I have never met more caring, compassionate, and lovely people. This is the place I would choose for my parents to live. The grounds and facilities are amazing, lots of activities and FUN, but it is the people that really make the big difference in little ways everyday.
Resident are well cared for at Taylor Community, the staff is very supportive. There are so many things to do you are never bored. Many comment we should have moved here sooner . Taylor Community is a fantastic place to live.
Unbelievable how they don't care about anything but profit. They think they own you once you sign the contract for continuing care. Stay away from this place!
I have worked at TC for more than 19 years, the residents are wonderful as well as the staff. It is a great place to work and live.
I have been fortunate to work at Taylor Community for more than six years. We have a compassionate, caring team of staff members who truly enjoy what they do every day. The nearly 400 residents who live here are friendly, welcoming and fun. How many people can say they ve gone zip-lining with a 90-year-old? I can! The camaraderie, myriad of activities, trips and functions here keep everyone young. I can t think of a better organization to work for, or a more active retirement community. And with Taylor s location in New Hampshire s beautiful Lakes Region, there is no end to things to do and see here.
Seems to me it s a process to force people into assisted living whether they want to go or not!! I have a friend who trusted this facility to care for his mother and they are anything but vigilant here. Cutting corners and stripping individuals of their dignity. Safety is the least of their concerns and they refuse to take responsibility for their actions or lack thereof.
A friend of mines mother who is 95 years old got evicted from there because she didn t want to give up all her independence! This wonderful lady lived there for years needed some help but not to the point to give up all her independence! She is a very strong lady!! Totally unexceptable to even think about evicting her but they did!!! Don t think you are safe there to live that they won t evict you!!! And talk about safe I went there and walked right in a door that should have been locked but wasn t no security at all!!! Anyone could go in there!!! For the money you pay to live there you should at least feel safe!!!
Can t recommend working here, or placing a family member here. Non cohesive work environment with multiple safety issues. Residents are fleeced for basic upkeep and landscaping. Workers use company assets and supplies for personal use.
We moved to Taylor Community from Maryland about a year and a half ago and are so glad we made the move when we were still able to take advantage of the many activities and opportunities the Community offers. We have enjoyed the many Taylor trips to attractions in the New England area as well as the wellness activities including water aerobics classes, hiking group, tai chi classes, and the exercise facility. We love the beautiful Taylor campus, so close to the many lakes and mountains in the area including the nearby Gunstock Resort ski area. We have been most grateful for the people here - the caring, helpful, and friendly staff have been outstanding and the residents very welcoming and friendly. We love it here.
I recently helped to place my future father-in-law in the Assisted Living facility at Taylor. We have found Taylor to be a resident-focused, highly very professional community which provides superior care in a very warm and positive environment. We feel a great amount of relief knowing our person is safe and cared for.The residents in his facility are more l like an extended family. The staff is well trained, courteous, and helpful.
