Such a Shame we went in to get a pizza which was a recommendation to take away, had a glass of wine and beer while waiting 45 minutes, this place was not busy, so no excuse, the pizza came out cold was not happy with this place

Mojito ordered had no taste and garnish of mint was wilted and looked as if was taken from dustbin. Mussel starter I could not eat the sauce because it tasted like a pot of salt. Will never endeavour to eat at Tallas ever again.
Went there on Friday afternoon Manager on duty booked me a table for 2 for 19h00 got to the restaurant to find table already taken Sat at another table Ordered chicken schnitzel was very disappointed in so much ask for a doggie bag give it away Paid for meal with cash and card waitress never brought my change Will never go back

Pathetic service received from the owners direct, they slapped sliced cheese on 2 slices of toast and ice cold chopped ham on my sons toast. - when we asked them to heat the toast in order for the cheese to be melted we were asked to leave - a sniff of racism too.

If you are in the mood for a great view of the ocean and amazing food...this is the place to visit! Staff is friendly and they have a great vibe! I ate for starters Garlic Snails and main course 'Cape Malay Lamb Curry' and drank a 'Baboon Juice Cocktail'. Everything was delicious! Thank you

Lovely restaurant on the main beach of Gordon s Bay with nice views from the outside tables. Menu has a nice variety and great beers on tap. Had the chicken burger with caramelised onions which was really good. Service was good as well so we ll be back.
Got food poisoning. Almost certainly from the ice. Both of us got ill and the rock shandy was the only think we had in common.
Compared to other places in town the FOOD SUCKS, yet their prices are higher than everyone elses?! The only positive thing that I can say about this restaurant is that they sell perlemoen. I don't know of any other place that sells perlemoen in this area. But if you aren't in the mood for perlemoen, STEER CLEAR.
The fish and babycalamary were dry and hard. Apparently no fresh goods. After over 3 weeks the worst food so far in the Cape!

Having come from Paternoster and Hermanus, Gordon's Bay restaurants don't have many great reviews, so we chose Tallas. The Perlemoen starter was a good 1st time treat. Restaurant wasn't busy as it was between lunch and early supper. Food arrived promptly and was average in taste. The beer batter hake wasn't very appetizing and eventually removed to eat the fish only. Overall the food was okay. Service was good.
Food quality dropped over the years....not good value either
The food was ok, the service was not good. I had to ask for service multiple times, and I was never checked on. The food was warm, like it had been sitting for a while. It took about 40mins to get the food. Don't think I will be back, but may give it another try in the future.
