Great little taqueria, the food is delicious and service is quick. They hand make the sauces that add some amazing flavor.

Fantastic seafood burritos + one of the best salsa picantes I ve ever had. I always stop here if I m in the neighborhood.

Nice little taqueria with good options. They have the basics as well as fish shrimp and lobster. Good portions for the price. You get what you pay for.

The tacos are just lack of amount of meat, the salsa tastes poorly and the they taste like over burnt oil.
The quesadillas taste fried! No good!

This is my go to, relatively inexpensive, local spot for Mexican food. Chips are good, the lobster and steak burito is a nice extravagence. The fish tacos are excellent.

Good taqueria that doesn't disappoint but doesn't impress. They offer an array of salsas and have a good sized seating area in the back if you want to hangout.

The fish tacos here are the best. Ive been eating them for 28 years(?) Since 1994. Outdoor seating only still. Piedmont avenue is fun and the majority of Oaklanders are really nice people.

Friendly people and really yummy chips and salsa make this taqueria stand out.

When there on Tuesday at lunch and ate 2 fish tacos, since then have been really bad of my stomach, today it's Friday and can't get better. When to doctor am taking antibiotics. Won't eat there again.

Best quality Mexican food with lovely service & staff

Bajas food is delicious. All the food is super fresh. They have an array of fresh salsas that are all super tasty. My favorite is the lobster burrito. It has well seasoned lobster, rice, and cheese. I like that the burrito doesnt have all the fixings like you'd expect (I'm sure you can add them)but I like it that way because you really get the flavor of the lobster. I've tasted numerous items and all are fresh and delicious.

Food was ok, menu was what you might expect, prices were ok for what you got. Atmosphere is very casual, like fast food. They got my order somewhat wrong. Probably won't go again but wouldn't necessarily recommend against it.

Really good food, and the best part is you don t feel bad afterwards! Definitely my go to spot from now on. I ve had over 800 burritos in my life time and this is up there with the best of them!

I've found the menu kind of hit or miss. Some items are quite good, while others were less so. Bonus star for the live music nights which can be a lot of fun.

Their idea of fish tacos involves lobster or blackened catfish. They have a mole plaintain wrap thats awesome. They havea steak and lobster burrito.

Conscious of sourcing locally when possible, organic, non-gmo, free-range, hormone-free, etc. The walls are covered with String Chees Incident tour posters, and on monday nights they have a live bluegrass band playing.

Great service! Staff is sooooo nice. I've been eating there for at least 10 years and it couldn't be better. Coco, the manager, demands top service from her staff. Try it if you haven't already.

Went in for the overpriced fished tacos and was very disappointed. Staff was nice and friendly but the tacos were mediocre at best especially considering the price. The texture of the fish was not easily distinguished between the guacamole and the blan flavor left more to be desired.

Okay Mexican food; it's just not memorable. There are lots of better options in the Bay Area.

My friend and I ordered a taco and a burrito. For a Mexican food place, this is bad. The plain saltless chips had more flavor than the actual food. People who settle for mediocrity enjoy food like this. I would have been satisfied with McDonald's.

Really enjoyed the pomegranate margaritas here. Also had the chicken and fish taco combo and was surprised at how full they stuff the tacos!

Shut the front door. What a waste of money. I've had better i mean I've had better! Where's the authenticity of Mexican cuisine. Meh!

They have great delicious healthy affordable food. The use non gmo corn and I belive they buy locally grown produce as well. The staff and patrons are courteous and the service is fast.

The rice is bland and salty, the nachos are soggy and flavorless, and the chicken is cheap and spongey. The only good thing is the steak fries, which aren't even Mexican.

Wouldn't reccommend it to anyone. It might just be the stuff we ordered, but a burrito and nachos doesn't seem that out of the ordinary.

quesadillas are the best, burritos are good yet different than most, fresh tortilla chips, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Plus many other dishes not mentioned here
