Beautiful palace.. it's good to know about their history and how they have managed it
Umaid Bhawan Palace, located in Jodhpur in Rajasthan, India, is one of the world's largest private residences. A part of the palace is managed by Taj Hotels. Named after Maharaja Umaid Singh, grandfather of the present owner Gaj Singh. The Palace is divided into three functional parts the residence of the royal family, a luxury Taj Palace Hotel, and a Museum focusing on the 20th-century history of the Jodhpur Royal Family. one of the best place to see indian architecture
This palace is magnificent and captures the true essence of Maharaja experience. The life once Maharajas have experienced can never be lived again by anyone in the world. There I saw vintage Rolls Royce for the very first time in my life. This palace have hosted many high profile events. The elegant design and extravagant features attract tourists like flocks of flys. Really I was awestruck when I reached here. No one forgets the feeling and the experience once after visiting here.
Palace is quite lovely. But the museum doesn't seem worthy. Good for one time visit.
No 1 hotel in the world' most beautiful and royal place
The Umaid Bhawan is a majestic property with a stunning facade & landscaping. The whole palace used to be the home of the King of Jodhpur & the family. Now some part of the palace has been converted as museum and holds the things used by the royal family.
Nice food, Swiming pool, Well furnished room with bath tab. . .
This palace like that a musuem..
Nothing special thing..
Overrated muesuem of a man who did nothing to deserve muesuem after him.
Luxury hotel as well as nice outing spot for tourists
If u are just coming to museum... Honestly not that great.
Most beautiful place ever visited......love it..if u r lucky u will get to see the royal family and there are many vintage cars for all the car fans and many more things u can see there......sooooooo goooooooodddd experience...
If you are interested for interior or big building this is for you. Nothing sort of historical or architectural.
Umaid Bhawan Palace, located in Jodhpur in Rajasthan, India, is one of the world's largest private residences..
Best vintage car collection..
The collection of Vintage cars is a must watch but make sure you got a DSLR to get the pics as the shadows from the background make it difficult to click.
If you are history lover, then you will get so much to understand about king. Also they have showcased vintage cars. Entry fee is 30rs per adult.
Amazing place. Must visit while on trip of Jodhpur. Royal shop n Crafts are available. Superb architectural memorial.
One of the Architectural Marvel of Indian heritage.... absolutely a pleasure to explore
It's a good tourism place at jodhpur. It have also a museum and luxury hotel. The royal family of marwar is also living in this place.
Vintage car collection room doesn't have lights, n parking charging is 30/- n visiting the palace is also 30/- so it's not that worth!!
Its okay from inside personally the beauty is from outside. As its merely a 20% of the palace used as a museum its a quick trip of may be an hour max.
One of the best Awarded Hotels in Jaipur - Umaid Bhawan is a budget Hotel with exceptonal heritage art work with all modern facilities. Styled like a heritage Hotel, this property is highly awarded and reviewed by almost all travel guides
Its a fabulous one. When you have the glimpse through the top of mehrangarh fort during sunrise just look fabulous. You can call it the most fabulous property in Jodhpur . Only one third of the property is open for public view.. means the museum containing the artefacts of the king and their heirs in succession , how the fort was built and some details of there life. Rest is occupied by the royal family and the taj hotel. A must visit place for everyone in Jodhpur and if you are staying in taj then that s the best you to admire its beauty.
Must visit museum in Jodhpur. Takes more then an hour to absorb all interesting artefacts. Dont skip to eat the kulfi at the entrance.
The Palace is beautiful, it is very huge, the Palace Museum though is very small, visitors are allowed to visit a very small section of the palace
Really enjoyed this place. It is a little far from the city center and it is located on a heal which is really hard to only walk! So it is better to go by tuk tuk, some of them waits for you outside the palace.
Entrance fee is 100 rs. And you can see some parts of the palace which is open to public, it is a nice history of this family and also a small store.
There is a very luxurious hotel down there which you can book but very pricy.
It has a great view of the city
Beautiful piece of historical importance. Must visit place. Best would be to hire a guide.
Best palace ...great ..collection of antique cars...
Nice palace
Pic click by Kd
Awesome place with awesome collection.... historical
The best hotel in the world withput a doubt. Impeccable service in every aspect.
Too much costly to enter in the palaces and the forts in Rajasthan.
Nice but no entry for all, only for the hotel stayers.
if you are in jodhpur , do visit this place , nice place
It's a big fort. Half of it's portion open for public and half convert into a hotel.
