lymph node they tried saying was an ingrown hair. They gave him a " steroid and antibiotic". His symptoms are still occuring and his discharge paperwork doesn't disclose any medications administered to him which is standard procedure for ANY medical office worth their weight. Very unprofessional. They acted like a revolving door facility, took less than 30 minutes to be rushed in given "medications" that were not disclosed in any form to him written or verbally. DO NOT WASTE TIME GOING HERE. Husband feels he could of received better treatment, care and disclosure from an animal clinic.
ER was busy when i arrived but they did their best to help me im a timely manner. All of the staff was professional and polite in their care and respnses
I went into the ER on a Friday night to get stitches for a cut. The staff was very helpful, friendly and efficient. The doctor was visiting and had done his residency at John Hopkins. Very good service!
The rooms are filthy. I mean dirt, dust and trash everywhere. On the ceiling on the floor and on the walls. I told them i was in pain because of a certain reason so instead of checking on that specifically they wanted to draw blood and give me a pain pill right off the back. I refused.
Although they told me up front the wait to be seen would be hours, i believe making a very sick person, who tells them they can NOT breathe, wait 10 hours to be seen is ridiculous! Plus, i was made to go wait in my car. My husband did go in at one point to see where i was on the list and they told him i was next as long as no emergencies came in. 2 and a half hours later they still didn't call me and no emergencies had come in.
I took my girlfriend to the ER not once not twice but three time and they finally took us serious after her eyes went crossed. Turns out that she had two blood clots, one behind her right eye and one in her cavernous sinus. They rushed her to UofL hospital where the doctors there told me if she hadn't gotten there when she did she would have died. Every time I've been to the ER they don't take you serious unless your arm is hanging by a thread. Worst staff I've ever had to deal with, the doctors there must have gotten their degree from a cracker jack box.
Anytime I have had dealings with TCRH I have walked away impressed and well cared for. Today was no exception. From the moment I arrived and was geeeted with a wheelchair and concern until I walked back out the door, everyone I encounter d was professional, timely and most of all kind and compassionate....and they took very very good care of me, like always.
Literally just got send here for a chest pain from their urgent care because I have all the symptoms of a heart attack. They sat me in the waiting room for over an hour and never saw me. I am going somewhere from now on. The nurses didn t seem to care at all.
