Honestly, it feels like paradise is real. Located right where the seas and continents meet, the lodge is tucked away in lush greenery and offers stunning views. The property is creative, well-designed, and practically perfect—everything worked flawlessly. Our hosts were delightful and always on hand to help. We had a fantastic stay at Tarifa Lodge and will definitely return.

Een werkelijk prachtige verblijfplaats in Tarifa. Ondanks de laatste kilometer over de kronkelende onverharde wegen, was de aankomst bij de ingang van dit kleine complex de moeite waard. Het huisje was smaakvol en stijlvol ingericht, en het uitzicht was werkelijk overweldigend. Vanuit de lodge geniet je van een adembenemend panorama over de baai van Tarifa, met de Marokkaanse bergen op de achtergrond. Voor de culinaire afsluiting liepen we naar restaurant Osteria del Sol vlak aan de kust, dat werkelijk de kers op de taart was.

Spent a fantastic two weeks in June 2021 at Tarifa Lodge with family and friends. The property is incredibly well-maintained and tastefully decorated, creating a wonderfully cozy atmosphere. We were blown away by the pool and the stunning views of Africa and the entire Tarifa beach. Marion and Daniel are wonderful hosts—friendly, approachable, and always ready to help. They provided excellent suggestions for local trips, dining, and activities, making us feel right at home. We are already booked for next year and can’t wait to return!

We enjoyed our stay at Tarifa Lodge so much that we extended our visit by three nights. The property is beautiful, spotless, and fully equipped with every convenience you could ask for. The kitchen was a joy to use, and we even hired a private chef for a few days who did an amazing job. With five of us and a three-month-old baby, we all had plenty of space and privacy. The highlight was undoubtedly the pool and the stunning views. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this lovely home, which Daniel has clearly designed with care. I’ve made it a tradition to visit Tarifa Lodge every year since 2017, and the magic hasn’t faded one bit. Whether I go in winter or summer, the experience remains consistently wonderful. The property, with its charming mix of the main lodge and private apartments, boasts impeccable taste in design and decor. The attention to detail is impressive; you truly find that nothing has been overlooked. Situado estratégicamente entre Punta Paloma y el centro de Tarifa, el acceso desde la CN-340 es sencillo, aunque recomiendo encarecidamente llevar un SUV para mayor comodidad. Las vistas hacia el Estrecho de Gibraltar y África son espectaculares, y en un día con suerte, podrás disfrutar de la presencia de cigüeñas o buitres mientras relaxas en el jardín. Las nuevas suites están en un estado impecable, ideales para recuperar la energía después de un día de playa con una relajante sesión en el jacuzzi. Un lugar sereno y lujoso, perfecto para desconectar.

We found Tarifa Lodge to be a stunning, modern retreat that feels both fresh and incredibly welcoming. The interiors are stylishly designed, but the real highlight is the expansive terrace, which offers breathtaking views and plenty of space to unwind. It’s the perfect base for discovering the rugged beauty of southern Spain’s less touristy side, from wild coastlines to quiet natural parks. Just be sure to bring a sturdy vehicle, ideally with four-wheel drive, for the drive up to the lodge—the journey is challenging but the peace and scenery make it absolutely worth it. Wer in der Nähe von Tarifa eine Unterkunft sucht, wird in der Tarifa Lodge fündig. Die Lage ist wirklich unschlagbar: Das Meer und die historische Altstadt liegen praktisch direkt vor der Tür, und auch Supermärkte sind mit dem Auto schnell zu erreichen. Von hier aus lässt sich die wunderschöne Umgebung perfekt zum Wandern erkunden. Die Lodge selbst bietet viel Platz für bis zu zehn Personen, ohne dass man sich gegenseitig stört, da jeder seine Privatsphäre genießt. Das macht sie ideal für Familienurlaube mit Kindern oder auch für Firmenevents. Die Ausstattung ist hochwertig und die Zimmer großzügig gestaltet. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die gemeinsame Küche, die ein echter Traum für Hobbyköche ist, sowie den Außenbereich: Der Pool ist sowohl tagsüber als auch abends durch die Beleuchtung ein echter Hingucker, und der Kamin sorgt abends für eine wunderbare Atmosphäre. Marion und Daniel waren sehr gastfreundlich und haben viel für einen entspannten Aufenthalt getan. Ich war spontan mit Freunden für Silvester 2024 dort und kann die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

The property offers more room than you would expect from a standard hotel, maintaining a stylish and upscale atmosphere throughout. The terrace views stretching all the way to Morocco are simply breathtaking, and the pool area is a real standout feature. Tarifa itself offers plenty of charm, with easy access to nearby beaches and a wide variety of exciting excursions. The local dining scene is also excellent, with numerous wonderful restaurants in the area. It is a destination that definitely inspires repeat visits.

Having visited Tarifa seven times before and rented everything from beach huts to three-bedroom villas, we found this property to be superior to all previous options. The warm greeting from the owners set the perfect tone, and the lodge lived up to every expectation. The panoramic views from both the upper terrace and the lower veranda are breathtaking, stretching across Los Lances and offering a clear line of sight to Morocco. The suite was incredibly spacious and impeccably appointed, looking even better than its online photos often suggest. We felt genuinely cared for, as if we were guests in a cherished home. Thoughtful details like the stocked fridge, fresh fruit upon arrival, and mid-week linen changes made a real difference. With total confidence, we will be returning next year; our search for the perfect rental has effectively ended.

Tarifa Lodge truly captures the magic of the coast. Perched high on the hillside, it offers breathtaking vistas and easy access to wilderness walks within the nearby nature reserve. The infinity pool is a highlight, and the huge Webber BBQ is perfect for outdoor dining. Watching the horses roam freely in the valley below adds to the charm, while the hosts provide excellent, attentive service. I can’t wait to return to this special place.

On clear days, you can even spot the African coastline and mountains, which look beautiful both during the day and at night. The chalet is nestled within a national park, so you are surrounded by the charming sounds of nature, including donkeys, roosters, birds, and horses, which add to the rustic vibe without being disruptive. We only played music twice during our ten-day stay because the ambiance was so peaceful. Marion was incredibly helpful throughout our visit. We truly appreciated the tranquility and will definitely be returning.
