We love playing at Tam O'shanter. The course is challenging and the greens are very difficult. The course is in excellent shape despite the wet spring and summer we had this year. I would highly recommend playing Tam O'Shanter. They also have a great driving range right across the street from the course.
What an amazing course!!! Green fees are "on par" for a very nice course. Well maintained with very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend if you are looking for a great place to golf in Mercer County!!!
A fair course and a good price! Not a perfect course but the drained very well in the rain. Greens stayed firm but soft too.
Greens are in great shape. Some of the fairways on front 9 are not in greatest shape. We really like the clubhouse and pro shop. Friendly and lots of merchandise!
Greens were quick and hard to read subtle breaks. Stay below the hole a must. Tee boxes pretty rough. Over all Fairways good. Nice 3 shot par 5s. Enjoyed the variety of holes. Invoke the Leaf Rule folks.
Course was great... the young kids working the Pro Shop are very disrespectful... I use the driving range regularly. It's frustrating that the staff are out there hacking away talking while customers wait. I'd play it again, but would rather play Yankee or VFW without the problems from their staff.

Nice course, but rough around the edges. Could bump to a 4 star of better maintained and groomed (tee boxes small, in rough shape, weedy, lots of broken tees). Greens were in decent condition, not fast. Enjoyed the course layout, worth the greens fee.
Best Green's I've played on this year, all in all the course is in nice condition and a pleasure to play, I would recommend this place to everyone.

It's a small, well kept, and reasonably priced golf course.
Course is in immaculate condition especially the putting greens. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. A must play if you are in the area.

Good Layout. Short holes are tight and the longer holes have room to miss. Greens were good and the ball sat up in the fairways. I would play this course again when I m in town.

I've always enjoyed playing this course. The fairways are in rough shape right now. Looks like they got hit with a fungus or blight, but the greens are in pretty good shape.
Awesome place to buy clubs . I made the mistake and bought my last sets of clubs from golf headquarters . John the Owner is an expert as he will fit you for the clubs that suit you best They have just about every club to swing and he will take you on his driving range and not a simulator . Also through titleist he is a premier fitter . Highly recommended

I agree with all the accolades provided in other reviews regarding the friendly and professional staff, complete and affordable pro shop, and overall high quality experience. This is the best-valued public course in the NW PA / NE OH region. They keep the course in great shape and it is very challenging. Bring your A game. It is my new favorite course.
