TAPS Restaurant, Bar & Lounge Review

I loved the atmosphere. We didn't eat here so I can't say anything about the food but it was a nice place to grab a drink. I love different ciders and the one I had was really good!

Good quiet outdoor eating. Good turkey bacon salad minus the bacon. Worked undisturbed & charged laptop & tripled up the tip for the extra hour

I'll be honest, it's a bit pricey for my taste and... the food's taste. I do not mean that the food was bad by no means. That being said you must also take the location into consideration. Factor that in, and it starts to make sense. It's a comfortable feel with a distinct vibe that screams most of the people that frequent this restaurant are probably neighbors and know each other fairly well. But if your in the area and are craving a quick beer and a good club sandwich it's definitely worth a look see.

You want good and hot food this is the place. Beat flavor I had so far. The pretzel and the crab cakes were to die for. So much flavor and freshness I wanted to order round 2 of those appetizers. Then we order the French dip and it was so AMAZING. The cheese melted in your mouth along with the meat was so flavorful. Finally we finished up with the classic CHEESE CAKE. Let me tell you OMG it was AMAZING! You could taste the zest of lemon and the crust was on point with not being to crunchy but not too soft and they added strawberries on the side that made it! I definitely recommend this place. The staff was on point and very attentive and quick with our food! Give it a try! Best way to end a date night with GREAT AND FRESH FOOD!

Farrah was great. Love the atmosphere. Perfect place to pop in for a quick drink or bite if strolling around downtown. Nice outdoor seating area.

Leslie and Dan thanks for a great time Friday at lunch. I hope I Spelled the names right! Pedro I'm a foreman with a huge appetite visited Tap's for the first time ever in down town Tampa Bay the staff working as hard as my crew on thier daily routine never slipped a beat excellent appearance the establishment and the working crew. Clean, comfortable venue and staff. I'm five star for me great employees.

We had blackened fish tacos and crab cakes. Very good. Staff very friendly.

We had a really nice time here, the atmosphere was great, service was good and the waitress was very patient with us. We had delicious food for dinner and we couldn't resist ordering the apricot rum bread pudding which was great. Then a few friends joined us for drinks. So yes, it's a great place for whatever you plan is.

A chill place to get a drink when in Downtown. There's a paid parking lot located across the street, or you can park at the larger Poe Garage (paid) next to the museums and walk over. The food is good, but it's a bit pricey for what you get. Staff are super friendly and personable. The place gets busy on weekends and when events at Curtis Hixon Park are occurring, so plan your visit accordingly.

We walked over from our hotel to have a late dinner & drinks while visiting Tampa. The waitress was helpful (she knew the beer menu!) & personable. The "crowd" was friendly & the food was surprisingly good!
