Went there for brunch twice. Both times were bad. Burnt the poached eggs. Rare steak was brown in the middle. For the price you can do way better for yourself. Hollandaise tasted bland and pre-made, definitely not worth your time. Two stars because the service was excellent. This was a few months ago. Just now getting around to reviewing.

Absolutely the worst dining experience in Richmond. Had the surf and turf and it was horrible. The steak had some terrible tomato sauce and was burnt on the outside. Tasteless and nasty. Cannot she'll needed to be rolled out properly before frying. They should be ashamed to call that a cannolli. We will never go there again. What a huge waste of money and time. I could not stomach most of my food. I will say the service was good but that is where it ends. As a matter of fact if I could give this a half star I would.

Always great food, general American fare, plenty of healthy options AND unhealthy ones. And enough vegetarian options to make me take my time picking out what Im going to eat which as a vegetarian is always worth an extra star!

A great choice for sunday lunch. The selection is wonderful, lunch or breakfast. The service is prompt and very efficient. Our waiter was great. Even though macaroni and cheese was not on the menu, they made some for our grandchildren. We will be. Back!

Tarrant s has been serving up somewhat upscale but affordable fair for a number of years at its original spot downtown. The Short Pump location is rather new by comparison, but the menu is largely the same and the parking is considerably more plentiful. Known for its rather expansive menu, and with ample seating indoors and out, this restaurant makes itself an ideal destination for group lunches. Check this place out when you have some friends in tow and can t decide on what to eat!

We were really excited for our first time to Tarrant's West. Our experience started out great but went down hill from there. My bf got the crabcake dinner. The cakes were not very good. The rice was bland. I ordered a fried oysters basket and while they were delicious, they were cold before I was able to get cocktail sauce from our server, who kept dodging our table. We were furious when she brought our bill, ran our check then over charged our card. The young man who was manager on duty, thought it was funny that I asked to see someone about the bill, and came out of the kitchen mocking me. We did receive credit for the $50 over charge on our card.

I had a pastrami sandwich, and she crab soup. It was very good. For dessert I had the berry cobbler with french vanilla ice cream which I shared. It was to die for. I highly recommend it. There were a number of delicious looking desserts. I saw them as they were being delivered to other customers. Overall my experience was great.

The customer service is wonderful, but the food tastes like wet, unwiped butt. Their fries taste like the bottom of a shoe. Their salmon is as red as a the tomatoes. Don't come here. Trash cans deliver their food. I found hair in my food also. Their apples also taste like tree bark. Eating their pickles is like chewing potato chips. Their brown rice tastes like hot water. You'll think you're eating grass if you eat their grapes.

Menu was great and vast. Beautiful restaurant with very upscale feel without outrageous prices. Delightfully, our 4 top was seated right away at approximately 1pm on a Saturday and they offer delicious complimentary homemade cinnamon buns once greeted!

BUT it took about 15 minutes to be greeted by our server in a dining room less than half full. Another 15 minutes to receive first round of waters. And an HOUR before we got our 2 sandwiches and 2 egg meals (relatively quick items to prepare). About this time we were maybe 1 of 5 tables left in a dining room of 15 or 20 tables. We had watched tables finish 3 course meals while we waited. We had to grab our second round of drinks to go after 1.5 hours of dining for lunch. We would have appreciated the server addressing dining speed or inform us early on that the kitchen was backed up. This could have been a 5 star easily but the service experience was much too frustrating.

Enjoyed a wonderful dinner with good friends at Tarrant's West. The decor at this restaurant is worth the wait. This very busy very trendy restaurant is decorated in beautiful doors from Europe with sparkly chandeliers, and gorgeous grillwork. I had a delicious salad, my husband had a sailor sandwich, and our friends had shrimp and grits and salmon. Everyone was delighted with their meals and extremely satisfied. Loved this restaurant and will definitely be back. There was one thing that was disturbing....our waitress was sooooo loud she made my ears ring. Every time she came by I wished her away. But on the good side, she was efficient and didn't bother us too much. She just needs to tone it down a decibel or two. And that is the only reason this restaurant didn't get 5 stars from me.

Breakfast was good. I enjoyed their pancakes. I think for the price they could've given me a side. My dad had eggs, sausage and grits. He said it was good but he didn't care for the grits. My daughter had a vegetarian omelet and creamed spinach. She said hers was really good. My grandson had chicken tenders and fruit. He liked his, I did think that it should've come with the drink. Overall the meal was good and the service was also. Our waitress was friendly. I don't think I would put this restaurant in my top 10 for breakfast.

Service is great the staff was on point my only criticism is that their sweet tea really isn't sweet tea and either they brew it too long or leave the bag sitting other than that I would highly recommend

Waited over an hour for food. Waitress only came by twice in that time. The food finally arrived and was way below par.

The french fries were soggy crinkle-cut fries you find in kids frozen dinners. My chicken was chewy and had two massive cuts in it from where the chefs checked to see if it was done.

This is basically an Applebee's pretending to be more. Don't waste your time or money.

Went there for mothers day, the food was delicious. I've never been to a restaurant where all of the food was good, the drinks were excellent. Brunch was good and the tilapia with the crabmeat was good, well seasoned, I liked everything that they served.

We came in with a huge group on a Saturday morning for brunch. We were sat immediately and the staff was so incredibly nice. We could not have asked for better service. The atmosphere is great and they had an awesome playlist of songs going. The mimosas were awesome, because they give you the little champagne bottle so you can make it just how you like it. The have an extensive menu and something for absolutely everyone. Out of the 15 of us, every single person was happy with their entree! We had a great time and will definitely be coming back!
