Our favorite summer music venue. The Boston symphony is always on their game during these performances. One of the best musical experiences anywhere. The venue is in the covered shed, but open sides create an outside feel with protection from the occasional thunderstorm. Tickets are generally available at the last minute and sitting on the outside lawn is a great experience.
Wonderful outdoor venue, there are options for formal seating as well as bring your own lawn seating - very family friendly!
Neat place to hear live music, the seats under the vovered area are nice if the weather is bad, but it nice to dit out on the grass to listen.
Travelers, this is a wonderful New England experience. Sitting on the lawn in Tanglewood listening to music is sublime. Pack a picnic and go in a group. The grounds are lovely. The concert we saw was Ben Harper and trombone shorty and it was fantastic. We recommend. Enjoy.

This place is very popular and a tradition to attend while staying in the Berkshires. The Boston Orchestra plays notes from the Classical error. If you come to the last performance of the season, be prepared for the fireworks on site. Come prepared to have an elaborate set up (think Candelabras, glasses of wine, festive lighting and the works).

Actually the only disappointing part is the DIRT floor in the shed. Such a nice place with a disgusting germ infested dirt floor!!! Clean up your act, put in a cement floor that can be cleaned!!!
