Target completely ignored my inquiries, making me feel like my business isn't valued. Since they haven't addressed my concerns, I’ve lost all motivation to visit the store.

Target really let me down with their recent support. After a chat with general agents that went nowhere, I was transferred to a specialist, but we hit a wall again. My order status shows "delivered," but the photo provided is practically useless—it just shows a box sitting on the ground near a brick wall with no address visible, so there’s zero proof it actually reached my door. To make matters worse, trying to dispute this with third-party carriers like TLMD or Shipt is a dead end; I spent ages Googling the right process and found nothing. Now I’m out $40 with no clear path to resolution. As someone who has spent over 12 years in customer service myself, I know what good support looks like, and this just wasn’t it. I’m a huge Target shopper, but this experience has seriously made me want to switch stores.
I paid for a service I never received, and Target’s customer support has been a total nightmare for over seven months. I originally ordered the items in January, but I never got them. When I called in February, I was told the money was already refunded to my card, which isn’t true. I’ve been calling repeatedly since then, and every single time, I get the exact same response: they’ve credited the account, but they’re doing nothing to fix the actual issue. It feels like the service is run by people who don’t care about the customer. I’ve spoken to numerous "supervisors," but they all have the same robotic script. I just want a proper resolution for the money I paid, not just some token refund notification. It’s incredibly frustrating.
Target’s customer service is incredibly frustrating. I called multiple times about returning an online order, and every representative gave me incorrect return instructions. On top of that, there was no way to halt the deliveries coming to my apartment. I ended up emailing the vendor directly because the website lacks a clear cancellation option, which was annoying since I tried to cancel just seven hours after placing the order.
Target has left me hanging for over a month now, and it’s been incredibly frustrating. I was trying to get this sorted for my daughter’s birthday in July, but after so much time, the issue is still unresolved. The bed frame arrived missing three support bars, and the mattress was crushed on one side. Because of this poor service, I lost my money and my daughter missed out on her birthday gift. A solid 1-star rating for such a letdown.
Target missed the mark on this purchase. After buying a bed frame and mattress for my daughter, the frame arrived with missing support bars, and the mattress is noticeably compressed on the bottom right. Customer service has been a dead end—I’ve tried calling and emailing with no response. My daughter is currently sleeping without a proper bed, and I’m out nearly $500.
I ordered a bed frame and mattress for my daughter’s birthday from Target, but the delivery was a letdown. The frame arrived with missing bars, and the mattress had a crushed section on the bottom right. I’ve spent months trying to get a response from customer service, but it’s been a struggle to reach anyone. At this rate, they’ll probably claim the issue is expired by the time I do. My daughter is currently without a bed, so thanks, Target.
Terrible experience buying a bed frame and mattress for my daughter’s birthday from Target. The frame is missing several support bars, and the bottom right corner of the mattress is crushed. What’s worse, I’ve been trying to get a response for over a month—no calls, no texts, nothing. I’m sure by the time they do reach out, they’ll claim it’s too late for a refund, leaving my daughter without a bed.
I’ve been struggling with my Target card for several days now. Calling their support feels like a waste of time because the system either tells me to call back in an hour or claims they are already closed. I’ve had to learn how to bypass their phone tree by constantly hitting zero just to reach a human. Even when I finally do get through to someone, including a supervisor, the information they give me varies every single time. It’s a frustrating runaround with no real solution in sight.
Updated by user Aug 13, 2024 I love the store! But this has been less than stellar Original review Aug 09, 2024 Hello...I have 4 grandchildren who I babysit for regularly. One of the things we like to do together is work on your Mondo Llama craft kits. I have purchased dozens of these kits through the years. This time I purchased the Sun Print Kit, the Glow Bugs Kit and the Origami Kit. Each was only $5, which I appreciate. However, these were all three terribly disappointing. I've not felt this way in the past about the other kits we've worked on. *The Origami kit paper was far too heavy to fold correctly for Origami figures. Even my adult fingers could not fold this paper into crisp edges to form the animals indicated. After one try, my 11 year old gave up, because it was pointless. *The Glow Bugs kit had cute little plastic eggs to decorate and use as the glow bugs body. The wings did not fit on the eggs provided, the pipe cleaners were too flimsy to hold the antennae and the eggs didn't stay closed to hold the battery operated candles. Cute idea, but again, it just wasn't up to the normal standards of most of the ML kits. *And thirdly, the Sun Print DIY Art Kit was a waste of money and resources. There was a huge stack of the photo sensitive paper, but, after following directions multiple times, there was absolutly no photo print on the paper...before or after we washed it with water as directed. I'd love to have my money back, however, I'm truly writing this just so you have feedback about these kits and to maybe make some improvements. Also, the Origami Kit had way too much paper in it too. Most children won't stick with this long enough to use it all. Thank you for listening...I do love Target! Cathy Smith clks1258@***.net
I placed an order for two items on Target.com, with deliveries scheduled for June 21st and 22nd. My apartment complex uses a secure, locked mailbox system. While one package was successfully deposited inside, the other went missing. The delivery photo provided shows nothing, and there was no package left anywhere outside the secure area. I contacted Target’s guest service, who said the issue needs to be escalated to UPS, taking 5 to 7 business days to resolve. This timing is frustrating because my grandson’s birthday is next week, so I won’t have the gift in time. I can’t risk ordering a replacement since the trading cards are final sale and non-returnable. The customer service experience was terrible; I expect items to actually be delivered, not just dropped off without verification. I suppose Walmart will be happy to gain a new customer from this mishap.
Target has really gone downhill. After spending thousands here over the years, I’m finally done. The decline over the last few months is hard to ignore, and I’ve shared videos online highlighting just how embarrassing the store has become. It feels like it’s turning into a Ross, which isn’t exactly a compliment. With the current vibe, I’m losing my patience for in-store visits and might just switch to shopping at Amazon, Sephora Ulta, or Popshelf instead.
Spending over $100 at the Target on Arden in Sacramento this morning, and I’m genuinely disappointed by the customer service. I’m a regular who parks and shops there often, so this interaction stuck out. I arrived two minutes before opening, saw the manager, Janeen, enter, and tried to ask when the store opens. She looked right at me, ignored me, and shut the door in my face. Even after I knocked, she ignored me and chatted with another employee inside. When the doors finally opened, I approached her counter where she was still talking to a coworker. She made eye contact, let me interrupt, and then gave a sarcastic “Yes” when I pointed out her rudeness. Her excuse was that she has hearing problems, which I found ridiculous because she clearly heard her coworker speaking in a much softer tone than my voice or the knock on the door. I know she saw me because she stared right at me while closing the door. I respectfully explained that her attitude wasn’t welcoming, especially since I felt she only engages with certain types of customers. She just replied with more sarcastic “OKs” until I walked away to avoid losing my temper. I asked another staff member for a manager and was told Janeen was the manager on duty, but her boss, Chris, is also there. I happened to bump into Chris (identified by his name tag) while shopping for a phone charger and some Harry Potter books. I explained the situation to him. He listened but said there was nothing he could do because Janeen wasn’t technically on the clock. I disagree—when you’re in uniform on the premises, you represent the brand. I told Chris I’d be leaving reviews and contacting corporate because verbal resolution wasn’t going to fix this. He just said “okay.” I’ll only use this Target for immediate, urgent needs since it’s closest to my home. For anything else, I’m taking my money elsewhere and suggesting others do the same.
Target gave me the runaround on a refund claim, citing that too much time had passed. But the issue isn't about fit; the bedspread fell apart almost immediately after purchase, with seams bursting everywhere despite my attempts to sew them myself. Considering the product quality was so poor, I believe I deserve a refund regardless of the elapsed time, especially since I bought it during the pandemic. I would even accept store credit for the item from a Target location near me.
