Not worth the visit. Just an over priced money grubbing hotel holding captive visitors to eat lunch of no value at an exhorbitant fixed price; it's just a junk heap heritage and history glorifying ignominious era.

Wow is my first visit experience. I have been here 6 times by now. My experience with the place is good. Hospitality here can not be matched any where else. Food is very good, I liked the Italian restaurant more than the Indian restaurant.
I don't think I have ever given 5 stars in any other review for that would imply perfection. The architecture and interior decor of this Palace, however, is as perfect as it is possible to be on this earth. Built by the Prime Minister of Hyderabad in 1895 who went bankrupt as a result. It was then sold to VI Nizam of Hyderabad. The building and grounds are impressive and the interior is in its original and unrestored late 19th Century Victorian style. No doubt one of the best maintained former palaces in the world. Small but perfectly formed, it is now an exquisite 60 room hotel. Very, very expensive but worth every anna.

The best dining and stay experience of our lives. My wife and I spent a night there for our 20th Anniversary. Right from get go we were treated like royalty. The meals were out of this world. The hospitality, from manager to all the staff was the best we have experienced anywhere in the world. Taj Falknuma made us forget the Covid blues and created a memorable 20th anniversary. Thank you Taj.

It s definitely worth visiting this place and taking a tour of the palace to know about the rich heritage of the Nawab s of Hyderabad. Royal plush of this palace is just incredible!! If you are a Hyderabadi or a tourist to hyderabad add this to your Must Experience list.
I went for a leisure trip with my family for 2 days at Taj Falaknuma Palace. The hospitality was great. They give you the most royal treatment which we had never experienced before: You enter through the Palace in royal cart followed by welcome drinks and royal walk with rose petals showered on you. The morning buffet breakfast is amazing and Prakash on our request also arranged for special food dishes which made us relish the food all the more. There is Sufi and Qawali performances in the evening to entertain the guests and the special Palace tour for residents. You get to know about the history of the palace. I recommend to take the palace tour on the first day of stay to enjoy each section of the palace on following days. There is a golf course as well where we tried golf for the first time, Peacock feeding, etc. There are various activities which would keep you occupied throughout the day and enjoy your stay. For evening dinner we went to Adaa the Mughlai restaurant which served us the best Dal Makhani I have ever tasted. Overall an amazing experience for me and my family. Special thanks to Gautham for attending to us throughout our stay and making it the most comfortable one. Would surely recommend stay at Taj Falaknuma Palace to all!!!

It was only 2 of us and ordered Haleem pathar gosht nellori Kodi curry bread basket chicken dum biryani and dessert platter. The price we paid was 13000+ tax which was 15326 in total.. I suspect they might have double counted everything. I am expecting a call back on this review.

Visiting to Taj Falaknuma Palace is just like visiting a kingdom, Its really great place I have ever visited. The Royal Residence of Nizam Mehboob Ali Khan, The Interior designing is excellent, The dinning hall is superb and feel like king, most memorable place to visit again and again.
They didn't allow me at first for the tour and high tea because i was wearing shorts :) but then they made an exception, I guess because of my beautiful girlfriend.
What an experience.
Shame on the king tho for squatting in the minister's creation. Very trashy behaviour.
It's totally like they say... La creme de la creme.... It's breath taking,outstanding,beautiful,romantic,expensive...but a one time in ur life visit place. Not to b missed for anything.
A palace converted to a "5 star hotel " by the taj group. Great architecture Royal look and much more.
We had a table booked for two on 21st Feb at Taj Falaknuma Palace. However due to unforeseen family emergencies we had requested for a last minute cancellation of the booking. But now the Taj authority using their corporate policies is trying to refuse that. They ate not even trying to understand that I we arr not interested for an alternate day but rather the money which is urgently needed for our family. Sic !!

Gorgeous palace restored to it's former splendor. Worth a visit if ever visiting Hyderabad. When you book for the restaurant, you get a tour of the palace which is insightful. The staff is friendly and the service is wonderful reminiscent of old regal charm.

Superb experience of living through the yesteryears of Hyderabad's rich culture and history! The guided tour that was part of the stay was very informative but the only comment that I have is that pronunciation of the guide was very thick, making it not very clear especially for the foreigners who are not accustomed to Indian accent.
