We had a great time. The crew on the boat were very knowledgeable and willing to share everything they knew. We only saw a few whales but the boat trip and time in the sun was worth the price.

Staff create a great atmosphere and really put their all into creating a memorable experience for all ages. Conditions were very foggy, but despite that the Captain and crew made an effort into being able to catch a glimpse of a whale...we saw one Minke!

Wow, is all I can say! Staff is amazing, boat is superbly maintained and operated. We went with our 7year old twins and our baby and we were thrilled by the fauna they helped us discover. Very respectful of the whales they don't chase them around Fundy Bay.

This was a truly marvelous experience: The professional crew gave us a warm welcome and provided useful, interesting information throughout the tour, whenever something was spotted. They offered nice extras for kids such as face painting, a little sealife aquarium to touch for those who dared (along with interesting details about the animals shown) and steering the ship - with a certificate for the young captains and on top a pirate's coin when departing from the ship. Our daughter (6) was in heaven! Worth mentioning is of course also the cup of hot soup and crackers being served just when everyone's level of chill required something to heat up. On top the vessel is just beautiful. Watching wales in style under the sails. We'd definitely chose the Jolly Breeze again!

Took a group of 12 students on this tour and was so impressed. We saw lots of whales and got super close. We also saw porpoises, eagles and coyotes. But even if we hadn t seen anything, it would have been a great outing. The team onboard were excellent and made the trip fun with lots of learning, an onboard aquarium and face painting. Thoroughly recommend these guys!

The crew of the tall ship was amazing. They were passionate about their job by how excited they were when they spotted a whale (s). They were friendly and knowledgeable, and kept both the kids and adults entertained for the 3 1/2 hr tour. Whale watching was a lot of fun and we had a great time. Thanks.

Great staff and our captain was the best. Randy was great with many years experience and knew many of the whales we saw by name. He was funny and very skilled with the large Zodiac for us all to see whales, porpoises, harbours seals to just name a few.

While we originally were a little terrified about wearing floatation suits and being in a jet boat, the experience was amazing. Something magical about a quick little boat ride over the bay and then finding a pain of fin backs. Definitely worth the trip to St. Andrew.

Such an incredible experience on the Jet Boat. Saw many whales, seals and porpoises an even visited the salmon cages and the lighthouse! Definitely worth the money and would love to go again! It was the highlight of my trip to New Brunswick.

The best whale watching experience with kids. We went with them for second time just because we loved it so much last summer. Different species come in different months too. I envy the captain and the crew who can do it every day. :-)

There were 10 family members that went on the tall ship and we all had an excellent time! We got to see whales, seals, porpoises, and various birds. The staff was very knowledgeable and so friendly! We highly recommend this tour!

I literally grew up in St Stephen and St Andrews, so whale watching has literally never appealed to me. When I came home from out west, my mother suggested this and I rolled my eyes pretty hard. How exciting can whales be?!?

Well.... We saw 4-6 finback whales, over the course of a few hours, with WONDERFUL guides (marine biologists is the term I'm sure) and had an absolute blast.

Boat was great. Captain was cool. Guides were awesome and even THEY were just SO excited to be there, they really love their job and it shows.

A great experience for a jaded old maritimer like myself.

The best whale watching company ever. The crew and captain are amazing and so lovely. They gave you coat, rain coat and soup during the journey when the weather is so cold. They let you to have an experience with the sea creatures.
We enjoyed a lot.

Wonderful experience and we did see whales. The boat ride was quite smooth in spite of some rough seas. The biologists were terrific in their presentations. It truly is a "must do" experience.

Highly recommend the tall ship Jolly Breeze! We took this trip with our 10 & 12 year old daughters and they loved it too! Younger kids on board had fun with colouring below deck and face painting - and whales, seals, sea birds and porpoises!! Of the 4 crew - 3 were biologists and they were very knowledgeable spotting the wildlife and telling us about them. The ride was smooth and relaxing and every seat was front row! Delicious soup was served and hot and cold drinks were available for purchase. A beautiful way to see more of the Bay of Fundy. Excellent!

This was a wonderful experience for me. The marine biologists onboard were absolutely amazing. I really wish I could remember those two ladies names. They gave excellent educational background to the areas we went and brought around star fish and other sea creatures for educational purposes. It was exciting, informative, and beautiful. They served the soup at the perfect time and we will really have some great memories. You ladies are incredible! Thanks for the awesome experience! We saw whales, porpoises, different birds including a bald eagle and the seals are so cute and funny to watch!

Great experience on the tall ship tour! The guides were amazing, and we lucked out on the number of whale sightings (...I think. I personally only caught a few tails-out-of-water from my vantage point). Snacks and drinks can be purchased on board, and complementary soup is served toward the end of the ride. Really enjoyed the informative aspect of the tour -- in addition to speaking about whales common to the area, the guides will also come by and show you their (responsibly collected) trove of sea creatures, which was fascinating. This would be a very good tour for families. One word of caution though: wear layers, even in the dead of summer, as it can become frigid on the open waters. (Rain jackets and blankets are available on board.) We booked the 4:30 p.m. tour (the last tour of the day during the summer), and it ran longer than expected, so keep that in mind when scheduling. Book-ahead reservations recommended in the busy season as we saw people being turned away the day of the tour.

We had the best morning with the crew of the Jolly Breeze! We had six adults and five kids (ages 4-9) with us. The kids loved getting to dress us like pirates, steering the ship
with Capt. Dave, helping hoist the sails with Engineer/bar man/& entertainer Randy, drinking hot chocolate, as well as spotting two whales, a seal, porpoises, and various birds. Katherine, the marine biologist on board was fun and educational. She taught us a ton about sea creatures and even had a touch tank for the kids to handle starfish, a lobster, a sea cucumber, a hermit crab, and sea urchin. And although you never want anyone to get seasick, they were very helpful and compassionate towards a little one who turned green in our party.

Amazing time! Saw 6 to 8 humpbacks, lots of dolphins and even a shark! Take the zodiac, it's fast and smooth and with the full suit on you don't even get cold. Best spent money of the trip!!

We thoroughly enjoyed everything about our adventure aboard the Jolly Breeze. The ship is beautiful. There was plenty of room to move around. We were served a lovely breakfast in the galley. The crew were friendly, funny and very good at what they do. And we saw whales! Great tour of the bay as well. We will go again with them if we're back in the area

The experience was phenomenal. I'm glad we chose the jolly breeze. Everyone on the crew was friendly and knowledgeable. The marine biologists had local Marine life on board for show and tell, but also treated them sustainably. Breakfast was a nice touch, as was getting to sail on a tall ship. Great experience for all ages, with lots of kid friendly activities.

Super nice sailboat tour, we saw whales, seals, porpoises and dolphins. The crew is so nice, lots of activities for the children on board: pirate costume, makeup ect. The cruise lasts a good 3 hours. Seriously we loved it. I recommend it without hesitation

Better than I expected!!! Went with 2 kids (7 and 8 yo) they were never bored (some kids were). We saw whales for about an hour, each child got to steer the ship, they got to hold different water animals. All this while I enjoyed a glass of wine!
The offered homemade pea soup that we all enjoyed, my husband had 2 cups!
Highly recommended!

Nice trip but it was pretty long. Crew knew their stuff but they are young. Pea soup was a nice touch to the end of the voyage. Saw a lot of minke whales but far away. They sail to capacity so it was a little tight

Great staff and so nice of them to run a whale watching tour so late in the season. It was a very bumpy ride which was very fun. Prepare to get wet! We saw grey and harbour seals, bald eagles, 2 giant finback whales, a minke whale, and tons of porpoises.
The tour was very enjoyable and well worth the money!

Excellent, well-paced trip out to see whales. The crew was knowledgeable and friendly, and they had plenty of activities for young children. Onboard breakfast was simple but pleasant, befitting a small vessel. Plenty of time was spent out at the whale feeding grounds, but the slower nature of sail does make the trip there and back longer. Fortunately, the crew is also knowledgeable about local islands, and they carry a touch tank and baleen to discuss marine biology on the way back in. I would absolutely recommend this ship.

Whale watching with jolly Breeze was an incredible experience. We were kept warm and dry and we actually followed the whales and watchd them sleep and interact with each other. It was an amazing experience

Fantastic experience. Went on the VIP Zodiac tour. You don't just putter around nearby, they take you pretty far out for a good 2.5 hrs.

You will be given a very fetching and flattering survival suit to wear, so check in when they tell you to as there is a bit of hit or miss getting sized and then pulling on the suit. You will appreciate this suit more when you get to open water.

Sunscreen on your face, ears and neck is HIGHLY recommended. Don't bring a big bag or purse or backpack as there is nowhere ideal to stash it.

Our guide that day was very knowledgeable and in addition to spotting seals, porpoises and some whales, there was also some sightseeing as he pointed out interesting landmarks.

Take a camera if you want but the pictures you get will be nowhere near as good as what you're seeing so be sure you try to enjoy the experience in real time without a camera or phone in front of your face.

There is also the parts where your guide turns off the boat's engines while we wait for a whale to surface. It was the first time I had been on the Bay of Fundy without hearing an engine. It was so quiet. How often can you experience that? We could even hear the blowhole when a whale surfaced. I mean... COME ON!

Also there is hot chocolate and a soft ginger cookie.

Worth every penny. There aren't many better ways to spend an afternoon.

What an amazing experience they offer! Being on the open water in a Pirate ship was just as exciting for the adults as the kids, the crew is full of knowledge, especially Courtney and Randy, they had great personality and information. Loved that the captain extended out trip a little longer when there was a chance to see a whale and we were very lucky to see one. Thanks for everything Jolly Breeze! I will definitely be back in a couple of years.

We traveled with 4 children: 11, 8, 6, and 4 years old. It was an excellent experience. We saw minke whales, seals, and porpoises. The staff were very good. They kept the kids busy with face painting, raising the sail, steering the boat, and learning about local sea creatures. The breakfast was good and the facilities were clean. A great way to spend 3.5 hours!

Amazing. The crew was fantastic. Ensuring we seen as much as possible, and cared for our safety. We went out, suddenly surrounded by fog, the captain turned us around and safely returned us to clear waters.
