Best place for cake and custard

Brought 2 slices of cake. Jam and coconut sponge and a rainbow sponge with icing. The cakes were lovely and sweet, how ever the custard was bland and tasteless and was not sweet to top it off the icing on the rainbow sponge stuck to the lid of the container it was in. Then was told the third cake we wanted was frozen and had to be defrosted. I thought all cakes were baked by them, obviously not.

Not impressed. The custard tasted powdery . The apple crumble was undercooked. The chocolate cake was not bad.
