They were very responsive at first, when they were trying to fill a position. I was told that they'll get back to me once they get the feedback from the client about an interview I did. After nine days of no communication, I emailed to ask for an update. There was no reply. If I didn't get the job, that's fine. But, at least have the decency to let me know. Don't just disappear just because you're done with me and you filled the position. Even a canned one will do, just to say "Hey, unfortunately, they went for another applicant." I get the hint but it's rude. It shows you look at people and treat them like disposables, like they don't care for decency. I will bookmark their address in my inbox to remind me that I will not deal with these people in the future.

AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!

AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!

Dealt with TAL group as a *formality* on a contract I had found directly with a company, they'd asked I use one of their agencies for the employment. (They did not find me this contract, I had neither any relationship with them nor was I aware they existed prior to being asked to go through them by the company)

Their recruiter misled me to believe it was a 45/hr contract. I asked for 50, despite that he still told the company I asked for 45. Upon receiving the offer and speaking with other agencies and colleagues that had done contracts at the company, I found that this was a 65-70/hr contract and 45 was a grossly understated figure. (that's a difference 40-50k/year)

In the end I had to decline the contract as it could not have been renegotiated thanks to the un-professionalism and greediness of the agent. Had I gone through one of the other agencies, I would have easily signed a 65-70/hr contract with the company. Luckily I had found out before going into the contract, otherwise I would've left my full time job and been stuck at the crappy rate they offered.

If you are a potential contractor, avoid them, if you have no choice but to use them, record all calls and do your research through other agencies and folks that have done those contracts before.

If you are a potential client, know that their un-professionalism and greedy nature will not bring you the quality talent you are probably looking for.

Consistently have the least informed recruiters I ve ever tried to work with. Don t waste your time with these guys; there are much more engaged and pleasant recruiters to deal with who actually know the businesses they are helping.
